My task was to simply get supplies to help me on my journey to find my mother and little sister. Not to stick around in one place, especially one with so many people. Everyone knows s@&$ goes down when there is a bunch of survivors huddled together. One day a person thinks of an ideal way of how things should run. Later on they become too exposed with that power that makes them think 'everthing that I'm doing is for the group' but in reality is abusing their power. Thus resulting in a tyrant. I'm not all about that, I'd rather be free to choose my own decisions. And now I have to go back because I wanted to save some crazy f$@!ing fangirls.

At least I'm ahead of the hoard by a few minutes, which still gives me enough time to catch up and warn them. What if I don't make it in time? What if they don't believe me? I am just a kid after all... No, stop doubting yourself, those people's lives are on the line. Just bring them the news and leave before hits the fan.

I finally catch up to the crazy fangirls who are still screaming. Holy crap. Who even screams that long? At least there are no zombies appearing in front. I look back to see the hoard that has multiplied. "F&@$." I say. I begin to sprint to the group. "You guys need to shut up! You are f$&@ attracting them like magnets!" I say. They all shut up, one person talks to me, but I don't listen since my bs meter is going on. I don't have time for this. I continue running up the road to make it to the survival area.

I run through the back doors of the kitchen and enter the lobby to see a bunch of new people standing around. The atmosphere seems to be intense. Also I notice the kid who got bit passed out and also handless. What the hell happened when I left? "Then you need to tell me the code." A woman who I presume to be the leader informs the two adolescent girls. "Bruce is HYDRA," I interrupt. I cough awkwardly when all heads turn to me. I hate being the venter of attention. I inhale as I continue, "There is a hoard of zombies heading your way." The atmosphere in the lobby definitely intensifies by 1000. Plus I think I heard someone scream.

Michelle watched as the girl bolted out of the hotel. "No, wait-" But she was already gone. Michelle sighed as she turned back to Webster, who was currently in the process of wrapping up the boy's hand - or what was left of it - in bandages. "Jeez, Webster, I can't believe you punched a kid in the face," Michelle said. "Although I guess cutting off his hand didn't exactly look that great either. But he was bitten, and I did what I had to do," she shrugged. "He'll be fine."

She turned to the doors once more, noticing another new face in the hotel. She looked like a teenager, and was staring in horror at the boy's hand on the ground. Before she had the chance to address her, another new girl began to yell. "Another f#%#king Walker- oh, never mind." She was speaking English. But she was yelling. Yelling? No. Only Michelle and Webster were allowed to yell.

The girl immediately stopped yelling, then turned to Michelle, a bright smile on her face. She walked up to her and extended her arm, probably for a handshake. Michelle narrowed her eyes at the girl as she took her hand in her own, and shook it firmly. Then the girl - she said her name was Eun Ji - went on to explain how she ended up at the hotel in the first place.

"Hello, Eun Ji, my name is Michelle. Before I continue, I just have one rule that I hope you can follow. Shut the f$^# up, okay? Use your inside voice, and don't yell. Alright? Can you handle that?" She doesn't give her the chance to answer. "Good." Michelle sighed. Maybe that was rude. But at this point, she didn't care. She almost lost 2 members of the hotel, and one was just a little boy. She didn't need any more walkers being drawn to the safe house by the sound of yelling.

"Sorry if that was rude. I just - sometimes this is all too much. I'm sure you know what I mean," she continued, trying to force a smile. "As you can see, everything here has been going swimmingly," she said as she wiped walker guts off of her boot.

"Listen - I understand you need help. I've heard your story. But if you want to stay here - and that goes along for you too, newbie," she pointed towards the other girl who stood by the door. "Then you need to tell me the code."

As I ran out of the hotel I hear an ear splitting scream. I dodged a bullet this time. I stop for a moment to figure out where I was headed to. Taking out my map I look at my options. I could go further North, zombies are slower in colder weather. Then again I'll need the recourses to stay alive in such climates. That is somewhere mom would take Malie; just to keep her safe. But I highly doubt that a high school uniform is appropriate attire for snow or a zombie apocalypse. Plus my sweater was not an option. Although I have to try.

I continue down the road when I hear foot steps approaching. I run behind a tree to see what or who was approaching. It was a bunch of girls screaming out 'Cho Eun Ji!'. Jeez, crazy fangirls will always be crazy, even in life threatening situations. But they're creating a lot of noise. I can see multiple zombies coming out to chase after them. They are going to die. OMG quick time event Trudi. There are four options. Number 1: warn the group by shouting, causing the hoard to follow me. Sure I can outrun them, but I don't know how long I'd be able to last. Number 2: fight. This is the option that will risk my life, but do I really want to die for complete strangers? Number 3: get their attention in some other way. Probably the best choice out of the four. And last but not least number 4: leave them to die.... Yeah, number 3 is probably the best way to go. Even though this might go terribly wrong, I have got to try, in order to save those girls.

I pick up a rock and try to aim for the car furthest away. Please don't aim terribly, I chant to myself. I throw the rock and it hits a nearby car. Sadly, it only caught the attention of a few zombies, as well as the girls'. They all turn around, getting an eyeful of the zombies and all scream and up the road. The zombies follow not to far behind. That could've gone better. When the fangirls continue running up the street, I realize that they were getting closer to The Rising Island hotel. Ugh, I can't just not ignore this. It is partially my fault, I have to go warn them. I guess I didn't dodge a bullet, it just ricocheted back.

I turn around as I hear a scream. I walk in and see what the commotion was all about. My eyes widened as I see a boys hand on the floor. "WOULD EVERYONE JUST SHUT THE *&^# UP?! OKAY WHAT THE &^*# IS GOING ON HERE?!" I yell angrily. I walk up to one of the girls who seem to be in charge. As if Im a bipolar I happily greet her and extend my arm. "Hi my name is Eun Ji! Nice to meet you! May you explain what the &*$# is going on here?" I sigh. "I've been travelling for a few days and I could really use some help. All of my group members and managers got into a cad accident and I was with them... I got out to call for help and the car exploded so im on my own so what the ^#2*$ is going on because im confused as ^$*#."

Julie stands in front of the safe house, making sure she has all of her supplies - or what's left of them - in her backpack. She tried to hide the smile on her face as she looked back up to the hotel. She finally made it. Maybe they had food, other people, and - blankets. That's what she wanted the most. She couldn't remember the last time she had a blanket.

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she heard footsteps behind her. But they sounded human. Not like the walkers, who would slowly advance and drag their feet. She turned around, watching as a girl around her age walked into the hotel - and completely ignored her. "Hi - bye. Okay." The girl peered into the hotel for a few seconds, then stopped.

She turned around, then sat down on the steps. "Okay, I guess you're staying then," Juliet said as she sat down next to the girl on the steps. "Hi. I'm Juliet. I don't usually look like this, but um, you know, zombies and stuff." She gestured to her blood-stained clothes and her dirty hair.

Julie's attempt at conversation was interrupted as an ear piercing scream erupted from inside of the hotel. She wasn't sure if she wanted to go in or not, but she did anyway. She was expecting some kind of walker, and she found it, but it was dead - deader. Then she turned to the source of the screaming, a little boy who's hand was now on the floor. A woman had just cut it off. "Holy s@$!."

Then a man craned back his arm and punched the kid full on in the face. "Wow," Juliet thought. "What a nice place we have here."

"Yo, Michelle what's- HOLY !@#$%!!" I shout. I see Michelle chop off that boy's hand. He begins to scream at the highest note I never knew was possible.I didn't want him to feel the pain so I punch the kid and he knocks out. He could have passed out from shock, but who knows how long that would've been. I quickly wrap his hand in bandages and apply pressure to make sure he doesn't die from blood loss. I look up at Michelle, "What the hell happened?" I ask Michelle who looked at me in disbelief. Probably because I punched a 6 years old kid.

The scream resonated throughout the room, and Michelle was already on her feet. She looked back down to Webster who sat in a chair next to the one she was just sitting in, and pulled out a knife. "Give me a second."

She ran down the stairs as fast as she could, peering over the handrail to see Samantha - that woman who kept to herself all the time. "Are you s#@^ting me?!" Michelle exclaimed. "Of course it was her. Of course she wasn't sick-" A child ran up to her on the stairs and grabbed her arm, hiding behind her body for protection. "Don't worry, Ashley. It's gonna be okay. Just wait here."

She continued making her way back down the stairs, a determined look on her face as she walked up to Samantha. Michelle knew that her sympathy meter was way too high, but she couldn't help it. Ever since Peter and Kate... she had taken to caring for those who didn't have anybody else. And that meant taking in people who were alone. When Samantha first arrived, she insisted that it wasn't a bite - and Michelle believed her. Obviously, looking back at it now, that was stupid.

Michelle looked to the door, where she saw a teenage girl bolting for it. "Hey, Flash, get back over here. You're not in danger." Of course, Michelle could she why she would think she was, there was a zombie standing right in the middle of the room. But that was to be dealt with immediately. And another thing: another girl just walked in through the front door. "Hey you - dude, did you just sigh? What the #%^#. That's definitely a different reaction. Whatever. Stay where you are."

Michelle walked up behind Samantha, and she didn't notice, probably because she was too busy biting into a little boy's hand. That only fueled Michelle's anger more. He was a boy. Just a boy. Whatever Samantha was now, it was far from human. Michelle kicked Samantha in the back of her leg, and she fell to the ground. She used this opportunity to smash her boot into the back of Samantha's head, ending her assault on the little boy. Michelle turned to him, the blood from his hand squirting all over the place.

What was his name again? John? He didn't look any older than 6 years old. "Hey, John?" Michelle softly whispered to the boy. He nodded. "That walker just bit you. Do you know what happens when you get bit?" He nodded again. "Okay. Do you know what we do when people here get bitten?" He looked down to the ground, tears flowing down his face. "We don't have much time, alright? This way, you won't turn into a zombie. And after - after we could play a game. Monopoly. You'd like that, right?" A small smile crept onto his face. Of course he would. It was his favourite game. Michelle knew everybody's favourite games.

She quickly led him to a table on the far side of the room, where everybody steered clear of her and the boy. "Jesus, calm down, he's not a walker yet. And he's not going to be." John laid down his hand on the table, and turned away, closing his eyes. Michelle raised her knife in the air.

"Are you ready, John?" He nodded. Even if he said no, she knew she'd still have to do this. The knife came down.

I reach the hotel only to find chaos inside. I sigh. I have been travelling for about 3 days. I was travelling in my van when a person walked in front of our van causing an accident in the middle of the highway. I just managed to get out and my team members and manager died. I ran for help but by the time I got a block away the whole van burst in flames. I made my way to the hotel the origin of our trip. I was forced to survive for myself. I irritatedly turn around and sit on the steps as I sigh. "What the &*#^ is happening to the world?" I think aloud. Luckily I had my bag and all necessities. Using my slickness I went into the chaos restocked and got the heck out of there.

So, I'm here in The Rising Island hotel. I scout around for my family when I first step inside, since it was the plan to make it here; unfortunately they were nowhere to be seen. Then a staff member of the hotel ushers me to the line for food and supplies. I know this wouldn't exactly be 'heaven' but it wasn't so bad I guess. The windows were boarded, as well as the doors. There are families huddled together all over the main floor, and the wounded are being treated by staff in the main office.. Suddenly, someone bumps into me, I turn around to see a middle-aged woman who didn't look so well. She didn't say anything and continued her way to the medical room.

"Thank you," I say to the staff member as he passes the bag of supplies. I sit down on the floor and open up the bag. Inside included medical supplies, a knife, non-perishable food,2 L of water and other survival items. I zip up the bag, and close my eyes as I lean on the wall. I am so exhausted. I've been travelling by foot for a while now, and separated from my family for what seems to be a week? I lost track of time and I don't wish to remember.
I reach for my phone, turning it on. There's 43% of life left, I would charge my phone but I debut there is any outlets of use here. Why did I even bring my charger anyways? In hopes of everything going back to normal so I would go back to the internet? I think so. I find myself looking at my past texts, particularly the messages of my mom and I.

"Oh my gosh, we were such dorks." I say while smiling. Even though we had those past texts that are cringey, but they never cease to make me smile. Like who even sends 'yolo' anymore? We were so outdated. My mind then wanders to the earliest memory I had of my mom and my little sister Malie before the apocalypse. Tears threaten to fall down my face-- no, don't cry, you must be strong. You'll find mom and Malie.

A scream echos in the lobby, I open my eyes and grab the kitchen knife by instinct. The same woman that bumped into me is biting a young boy. Everyone in the room goes into panic. My ears start to ring, and my adrenaline begins to pump. I stand up, grabbing my bags. Before I know it, I get pushed down. The middle-aged zombie chooses me as her next appetizer. "Like hell will you get a bite out of me," I say. I once again stand up and run as fast as I can out of this hell hole.

Suddenly I look back and I hear someone yell,"OH MY GOD ITS CHO EUN JI!!!" Well... *&^#. I see people coming towards me. "Aish..." I start running as fans run after me. I can't do fan service today. I bolt and I turn into a alleyway slickly. I pant and hold my chest breathing. Suddenly i see a figure coming towards me from the opposite end of the alleyway. Not another fan... my eyes widen. As I see it in better lighting I start walking backwards. Suddenly it lunged towards me as I screamed. "AHHHHH WHAT THE &*#*!!!" Suddenly I dont know why or how but I grab its head and smashed it against the wall making it's guts spill everywhere as I jump back. I was quarter horrified quarter surprised quarter confused and quarter impressed with myself. I smirk and smooth myself down as I looked at it and slipped out of the alleyway as I tilted my head down and kept walking to the hotel hoping I would make it in one piece. I see people running towards me again. I bow to them apologetically as I bolted for the hotel again.

She would take a few sips of water here and there, trying not to finish it all at once. But it was hard. Not having enough supplies to live wasn't exactly something she was used to, and she was scared of getting used to it. Scared that this would become her life. Trying to defend herself from zombies. Trying not to die of starvation. Just simply trying to survive.

The hotel came into view and Juliet let out a sigh of relief. "Finally." After all that walking, she was finally where she needed to be. She stepped over a few zombies as she made her way over - looked like somebody else was here at one point. "They're all dead... or, well. Deader than they already were, whatever."

When she stumbled upon the body, she couldn't help but feel a hint of remorse. "God..." She tried to look past the zombie as she walked by, but she couldn't. Julie could tell that it was a small body, and she looked just like her sister. "Just keep going..." she sighed. "Don't think about them." But the feeling was persistent. It was like laying awake at night, trying not to think of all that embarrassing stuff you did last year - she just couldn't stop. Memories would just come back, and fill her head until she cried. But there wasn't time for that now, especially since she just heard a walker.

Julie turned in the direction of the noise, seeing a walker slowly walk in her direction. She instinctively reached for her back pocket, where her gun was, then stopped, and reached for a front pocket. "No, no, not a gun," she whispered to herself. "It would make too much noise, just like mom said." She grabbed the knife from her pocket, maneuvering behind the walker, and waiting for a few seconds before she plunged the weapon into the back of its head. It did the job, but now her knife was stuck in its head. "Come on..." She tugged hard on the knife until it finally came out of the walker's head, pulling it out, but along with that, she fell to the ground and the zombie fell on top of her.

"Ew. Ew ew ew ew ew ew. Oh my God," she nearly screamed as she pushed the walker off of her body. Now there were walker guts all over her clothes, her hair, and her face. "Great. Just great." She wiped the zombie guts off of her clothes, leaving an ugly red stain. "Screw you, zombie." Julie continued along the path, until she finally reached the front door of the safe house. At least now she was here.

I run behind a Honda Pilot to hide from the zombies. Great, when I'm so close to the hotel those monsters had to show up. I peek up to see how many zombies there are-- I count 3. Okay game plan, I start to think 'What would someone on The Walking Dead do?'. One of the zombies is coming towards me, so I can take him out first. I hear the sounds of feet dragging across the pavement becoming louder. The zombie passes me and I go in for the kill. I kick on the back of his leg and he falls; I quickly stomp on his head. I peek up again, one zombie is eating on what seems to be a raccoon, while the other is walking into the forest. With the zombies occupied I can walk without being caught. "Okay Trudi, just be stealthy," I murmur to myself. Just when I begin to crawl, I hear a screech. I turn around to see a little girl zombie chasing me. I don't want to catch the attention of the other zombies; I'll need something to muffle her sounds... Yo, my sweater! I get up and walk towards the zombie, unwrapping my sweater over my waist. Once she is in a close enough range, I throw my sweater over the girl's head. I grab the sleeves and pull her down. As she slams into the cement I stomp on her head. On the ground was splattered brain that was emitting a putrid smell. The feeling of guilt rises again. Jesus Chirst, that was a !@#$ing kid, I thought I'd be used to this by now. I think back to what my mom said before the hoard of zombies attacked, 'They're not people anymore Trudi, do what you must to stay alive.' I feel like throwing up. These zombies were once regular people.

Julie made her way along a path, hopefully in the right direction that 420 Barnemoth Road was. "Four twenty," she smiled, shaking her head. It sounded like a joke her friends at school would make to her. They would still make those jokes - if they weren't dead. And here she was, alive. But she was alone. No parents, no siblings, just her and her gun. And the walkers. "Can't forget the walkers," she sighed.

She continued for about ten more minutes when something caught her eye - a lake. She almost ran to the lake, her water bottle already opened. Water. Its what her mother had been looking for the day she disappeared. "I cant believe it. An actual lake-" Her happiness was cut short when she felt something grab her hair and pull her back. "$#@/!" She swore, falling to the ground. But it was okay. The walker was chained to the tree behind her, and couldn't get to her. How did she not see that? Julie took a deep breath and collected her walker before continuing along the path, running to get to her destination quicker. "I need a haircut," she muttered to herself.

I skip along the sidewalk not paying attention to much as i realize I really shouldn't make myself stand out. I start walking normally and I pull my mask up to cover my face except my eyes and pull down my black cap as I walk to the hotel.
