Forest

@Lay Wonwoo smirked lightly and leaned on the stone wall. His arms crossed in front if his weak chest. "Jackpot, Mr Nosy. A blind rouge, I'm actually a king of the place so be aware!" said boldly, trying to look like a tough guy what looked more like all those kids playing superheroes. Then he chuckled a few times and shook his head. "Yeah I can't see. And now I'm wondering if you really can..." he add and turned around with intention to come back to his work and ignore the strange man. "Me...a rouge" wonwoo chuckled a little more. Then he stopped on his track after hearing the others words. In a minute all his memories from the few first days on the crazy planet came across his poor mind. It was hard. He nearly had died trying to find something to eat, a cave he could stay at, a water to drink... "It's hard. Here even some lakes are poisonous. But hey there,Mr Nosy, you think I teach you?" the healer faced him once again. " you want me to lose my only job?" a sweet and innocent smile crept on his face. "All those leaders give me a space because I'm, or I eventually will be useful for them in future. I can't trust any forest-guy that run into my home..."

@Jeon Wonwoo - 9447L Lay raised an eyebrow at the other's words. "So you make potions?" Then it was likely he really did have good knowledge of the plants in the area. Lay watched as the person stepped forwards, the way he stepped boldly forwards into the sunlight. There was no flinching in the man's eyes, no contraction in the pupils, and the man didn't seem to react to how Lay's eyes narrowed in scrutiny - /blind/, he thought, or extremely visually impaired. Keeping that in mind, he made his gestures bigger, louder, not wanting to scare the other if he accidentally came too close too quickly. Who knew how dangerous the other could be if startled?

It was obvious the words were not for him, but Lay answered regardless. "Not a pet, but I am looking for a clan," he said bluntly. It wasn't a shameful thing - sure, he could live on his own, but it would be much easier if he had a clan to work with. "I suppose you're a rogue?" The way the man talked, it sounded like he didn't have a particularly high opinion of clans.

"That's still impressive, considering you can't see." It was a bit of a gamble, considering Lay had no concrete evidence one way or the other, but he trusted his instincts. "How did you initially discern between poisonous and beneficial plants?" Even if the man couldn't tell him about every single plant on this planet, his methods would certainly be useful, if he'd determined a way to test plants without using them on himself. And combining them to make potions - fascinating, really, how different people had adapted to this world, and Lay smiled slowly, eager to learn something new, something that would undoubtedly prove helpful to his survival on this planet.

@Lay Wonwoo smiled a little hearing his words. That was quite new for him. "It's the first time someone's looking exactly for me and not my potions. I honestly not sure what to say..." he moved closer to the newcomer and finally showed himself, feeling a fresh air on the face and strong smell of the forest. He kept walking till he could hear the others breath, making sure to in front of his face. He had heard the heavy changes of the movements the man had been making, ones that he could understand as strong and secure, the stranger seemed to be dangerous to him. The healer bet he was a hunter or warrior. Rather rouge since he didn't knew him. "...or a new pet in the one of the clans..." he said aloud not even noticing that. Being constantly alone he really didn't care talking to himself. Sometimes he was making it so loud that the echo that was bouncing around the cave gave him a sweet illusion of having a company with him. "Truth." He added shortly and moved his hand to the side finding the familiar part of the rock that was exactly 10 feet away from the mouth of the cave. "But I am not so naive and rude to say I know EVERY little leaf that lays on this planet. But sure, I know a lot of them" he smirked his usual way and titled his head, for a moment just listening to the presence of the other human being. His curiosity made him craving more information about the stranger. How tall is he? How his face feels like? Why his steps are so heavy there since he didnt hear him earlier? Why on the first place he followed him? Is the reason he said true? All thoughts started to buzz and mix themselves in his head. Finally he decided to stay still and wait for the next reaction of his guest.

@Jeon Wonwoo - 9447L The voice that responded sounded far away, echoing oddly from the mouth of the cave. Whoever was speaking would have to be rather deep inside the cavern, and Lay stepped closer to hear better. "I don't know," he called back, gripping his knife tighter. "I'm not sure who lives here, but I know they were in the forest, picking herbs." There were footsteps from within, coming closer, and Lay remained on edge. A flicker of movement could be seen in the depths of the cave, and Lay stiffened, alert, but whoever was there stopped moving. "I'm looking for someone who knows the plants of this world, and can teach me about them," he replied, still cautious. "Would that be you?"

@Lay The smell came first. A wet wood mixed with green dragon plant. Then it hit him. A male voice. He stood up slowly sighing. Someone new there? He thought. It wasn't an option that he had missed the date or didn't count one or two days that the customer was already there. Anyway the male didn't call him like he should have, he didn't know him what was new. He hadn't had a new flesh in weeks. "Depends on who you are looking for" he screamed back since he was too deep in the cave to talk with the other normally. The noise of his steps moved along with his figure, hitting the walls of the cave. Wonwoo actually could sensed something different in his new customer. When his hand felt a soft whistle of the wind he stopped, hoping that thr other couldn't yet see him. "Then who you are looking for, my friend?"

@Jeon Wonwoo - 9447L The footsteps seemed meandering, without a clear path. Lay followed the footsteps, becoming increasingly confused. It was as though someone had been wandering in the forest, stopping randomly- And then he caught sight of the plant nearby, with the leaves stripped bare. Ah. So there was someone picking herbs here, then. Lay was under the impression that the plants here were different, but perhaps he could learn about equivalent species here and make use of Yixing's medical knowledge. With that in mind, Lay picked up the pace, though he still kept his movements controlled. It wouldn't do to scare the person off before he managed to learn all that he could.

Eventually, the path became straighter, with a clearer direction, and Lay breathed a sigh of relief. He'd been wandering for a while now, and he hoped it would be worth it. He followed the tracks, and found a cave at the end of it. Lay couldn't see into the cave from here, but from the tracks, he assumed that someone would be within.

"Hello?" he called out, staying a little distance away. It might be considered too threatening to be right at the mouth of the cave, after all. "Is someone in there?"

Despite his hope of learning from the person he'd followed, Lay kept a hand under his jacket, gripping a knife tightly. Carelessness was lethal on this planet, and Lay would not hesitate to strike first if he thought himself in danger.

@Lay That day Wonwoo was feeling bad. Something bothered him since the first time he wake up. Back then he cloud sense that it was still too cold to be day and just went back to sleep. But the second time he moved out the bed the uneasy feeling was still there. Didn't minding it too much he decided to made some herbal potions for aches for one of those clients to who you couldn't say no. It quickly turned out that he didn't have enough mint to complete his work. With a loud whine he took a large basket and went into the forest. He really hated wandering around for only one ingredient and then the strange feeling just didn't give him a break. After a few angry steps he whined again. The ground was heavy and smelled. The mud, he thought. If the day couldn't just become more perfect, he would have to clean his clothes when he finish those stupid potions.
After about 3 hours he was back in his refuge. He didn't hear anything dangerous but still he decided to be all ears to every strange noise when he started to crumble some plants. After that all he could think about was the recipe for the medicine.

@Jeon Wonwoo - 9447L Lay's footsteps were near silent as he traversed the forest. Sure and steady, his controlled motions left little behind, no deep imprints in mud, no trampled foliage. Yixing might not have known how to be a hunter, but Lay had learned out of necessity.

As he moved through the forest, calm, unhurried, Lay kept his eyes open for any signs of life. Any animals, any edible berries or mushrooms or plants. Food gathering was always a priority, especially for his clan, and Lay wasn't going to let them down.

And then- tracks. Lay noticed them, the imprints left in the ground. Not unusual, certainly, but what caught Lay's attention was that these were very obviously human tracks. Recent, too, from the looks of it, from how sharp and clear the footprints were.

Even though this wasn't Lay's territory, just knowing that someone could be nearby put him on edge. Deciding that his peace of mind was more important than gathering food right now, Lay began to follow the tracks, keeping an eye out for any movement. There was still time before the sun set - he could look for food after he'd found this human.

@Mark - 9394 [[ I am really sorry for the late reply, I am busy with uni and stuff ;; >< ]]

Baekhyun observed the panicked look in the other's eyes and how he hesitated to accept his help. But he was not judging his decisions, he himself wouldn't trust just anybody out there. Some people are really dangerous and the boy looked so fragile and weak. Baekhyun couldn't just leave him there, he knows the people after him will harm him. He sighed a bit and managed to get his arms under the other's knees and lift him up, in a bridal style.

"Alright. I will bring you to a hiding spot. But be quiet." Baekhyun said and started to run towards a place he knew for sure it's safe. He still heard the noises and it was concerning him, because if those men follow they are both dead. Because they have weapons for sure and Baekhyun is completely not handy with a person in his arms. He was lucky enough to run fast and reach the spot.

Once there, he placed the boy down and searched for some bandages and some clean water. "Calm down and rest a bit. I'll ask about it when you'll wake up." Baekhyun said intending that the boy should sleep now, because they are safe. However, he is willing to know details about why he was hunted down and maybe he can find a way to help the boy. "Tell me where hurts the most. I will bandage the place." Baekhyun looked at the boy and waited for an answer.

@Baekhyun - 1919R (sorry for the super late reply, i'm hardly can online for a long time because i had to go trips and stuff. )

Mark looked at Baekhyun intently. He wanted to trust the man so much but his mind won't let him. "No.no.. I'm okay. I'm just fine." He said softly. "Why..Why would you help me?" Mark whispered while hiding his faced in his knees but loud enough for the man to hear. He felt it was weird for a man randomly helped him. Don't the man afraid he dangerous. The worse was what if the man had bad intention.

Mark gasped when he noticed the men that hunted him were getting nearer. He had no other choice except to accept the man's help. He didn't mind even if the man wanted to torture him because it was better than being burned to death. He bit his lips to prevent him from sobs loudly. He looked at the man in front of him with teary eyed asked for help. "P-lease help me.." His hands tried to reached out for the man.

He tried to stand up but he instantly fell back. After tried to stood up again but failed, he gave up. He looked at the man and bit his lips. "J-just go. Leave me here." He didn't wanted the man also get hurt because tried to help him. Even he didn't know the man's intention but he was kind enough to try to safe him,right? "Maybe it's my fate." He looked down and chuckled slightly then looked at the man back. "Thank you for even trying to help me." He said to the man while smiled slightly. "G-go.." He said panickly when he heard the sounds got nearer.

@Soohyuk - 0151R Jeonghan knew everything he needed to know about this man. No honor, no respect, and selfish. He's the type of person Jeonghan disliked the most. There was no way he could let him go now. If he did there's a chance Soohyuk won't come back. He said it was a mistake thinking he could steal from them. But he'll run the risk of him coming back for more than a simple meal one day. Perhaps he'll find a clan to join and start a war. Or he'll come back on purpose for more dangerous reasons. Two very likely possibilities, but it could get his clan killed in the long run. He practiced mercy, but only on a one strike system. Soohyuk used his one strike coming into their territory. Now he had to pay the price. "You don't have to. I've asked you all I needed to and you filled in the rest. Now I can't let you walk out of here without punishment." Going to the door, he opened it and addressed the men outside. "When I'm done take the prisoner to the hole and keep him tied him." Closing the door, he turned back to Soohyuk, placing his knife back in its sheath. "I can't just let you go. You're a flight risk to my clan, so I'll have to throw you in prison indefinitely. You'll be fed every three days and given water once a day. I won't let you go until I know for sure you're not a threat to us."

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 "Keep telling yourself that, Jeonghan. Soon enough? You'll actually believe it." Soohyuk said with a smirk, finding it interesting how the other stuck up for himself. From how defensive he was? He knew it deep down in his dark soul as well. Even as he was interrupted, his smile only grew. "What are we, children? No, you started it~" He retorted with a slight eye roll, finding that pointing fingers was an immature and needless task. They did what they did for survival and that's all that ever mattered. He didn't feel sorry about it all. Not for leaving, or for when he left. "You think I really care about the pitiful people you choose to protect? You can handle yourself, obviously so I left. I am very confident but I'm intelligent. I just made a simple mistake of thinking I could score a meal or two from you guys." It was finally in the air. Soohyuk wasn't the type to murder in cold blood, no. He was more of the type to tear your spine out for irritating him and being too close for too long. Which this was pushing it. "Look, I'm not answering another question until you untie my neck. Kill me if you want, at least I'll die trying to have some dignity."

@Soohyuk - 0151R Jeonghan shook his head denying Soohyuk's claim. "I'm not sick nor am I twisted. I have to protect my people and if tying you up like this is going to keep them safe from you, then so be it. You wouldn't even be in this situation if you hadn't punched me, so you have no one to blame but yourself." Before the man could retort with him attacking him first, Jeonghan held up his finger to interrupt him. "I know I shot at you first. You came into our territory, so I had every right to do so. If you didn't expect to be attacked, then your foolish or too cocky of your own skills. All-in-all you started it." When he answered Jeonghan's face twisted into anger briefly, before he schooled his features. So this man is a traitor and a threat to his people. He'll have to do something about him. "I see. So you left us to die, then you come back with some ulterior motive. You're cocky and you're stupid. Next question. What did you come here for?"

@Mark - 9394 Baekhyun looked at the others shocked expression and his own eyes went wide. Through what horrible thing did this man went through, that made him this terrified? Baekhyun couldn't tell what was going on through the male's head, but he stopped touching him. The last thing he wants to do now is hurt him.

"I won't. I am not here to harm you, I am here to help you. I see you have some pretty bad injuries there. How about you let me take a look at them, hm?" Baekhyun said as softly and gently as he could. He observed the boy shivering and the only thing he could feel was pity. His heart was breaking seeing the boy in this state.

His senses activated all of sudden when he heard someone talking near them. He couldn't hear the whole conversation, just parts of it: 'Here somewhere' 'we have to get him' 'bring him to' 'boss will be so mad if we lose him'. Baekhyun panicked a bit, thinking that those guys are searching for the hurt male.

"You have no reasons to trust me, but if you are this scared, I guess you are in danger. I hear some voices and they are getting closer. Please, let me take you to a safe place." He said and tried to look into the other's eyes, but he was still hiding. Baekhyun looked around and saw something moving. He could only swear in his mind right now. "Please, sir." He looked at the other more determinate now. If the other won't agree to his purpose, Baekhyun will take him out of there with force. He's pretty sure those people want him dead.

@Baekhyun - 1919R When Mark wake up, he was confused. A lot of though ran through his brain. Where he is? What's going on? Who is he? More question came but no answer for him. It was hard to open his eyes and to adjust with the light but he forced them to opened when he smelt a very foul smell. As he opened his eyes, he was surprised by what he saw. He was surrounded by a lots of bodies. Unconscious. Some of them were rotten. He followed the trailed of smoke and saw there were people threw bodies into the fire. He gasped loudly. Instinct told him to run away far from there. He was quite far from the people. They won't noticed him if he stood up. That's what he thought. When stood up, he felt so weak but he toughen his body to keep move. Unfortunately, one of the guy saw him and shouted him. He quickly ran because the people were after him. He kept running even they were out of sight. He just ran without noticed where he go as long as it was far from that horrible place. He accidentally went into a forest. When he was sure he is safe. He walked slowly. All of his energy wore out. He kept bumping into wood, fell on the ground and scratched his body with twig and torn. After a long time walked aimlessly with no energy, he felt down unconscious on the ground.

When he woke up, the day was getting dark. He moaned and groaned when he moved his body because it felt so hurt and aching. He stunned for a moment when he heard something was getting closer to him. He closed his eyed, pretending he was unconscious. He felt he was being shook. He ignored when the man was asking him. Suddenly, a thought came through him. 'What if the man bring him to the previous place?'. One thing was in his mind. He needed to run! He jerked up but fell to the ground back as he lack of energy. He looked at the man with fear. His eyes was tearing. He couldn't stop shivered. He brought his knee closer to his body and hugs them tightly. "P-ple-please sir. D-don't h-hurt m-m-me!" he plead to the man.

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 There was no forthright reaction when the rope around his neck was tugged it. Soohyuk knew better then to feed into someone else when he was put in such a weak position already. Once he was given free reign over his oxygen, he inhaled deeply and looked around the room. How to get out... and maybe knock this down a peg or two. "Please, you tied me up because you like watching other's squirm. You never fooled me, Jeonghan. You're just as sick and twisted as I." He said with a soft growl, finding it rather annoying to keep his body stiff in the position. The blade didn't scare him, nor did the man holding it. Maybe it was the makeup, or the fact that it was a mistake to chase after someone. Next time, he'd probably let his pride go and continue whatever he was previously up to. "I left." Was all he answered, gritting his teeth to keep back a sarcastic remark. After all.. he did need to get out of here alive.

@Mark - 9394 Baekhyun was walking through the forest, doing some field marking and finding hide-outs for extreme cases. It was a place where he has been before, but he just likes to review his surviving map. While he was walking through the forest, he heard some sudden moans. Not knowing what those sounds were, he was ready to attack. He took his kunai out and looked in every way possible to find out who or what is doing those sounds. He followed the moans and hums until he reached at a certain tree. He looked all over and observed a bush next to it. The sounds were clearer now, so he actually approached the bush. Taking all the risks, he uncovered the body, still ready to fight. However, his eyes went wide as he saw an injured male laying there. He put his kunai back and got in front of him. "Sir?" He softly shook him and tried to bring him back to senses. He checked his body, trying to find out if the other was bleeding, but he seemed normal. Just few cuts and bruises. Baekhyun shook him harder. "Can you hear me?" Baekhyun tried again, looking around to assure himself there is no threat. If the male was injured, then there is someone or something that hurt him, so he must pay attention.

@Soohyuk - 0151R Jeonghan stood waiting for Soohyuk to wake up for half and hour. Of course the man couldn't wake up gracefully. He nearly laughed at him gagging himself on the ropes. Arm crossed, he waited for him to wake up a little more and notice him. Snorting and shaking his head as he bent down to Soohyuk's level. "I'm have a few closet kinks. None of the rope tying variety though." His voice was soft and quiet. Motioning to Soohyuk's body, he tugged a little at the rope around his neck, choking him for a few seconds. "I'm more into asphyxiation, but that's beside the point. Point is you're too danger to tie up normally. I'm sure you'd be able to free yourself if your hands were just tied behind your back, so I took an extra step and tied you this way." Standing again, he pulled a knife from his belt, flipping it in his hand. "Now I have a few questions and it would be easier for the both of us if you answered them accordingly. First question, what happened to you during the war?" Depending on his answer Jeonghan will hurt him or he won't.

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 It would be lovely to say that he'd never been taken in as a captive by a clan, but it was a yearly thing for Soohyuk. He took a little pride in it, because it meant they obviously thought of him as a threat. Enough so that they wouldn't just leave him to possibly die after being defenseless. In fact, if he was conscious right now? His heart would probably swell with pride from how thorough everyone was being with him. Everything was actually doing fine until he woke up. Slowly blinking his eyes open, the rogue almost instantly gagged himself from trying to stretch out as he normally did after a good sleep. "They ing hog tied me?" He whispered to himself, wishing he could rub his eyes to adjust his vision a little faster. With a soft groan, he rolled onto his side just in time to catch someone looking at him. A wide smirk grew on his lips as he looked Jeonghan in the eyes. "Couldn't pick something a little less humiliating, could you? Ah, it's fine. I enjoy a kink or two myself." Soohyuk said, his voice raspy from sleep while his back seemed to ache from being rubbed raw.

@Soohyuk - 0151R Jeonghan raised an eyebrow at his last insult, before he passed out. Laughing softly, he stood and grabbed the man's ankles, before dragging him across the forest floor back to the base. It was protocol that all intruders, familiar or not, be brought back to the base and held in the Holding Tree. The Holding Tree was a large tree with the base carved out with a high ceiling and could fit a decent amount of people in it at once. He stepped on twigs and leaves, stepping over rocks and small logs. Soohyuk wasn't so lucky though. Leaves and small twigs stuck to his hair. The larger ones scratched up whatever part of his body touched them. His head bumped against rocks. When he stepped over logs, his back got scratched up and there's probably plenty of splinters in his skin. Not many people know it other than the clan deputies, but Jeonghan has a bit of a vindictive streak to him. The littlest insults or physical harm can make him upset enough to want revenge, but he doesn't go out of his way to get it. If the opportunity presents itself, then he'll take it, even if the revenge is small and petty. When they got to the Holding Tree, he ordered his men to strip Soohyuk of all his weapons. After they cleared his person and took his bag, Jeonghan saw to tying him up himself. Laying him on his stomach, he tied his wrist together tight enough to cut off his circulation, then tied his ankles just as tight. He had an extra rope to wrap around his neck and connect rope to his wrists and ankles. Soohyuk wouldn't be able to move much without choking himself. Now all he had to do was wait for him to wake up.

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 Smirking slightly, Soohyuk nodded without having to even think about it. "I never said you didn't look good. That's pretty much given." Ahh, to be charming at the worst moments was his biggest fault. It was true though, if anything, Jeonghan was one of those weird ones. Beautifully handsome was the best way to describe it. He couldn't help but roll his eyes slightly, not looking for anything like a fight. No, he just wanted a quick bit of revenge for almost having his life taken from him. Which, a punch in the face was probably the nicest way to go about it. "Sure it would have. You probably still have to same crap aim you've always had." The rogue said with a cocky grin, still carefully watching the other as he pulled out a knife. "Are you kidding me? I'm not here to fight you, there's no point." He said, furrowing his brows as he examined the tip of the blade closely. It was definitely dipped in something, and he didn't want to find out. Alas, he would never just flee from a fight if he knew he would definitely get out alive. Shifting his weight from one hip to the other, he was about to raise his hands and ask for a truce only to be stopped in his tracks by the knife piercing his skin. Within seconds, he knew exactly what poison it was. A neurotoxin. ing wonderful. "The only reason why I punched you is because you're a ." He whispered, a small smirk still on his face as his head fell back against the grass. It was a good time for a nap anyways.

@Soohyuk - 0151R Jeonghan's eye twitched as Soohyuk laughed at his own joke. There was nothing funny about it, but he'd let the man have his laugh. There wasn't much to laugh at or find joy in now-in-days. He even threw in his own jest. "I still look good though. That's the important part." Not really, but it was part of it. He wouldn't dare put anything on his face that didn't look good on him. It took him days to come up with three different designs that were effective, especially his every day look. The initial looks didn't do him justice nor did they work all that well. No one knew what he looked like, but they didn't camouflage him as well as this look does. He eyes flickered to the blood dripping down Soohyuk's neck and he was going to offer his assistance to help bandage him up, but then he was punched in the face. It was unexpected and he was foolish for getting so close to a man he hasn't seen in so long. People change. He's changed and he should have know better. Stumbling, he didn't fall, but half his body was angled away from him. "I'm lucky? You're lucky I don't kill on the first shot or my arrow would have went straight through your throat." Eyes dark and hard, he pulled a poisoned dart from the pouch on his hip and threw it into Soohyuk chest right over his heart. Seconds later he fell over. The poison was fast acting and numbed a body seconds after injection. Bending down, but not too close. He won't make that mistake again. "The only reason I was close enough for you to punch me is because I recognized you, but I won't make that mistake again."

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 Hearing the other say his name, he couldn't help but be his normal sarcastic self. "Noo~ pretty sure that's my name." Soohyuk said as the other approached him. The bow was to his side, and the arrows still in the quiver but knives always came into play for close combat. Which is why he never quite let his guard down, even as the smaller male moved closer. "Holy .. are you serious? You look like a rainbow ed on your face." He laughed, holding his stomach with one arm. It was too easy to pass up, and anyone would most likely agree. No matter what he said, Jeonghan /did/ look good with it on, but that wasn't for him to say. Just as he was about to relax and fill the other in on why he should leave, he felt the warmth of blood running down his chest. In an instant, Soohyuk cocked his fist back before connecting it with the other's cheek. "You ing ! You almost killed me." Maybe.. it wasn't the best way to get the clan member back but when you're angry.. you're angry. Watching the other stumble around slightly, the rogue tried not to let it get to him. er deserved it. "You're lucky, you know that? If you didn't help be in the beginning like you did? I'd probably of killed you as soon as you dropped your guard." He informed Jeoghan as he wiped up a bit of blood from his throat, as if he'd be able to access the damage done.

@Soohyuk - 0151R Jeonghan paused when he didn't hear the man chasing after him. Turning to see him double back for his bag, then continue his pursuit, he turned tail and continued to run through the bush, jumping over logs and avoiding low branches. When he came out into the clearing, he continued to the other side and jumped into a tree with leaves covering every branch. Parting the leaves from his view, so his eyes were the only things to be seen, he watched as the man burst into the clearing after him. His head turning every which way as his eyes searched for him, but it wouldn't be that easy. When his their eyes met for a moment, he thought the man was fooled and he was for a moment, before laughing. It wouldn't be the first time a man laughed at his makeup choice and it wouldn't be the last. It was only when he calmed down and relaxed his threatening pose that Jeonghan recognized him. He'd been so quick to scare off the intruder that he didn't even bother getting a good look at his face, because all outsiders were the enemy. "Soohyuk." He whispered as he dropped from the tree and walked a little further into the clearing. He hasn't seen Soohyun since the war broke out and assumed he'd been captured or wound up dead when he disappeared one day. "I know the makeup is much, so it's hard to see my face, but it's me Soohyuk, Jeonghan." He said as he pulled his hair from his face and stood in front of his old comrade.

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 Just as he was about to chase after the other, Soohyuk groaned and stopped in his tracks. "ing coward!" He yelled out, turning to jog back and grab his backpack. There was no way he could live without it, and with how the man was running, he wanted to be followed. So there was no need in wasting too much energy in catching him. It wasn't the first time he was lured away from a clan by one of it's members. Slinging the pack over his shoulder, the rogue quickly took off in the direction the other fled. With how much noise that was being made, it was easy to track down who he was chasing after. "You can run, but you can't hide!" Soohyuk snarled, only to pause when found himself in a clearing. His eyes flickered from tree to tree, searching for something that looked even remotely human. Trees. Bushes. Deer. Birds... bird? Titling his head slightly, he narrowed his eyes and took a closer look at the bright colors before realizing it wasn't the bright and bold plumage of a bird. No, it was a human with some.. rather interesting decor on his face. "Are you serious?" He scoffed before letting out a quick laugh, only to pause when his eyes trained on the face as a whole. "Whoa whoa.. what's your name, kid?" The tall rogue asked while inching closer, his hands down at his sides. While it was a full sign of cooperation.. it wasn't a threatening pose either.

@Soohyuk - 0151R Another day, another day of duty. Jeonghan was the clan leader of the Tree People, but he didn't use it as an excuse to be lazy. More so it was an opportunity to further protect his people. He sat at his handmade dressing table with a mirror his people found on a supply run awhile back. On the table was an assortment of homemade makeup he used to disguise himself. He made the mistake of showing his bare face to the enemy once and it almost cost him is life, so it was better to hide his face then for the same mistake to happen. Dusting his cheeks with orange and his forehead with light blue, he colored in his lids with black and outlined them with pink and yellow, before sticking yellow, blue, green, and pink feathers on his eyes lashes he was ready for the day. This particular look was his everyday, he never left home without it appearance.

Grabbing his bow and quiver stalked full of colorful arrows, he left his tree home and climbed down the rope ladder right outside his door to the bridge underneath and taking another ladder down to the ground floor. He made his way to the den his seconds in command sat in discussing the needs of the clan. He quickly announced he was going on watch duty, before leaving to the outskirts of his territory. There were seven post in all around their homes, but Jeonghan felt it was his responsibility to do more, so he went further out to stop potential threats from getting too close. Once he was far enough, he climbed up a tree, before settling on the second branch up. It was far enough off the ground to protect him from danger, but low enough for him to jump if he had to and not hurt himself. Pulling his bow out and arming it with an arrow, he aimed out into the forest, ears listening for the slightest sound of human footsteps. He stood on his perch for awhile, before he heard footsteps and aimed his bow accordingly. Once the man came into his sights, he released his arrow. It sailed through the air, grazing his neck and making him bleed, before embedding into a tree. "." He whispered when the man charged him. Usually men stop walking and hold their hands out in surrender, but that isn't the case right now. Jumping down from his perch, he ran further out into the forest. He had to get the man away from his people at all cost, especially since he's the violent type.

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 Nothing calmed him more then the quiet forest, and the fog that seemed to fill it day in and day out. If he wasn't so proud, he'd probably admit how it was a bit eerie and sometimes got the best of his nerves. Nonetheless, Soohyuk wove in and out between the tall, thin trees while wondering just outside of some clans territory. He'd heard about the leader of this particular clan.. and the name sounded somewhat familiar. Alas, it wasn't anything that truly peaked his interest. Though.. the amount of food they were said to have did.

Spotting a rather thick tree about a quarter of a mile away, the rogue set on to use it as a vantage point. It'd give me all the view he needed to figure out where the stash of goodies was and the best way to get to it. Strategy is probably the only thing that kept him alive, which is why it was never a good idea to rush it. Since he was a little too far to be seen as a threat from any dwellers of the clan, Soohyuk didn't really have his guard up as he hurried towards his destination. Yet just as he took a step forward, he heard a distinct whistle in the air that caused him to stop in his tracks. Just as the heel of his boot was planted in the soil, he felt a brush of wind near his throat. "Oh --" He whispered, thinking it was all over as he leaned forward. Yet instead of feeling blood gush from his jugular, Soohyuk looked down to see an arrow stuck firmly in the tree. Snarling softly, he turned his head to the side and narrowed his eyes. Just looking for a target to attack. As soon as his eyes landed on a man, holding a bow and arrow it was on. "Hey er!" He called out, stripping his backpack off his shoulder's without hesitance as he bolted towards the figure at full force.
