@C유☥ milktea_princess Jongin’s mouth part and he is about to defend Seyong a little more since he’s not there to do it himself when Soojung talks. He scoffs brows knotted in the center when he nudges her for suggesting it. After all, it wasn’t as if he hadn’t heard it many times before. Almost a pout forms on his face as he makes a long dramatic sigh. Two guys could be really close friends without being interested right? Why did Soojung have to say that in front of Seyong’s little brother of all people? He didn’t want anyone to get the wrong idea.

“Soojung!” He says. “How can you calmly ask your /boyfriend/ a question like that?” He stresses the word even if they’re not actually dating. She must be reading too much manga again or something to let her imagination get the best of her. He did care about Seyong a lot but that was only because they had been friends for so long. Everything was perfectly platonic between them. His attention goes back to his dogs as he sticks his tongue out rather childishly at Soojung.

“No I never considered actually dating him.” He finally answers. “Even if I was interested Seyong isn’t my type. I’m not his either. We’re just best friends and I am only interested making sure he finds someone who will cherish him - I would be that way with all my friends though, it just happens to be I have very few friends to be clingy with. Since when I’m clingy with you, you give me that unimpressed look.” He says the last part like a complaint. “Sehun, don’t let her get into your head. She likes making people uncomfortable I think.” Jongin groans.

@C웃➶ monggus_dad "If you say so, hyung," Sehun replies, still not quite convinced - he feels like a third wheel right now and despite liking Jongin's company, the high schooler doesn't feel like staying here much longer. It would be off for him to run away though, suspicious even, so Sehun stays. He smiles a little at Jongin, wishing that the older male would say that about him, too. On the other hand, that kind of love is brotherly love and while Sehun is okay with that, too, it's nothing close to what he wants.

He's relieved to find Jongin defending his older brother. Sehun, too, thinks that Seyong is a charming man. On the other hand, both Jongin and he are biased as they like Seyong a lot. Soojung's opinion might be more representative of what other people, especially females think about the oldest Oh sibling. So when Soojung snorts at Jongin's statement, he is not too irritated, but he feels a bit sad still. Maybe his brother isn't as popular as Sehun and his parents have always thought.

"If we weren't dating I would think you were gay for Seyong," Soojung says. Sehun's eyes grow big like saucers at that, blinking because that is what he has been thinking before, too, many, many years ago when he first discovered his crush on Jongin to be more than just a boy's admiration for a cool hyung. He was a bit jealous back then, but soon realized that Seyong was too much into girls to want a romantic relationship with his best friend, and over time Sehun came to the conclusion that Jongin, too, must be pretty straight.

Sehun is mortified when Soojung asks the next question. "No, but seriously, did you ever consider dating Seyong? You're pretty clingy considering you're just his best friend. One could mistake you for his obsessive lover."

@N유☥ milktea_princess His stomach growls loudly at the mention of pajeon because Sehun’s mother is one of the best cooks ever - and it sounds like it would be nice with makgeolli but Sehun isn’t legal yet. He also likes green onions a lot so it was a good thing she made that. “It’s okay for you to stay.” He repeats. Sehun must feel like an intruder or something but if he knew the truth then he would know neither of them minded and even if they were dating he wouldn’t turn the younger male away. “I love your brother. Even if he is a pain in the . But I figure I’m just as annoying to him.” Jongin grins a little.

Lucky? Jongin isn’t sure any guy with Soojung for real would be lucky. She wouldn’t let them get away with anything and probably nag them into submission. Though, some guys wouldn’t mind that he figures most couldn’t handle Soojung. Jongin figures he only surivies because he has no common sense so it’s always in his best interest to listen to Soojung for the most part.

“Seyong isn’t that bad!” He says in defense of his friend. “Soojung’s standards are ridiculously high so she wouldn’t be impressed with Seyong but I’m sure lots of girls would fall for his charming smile. Except they’d have to share him with me because no way will a girl steal my best friend.” He says matter of factly. “Don’t worry Hunnie, Seyong is super cool.”

@N웃➶ monggus_dad "But without Seyong you wouldn't get to eat mom's food. She made pajeon for tonight. I'll warm them up later for dinner, if it's really okay for me to stay the night," he says, still timid because Soojung is sitting there. He feels scrutinized under her stare, as if she was able to see right through him. Could she see that he had a crush on her boyfriend? He's too nervous to meet her eyes, so he keeps his gaze on Jongin, only looking at Soojung when Jongin's mentions her name.

"You're lucky," Sehun says, disheartened when he watches the little skinship between them. Though it's a bit weird to see Soojung slapping Jongin's arm for the little nudge - if it was Sehun, he would have leaned against Jongin to nuzzle into the older male - but he supposes that she's either shy or they are the type of couple to fight lovingly. As in pretending to fight and hate each other but actually loving each other deeply. That thought hurts him even more.

"Your brother's too dumb to date," Soojung says then. "His pick up lines are the worst. His humor is terrible and he's so unreliable, what kind of girl would date someone like that? Unless it's the caring noona type of girl but Seyong's not into them." Sehun nods, but blinks at the given information. He's never heard a girl talking about his older brother in that way, and somehow it shatters the image he has of his super cool older brother.

"He's not really like that, is he?" He asks, a bit uncertain, his eyes darting over to Jongin.

@N유☥ milktea_princess Even though Sehun was the younger brother of his best friend he thought of the other as a friend - of course they weren’t close as Seyong and he were but Jongin always had fun when they hung out. He was like the younger brother Jongin never had the chance to have because it seemed the female gene was strong in his family with three sisters. When was super young he had always tried to convince to come over and play with his sisters because then Sehun had been super cute (though he was still cute - but less masculine and more boyish) so he could get away to play games with Seyong. Bribing the younger with bubble tea and promises of getting him good treats.

“Seyong makes my life hard,” He jokes but in reality he’s probably exactly the same for the other. It doesn’t matter what they’re doing somehow when the two are together they end up in all kinds of trouble. Whether it be pranking others, messing up in the kitchen when they tried to remake their favorite meals, or simply one night Jongin tripping over a gaming system and nearly breaking it. “I have to bully him when I have the chance.” He smiles somewhat mischievous. Seyong had been one of his first and well his /only/ friends. If Sehun was like his younger brother then Seyong was the brother his age.

However his mouth opens at the other’s question. He casts Soojung a look that somewhat reads ‘help me, what do I say’ because he’s bad at lying. But he figures it best to keep up the lie to stay consistent and if Seyong found out he would never hear the end of it. “Can you believe it? That someone someone like Soojung would date me?” He nudges her because in all reality he’s probably the furthest from her type. “I don’t think he’s dating anyone. He would not be able to keep it a secret well.” He laughs imagining how Seyong would burst into the room with heart eyes and confessing his love for whatever girl it was. (Or maybe that’s how Jongin would be.)

@N웃➶ monggus_dad Sehun approaches then with a shy smile, sitting down close enough to not seem impolite, but far enough so he wouldn't intrude too much. He's still unsure what to think of Soojung, except for that she's really pretty, with long silky hair that's currently pulled up in a pony tail. Her smile is pretty, too, and if Jongin dates her - he's not sure if he does but it kind of looks like it? - they surely make a nice pair. It's moments like these that Sehun hates that he wasn't born a pretty girl. Usually, he's okay with being himself because his face is pretty enough to make him look like a girl with the help of a wig and some make-up. He stands no chance if there's a girl like Soojung in the way, more so when Soojung seems so confident; her presence is noticeable.

"Why would you want to bully hyung? Aren't you best friends?" Sehun asks, his arms curling around Monggu's body. The pup is growing and he's getting round, too, a bit fat even. Jongin must feed him a bit too well while not paying much attention to his own diet. He knows both his brother and the best friend well; none of the are good at cooking and rely heavily on Mrs. Oh's home cooked meals sent over to them every other week.

He glances at Soojung then who is staring at him intensely. It's intimidating to him. Sehun has never been good at handling older girls. He's been to Jongin's house once or twice in the past when Seyong had to babysit him but wanted to come over to Jongin's place instead. Jongin's sisters scared him though - and that is what he's thankful for - they've taught him a few things about fashion and make-up. That's why his appearance now is always impeccable. Jongin's sisters have taught him the basics of combining clothes and colors and he has been a willing student (inwardly, because he pretended to hate it back then).

"Hyung, you never told me about your girlfriend," Sehun whispers as he looks back to Jongin, trying his best to ignore the female. She makes him too nervous. "Is Seyong hyung dating in secret, too?"

@N유☥ milktea_princess His dogs are treacherous things going to those who give them belly rubs or treats over their owner who cleans their poo, raised them since pups, and pays for their expensive pet fees. (Like the time Monggu choked on a sock and his vet bill sky rocketed.) He doesn’t sulk though because he’s not that childish even if he wants to when they eagerly seek Sehun’s love and not his own. “They love anyone-” Though he’s certain they actually did like Sehun since they had seen him so often.

He however forgives Sehun for stealing his dog’s love when he sees the containers of food. He quietly blesses Mrs. Oh in his mind because his own mother was too hard to swindle home cooked meals from. She would talk nonstop, ask Jongin intrusive questions about him dating and being “safe” (too bad she doesn’t know he fake dates Soojung and his real commitment is to the internet), or would cry because she misses him at home being the youngest of his siblings. Therefore the last to leave. He adores his mother but she’s a handful to deal with always eagerly her thumb to wipe something off her nineteen year old son’s face. He had almost died of embarrassment when she tried to do the same to Seyong.

Jongin stares up expectedly at Sehun. He likes the younger. Of course when they were younger he spent more time teasing the other than anything else. Though he remembers the time Seyong and him had told Sehun he couldn’t play with them. Sehun had cried and Jongin had felt so bad that after that he had made a conscious effort to be nicer. Sehun was now like a little brother. He often felt jealous of Seyong and Sehun considering he only had three older sisters - playing dress up with them got old really quick and more so terrifying when his sisters were all in puberty together.

“I think he’ll be back soon. I forgot where he said he was going.” Jongin says. “You’re not disturbing anyone. Soojung is just here to bully me. Your brother needs to get back so instead we can all pick on him.” He offers a mischievous smile. “Stay. It would be pointless going back now.”

Soojung just shrugs off Jongin's words. "It's still a compliment. I rarely say nice things, so it's a good thing," she counters quickly, a wide grin on her face as she watches Monggu sauntering over to the newly arrived boy. Monggu's siblings, too, are running towards Sehun, all three of them excited it seems.

"Look, your babies love Sehun more than they love you," she laughs, though she can guess the reason why. Sehun is crouching down to meet the dogs' level, and differently from her, the boy doesn't push the pups away when they give him wet kisses. She frowns at the sight because to her it's unhygienic, but boys don't seem to mind much. Neither Jongin nor Sehun or Seyong are complaining when the pups do express their love in that way.

Sehun gets up a bit later, hesitance obvious in his stance as his eyes keep flickering between Soojung and Jongin. He's not so sure what to make of the information, because lovely nightmare could be both: an annoying girlfriend (as in female friend) or an annoying girlfriend (as in girlfriend-girlfriend). Either way, Sehun does what he would do on other days too. He brings the bags with the food boxes in, partly food that his mother has made, partly some that he has prepared. After all, both he and Mrs. Oh are concerned over the two boys' eating habits, now that they're not living at home. Admittedly, Sehun is more concerned over Jongin than his own brother, but Seyong doesn't need to know that. Jongin doesn't need to know that either.

"Hello noona," he greets and puts down the plastic bag on the living room table. He keeps standing there, unsure if he really should follow the invitation and sit down with Jongin and Soojung. To him, it looks like they're busy with each other and he would just disturb them. He clears his throat awkwardly and speaks, voice quiet as his face grows warm. He can feel both Soojung and Jongin looking at him and it's unnerving. "I just brought a few things mom told me to give you. And... I thought I could stay overnight because it's Saturday and mom's okay with that, too, but if Seyong's not at home, it's okay, I'll just go home then. I don't want to disturb you two..."

@N유☥ milktea_princess He hadn't known Sehun was coming over. He rarely does. Either Seyong forgets to tell him or Sehun shows up unannounced - which he doesn't really mind because Sehun is good company and smarter than his brother. However he looks up a little surprised. Maybe he had a delivery a message from Mrs. Oh? Probably something along the lines of keeping organized or maybe sending food over. Mrs. Oh cooked the best, he thought longingly.

Monggu is out of his lap one second and darting towards Sehun in another. The traitor, Jongin thinks but doesn't blame him. His dogs are incredibly weak towards cute people. Much like their father.

"Seyong's younger brother." He says and scoffs. "He's a boy. He probably doesn't want to be called a doll." Even if Jongin silently agrees some. There was a certain ethereal appeal about Sehun that Jongin could only be jealous of and wonder how the younger Oh sibling was cute and Seyong wasn't. Not that Seyong was ugly - just not like his brother. He pauses when Sehun speaks because he's always unsure how to introduce Soojung. If he's honest with Sehun, he might mention it to Seyong and then everyone would know...

"This is Soojung, my lovely nightmare. And Soojung, this is Sehun." He says and gestures for Sehun to take a seat.

@N웃➶ monggus_dad Before Soojung can reply, there is a ruckus at the entrance door. For a second, she thinks it's Seyong coming back from wherever he went to, but the next moment a boy - the pitch higher than Seyong's voice - was shouting for his hyung. It surely can't be Seyong, but must be the little brother Jongin's best friend and roommate has been talking about.

"Seyong hyung, Jongin hyung, mom said-"

The boy stops in his tracks once he enters the room and spots both Jongin and Soojung sitting on the ground, both comfortable with the pet dogs on their laps. He's completely frozen for a moment except for the rapid blinking of his eyes. He only starts to move again after Soojung speaks up, saying how cute he is.

"Is that Sehun? He's such a cutie. He looks like a doll, nothing like his brother," Soojung says. Sehun just frowns at that, unsure if he should be happy about the compliment (he is happy, but he can't admit liking to be called cute) or if he should complain. In the end he just bows, feeling a bit shy because there's a stranger in Jongin and Seyong's apartment and that stranger is a pretty girl. He just hopes the girl is just a friend of Jongin or a classmate coming over to do a group project with and not Jongin's girlfriend.

"Jongin hyung, who's that?" He asks.

@N유✞ aventurine Jongin smiles a little. He does want many kids but not now. Not while sharing a place with Seyong or when he's ridiculously young. "Later in life." He says. Even a horde of puppies would be tiring. They're so energetic and for now, he can only have enough time to raise three dogs. Jongin thinks about mini-Monggus and shutters. He loves his dogs but can't deal with the idea of many of them.

He takes a seat next to her pulling Monggu to his lap despite the dog not wanting his attention. Minggu was good at looking cute when he didn't get his way. He presses a small kiss to the fluffy fur and scratches behind his ears. "She doesn't want her doggy kisses. You have to accept rejection son." He chides playfully the dog only tilting his head confused.

She was a bit bossy and a dominant personality but he didn't mind. He preferred people who spoke their mind rather than tried to please everyone. Anyway, Soojung didn't put up with his which was admirable. Even when he tried to be cute and get away with things sneakily. He wasn't that subtle.

"Ah~ I'm going to rank up quickly hopefully." He says. "Once I actually become good at the game. Play with me sometime. Otherwise I'll spam your messages."

@N웃➶ monggus_dad "I thought you wanted lots of kids," she , though she could imagine how tiring it must be to watch over a horde of dogs. The three Jongin has now are quite lively and if their pups were as quirky as them, Jongin would surely age quickly; he's already complaining about his 'babies' giving him grey hair.

"Monggu, stop," she chided the overexcited pup, laughing when he whimpered and laid down, obviously sulking. But no matter how cute it looked, Soojung wasn't too keen on having dog saliva all over her face, not to mention that make up surely wasn't healthy for pups. The other two dogs were a bit calmer, but that's probably because she's petting them.

"I just have two hands, Jongin. Help me take one of the babies," she says, her tone not giving room to discuss. It's an order. Soojung's always been bossy, but luckily Jongin doesn't seem to mind much. They're both a bit odd in their own ways which is probably the reason why neither of them is dating yet - dating for real that is.

"I just started last week, how do you expect me to level up as a priest so fast," she scoffs. Jongin's attempts at being cute never work on her, they just annoy her instead (though admittedly his smile does look a bit cute).

@N유✞ aventurine Soojung, unlike most girls, didn’t make him feel nervous. He isn’t sure if he bro-zoned her too quickly but she didn’t try too hard to please him or cling to him obnoxiously. In fact, she probably scolded him more than his mother and always delivered the bitter truth on a platter. Not to mention she was /fun/. It was odd sometimes pretending to be her boyfriend because he would forget and always give them away but mainly because he wasn’t sure how a boyfriend would even treat a girlfriend - his dating experience all but none. He would have told Seyong but he would have ruthlessly, laughed at him, or not to mention him being the worst at keeping a secret (he’s pretty sure he’s already told Soojung everything he’s done embarrassing already). So he let his best friend and roommate think they were dating. Plus Soojung was pretty and with a cool personality so it helped him out in the end. He knows Seyong thinks she’s pretty too even if he won’t say it and didn’t complain too much when Jongin said she was coming over.

He scoffs. His children were still babies. “They can’t have girlfriends. I’m too young to be a grandfather already. There would be a horde of puppies running around and I’m pretty sure Seyong would kill me if I brought home any more pets.” He says. Lazily Jongin slumps down. Another reason he enjoyed her company over the typical person was he didn’t have to try hard to be anything other than what he was. If he did, he’s pretty sure she would call him out on it.

“How much have you played Dhana Zamina? Have you leveled up yet? I haven’t really played much. Don’t level up before me. Wait for me?~” He asks with a small smile.

@N웃➶ monggus_dad It's a Saturday afternoon and as always Soojung has wanted to lock herself up in her room and play video games. She's ambitious, so despite only starting with Dhana Zamina recently - and as priest nonetheless - she's wanted to level up by today. Unfortunately though, her roommate has her friends over and Soojung, not quite wanting to mingle, has decided to go visit Jongin instead. Of course her friend has asked why she wouldn't bring her boyfriend over, the more the merrier, but Soojung has been quick to counter with Jongin wanting to spend some quality time with his girlfriend only; she's just forgotten to tell her friend. And so, here she is, standing in front of the door to Jongin and his best friend's apartment, trying to peek in before she steps inside.

True to Jongin's words, the apartment actually looks decent. There's no empty food containers from last night's dinner nor can she spot dirty clothes scattered around. It's definitely an improvement.

She settles down on the living room's floor, sitting there cross legged so the dogs can rest in her lap. Soojung is not necessarily a dog person but she does love cute baby animals and Jongin's pets are really cute. They're always happy to see her. "Maybe I should," she replies, laughing softly when Monggu tries to give her a kiss. Luckily she was fast enough to dodge the dog's tongue her face.

"Or maybe get them a girlfriend each," she suggests.

@N유✞ aventurine Naturally Jongin moved to clean up a little not wanting to traumatize Soojung with the mess lingering around in his shared apartment with Seyong. Thankfully, it wasn't too bad. He just tossed some trash away, kicked Seyong and his shoes in the proper place, and put away from snacks they had the previous night when they had spent the night gaming instead of studying. He made sure his dogs hadn't dragged out his boxers like before to chew on them and when he was finally content with how the apartment looked he relaxed some. He had already warned Seyong to not do anything embarrassing like coming out half dressed or something. Seconds later when she actually arrives he greets her at the door, opening it so she can come in. He remembers once when she visited and pretty much found everything that could embarrass two guys sharing an apartment.

“I cleaned up this time.” He says sheepishly as he nudges the dogs away for now with his socked foot before they can attack her with their unconditional love. He is pretty sure his dogs like Soojung more than him - he argues because they like girls, Soojung is pretty and Monggu isn’t immune to pretty girls. “You should come over more - you’re depriving them of their favorite person.” He says really just happy they all go to sit on her lap rather than his own because they’re getting heavy.
