@jeon jungkook When the man didn't seem interested in the food she offered up, she quietly put the spoon back in its place before her eyes found the bouquet resting in her lap again, a small smile on her face as she fell into a not so comfortable silence with the male. Hojung wondered what was troubling him, to be so out of it and even more pensive than he had been in the past around her.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea, Jungkook. We could try grow all the flowers you'll have gotten me in bouquets, starting with the gazania and now these roses. Did you know gazania represent richness due to their colour? And roses... roses tend to mean love, but differs depending on the colours." she murmured, wondering if it was love formed and still what she felt growing between them.
Looking up as Jungkook shrugged, the model frowned at the words he'd put into a question, confused as he wondered how someone, and he of all people, could even question his worth when it came to being "enough". Hojung wondered if perhaps he had muddled his words once more but she didn't mind, she'd be reassuring him either way and in no time at all.
"If you mean in terms of being worthy of me... Yes, yes you're enough for me, Jungkook. I've been around a lot of guys and girls in my career already, and i know we're young but... we're not children. Are we? I know what you make me feel, isn't and can't be done by someone else. Its you that keeps me up at night as I wonder if you're okay, its you I'd like to hold hands with walking down the beach, it's you I'd want to cuddle with to sleep... No one else, just /you/."
With the emphasis on her last word, the woman held her hand out for the idol, taking one of his hands from his lap and linking their fingers together before murmuring.
"I want to be with you. Not someone else."
@lee changsun Kook happily gave the flowers to the other, glad that she accepted them. He was nervous she would dislike them; he was a paranoid man, young and in love, wanting everything to be perfect made him like this. Apprehensive, yes, but he hoped to grow out of it soon, and grow with Hojung along the way. The smile only widened into a brighter one when she relished in the scent of his offering, and he let out an exhale of breath Kook didn't know he was holding in.
He was curious to ask her if the other ones she had were still alive, and he hoped to one day fill her room with so many flowers she wouldn't know what to do with them. “Maybe we should grow a garden of flowers one day,” he whispered, mostly to himself, but the boy was close enough that the other must have heard; he knew she has amazing sense of hearing. “Do you want to?”
At the question, innocent in nature but triggering, he shrugged his shoulders, hands finding their way into his lap, shoulders getting shrugged. His smile faded away, not knowing how to word things, but he gave it a shot. “Do you think I'm not enough?” Ah, no, that wasn't really what he meant, but then again, his thoughts were rarely organized and words often jumbled, so he said something simple to save himself the embarrassment.
@jeon jungkook Feeling the young man pull his lips from her own, Hojung felt a surge of loss but was reminded how much such a simple gesture meant and how much of a challenge it must have been for the man now sitting so close he may as well have been on top of her. The coos and murmurs went unnoticed by the model as all she could see was the gorgeous man in front of her still, a small smile etched onto her lips when he offered her the sorbet on the spoon, parting her lips with a chime of the 'ah' he'd asked for, taking in the cold treat and eating it with much more exuberance then last time, the food picking back up that taste she remembered it to have had before. Looking at the roses in Jungkook's hands, the slightly elder of the two reached out and took it from his hold, bringing the blooms to her petite nose and smelling the pretty scent these flowers had to offer this time.
She wondered if flowers constantly reminded the idol of her, and if they did she'd be more than happy with that, there were worse things to be likened to and beautiful flowers - often containing different meanings, were not one of them. That didn't matter right now, especially when Hojung could see a troubled look clouding the man's features, her lips parting to allow for her to speak.
"Is something worrying you? You know, you can ask me anything." Offering up her own spoonful of the food to his lips, the bouquet resting against her lap, everything seemed to be right with the world then, as she was spending it with her favourite person in the world.
@lee changsun He soon parted from her with a soft sigh, it not being his wish, but they both needed to breathe, so he grabbed a chair and took a seat next to her, almost impossibly so. Some people's eyes darted their way, some cooing at how adorable the two, what seemed to be couple to them, were. His own eyes glanced down to the sweet treat, wondering if he should get his own soon and say awhile. With slightly one hand slightly shaking, he picked up the spoon and dipped the metal in her sorbet, lifting it to your lips for another bite.
Hojung was so beautiful. He wished he could put it into words how he felt, but they failed him. No one ever made him feel like this, no one ever made his heart race, his tongue get twisted; no one made his hands shake or his knees cave in. No one ever made him speechless. That was... Until he met Hojung. He makes her want to get out and do things. Explore the world, really. And, in due time, hopefully they will.
"Noona, say 'ah'" he grinned and slipped the spoon inside , wondering himself what it tasted like. Probably not as amazing as his crush, of course.
A bothersome thought struck his head, wondering why they never did finish their date. He spoke of his concern, asking if he did something wrong, or perhaps if there was something that she wasn't feeling up to at the moment. It could be nothing, but Kook, being as insecure as he is, had to know if things were his fault, and how he could fix them.
@jeon jungkook A sound from the counter made the young woman raise her head and look over from the scenery outside, tilting her head when she saw it was just one of the workers fiddling with the mechanics that seemed to be bugging him, a small smile on her lips. Hojung felt guilty for not eating a little of the sorbet in front of her by now, lifting the silver spoon that rested atop the napkin and wrapping her lips around the cool metal, sighing gently as she tasted the sorbet and smiled a little. She wanted to tell Jungkook about how she thought he'd like it if he would just try it but she paused, remembering the man was just a call away but then she felt guilty, he was busy, busier than her and it showed when the silence had settled between them and their relationship.
When the explosion of flavours dulled on her pallet and the world seemed to return to being a darker existence once again, the young female propped the spoon in the dessert dish and left it where it was, sighing to herself quietly once again as her orbs naturally drifted to the welcoming gaze of the street outside. The sound of the bell ringing above the door caused her head to turn once more though, not having seen the customer approach from the side of the street she'd been watching, adding to the surprise when it was no other than Jungkook in front of her very eyes. Her hazel eyes widened when their noses brushed against one another's after the shared secret on his part, her hart thumping softly nestled just behind the cage it lived in, but god, did it sing. It sang loud and clear with joy when he kissed her, the roses, the ice cream parlour, the missed days lost between the pair were forgotten with the simple kiss.
It made a slightly younger, more believing Hojung believe that perhaps the world was again the place of happiness and light she'd once thought of as a child.
"Jungkook..." she breathed against his lips, her eyelids which had fallen closed on their own accord now opening to allow for her to see the one person in the world she'd yearned to see, the aching inside of her that dulled to a small pang when he was so close - as if he could heal her.
@lee changsun Jungkook, being a shy man, never did say words such as "I miss you" or "I love you" to just anyone. He kept to himself most of the time, always worried that he'd infringe on other people. He never wanted to be a burden, but that fear grew, and so he found himself always in his dorm, sad and alone, the members worried since he hasn't been on top of things. His heart broke slightly. A few days passed and his crush didn't text or call. Nothing of the sort, and he felt a pang of guilt in his heart for not being the one who ever texts first. He realized that he had to man up, now. A certain beautiful woman was the light of his life, and he didn't want to lose it, but he never fought to keep something, either. It was time, he thought, to bring up the courage and fight for what he wants. And what he wants is to be happy, and that means hojung must be in the equation, no matter what. He wanted to make the other happy, too. He just hoped it would mean her being by his side that makes her frown turn upside down.
Taking a quick shower and getting dressed, he ran out the door, his shirts buttons mismatched so he threw a coat on, rushing to an ice cream place he knows she loved to be. He halted at the door, shaking his head, rushing to the florist a few blocks away. Hojung had seemed to like his gift of flowers the last time, so he brought her a different bouquet, roses, this time, to show her how much she means to him.
Sliding inside the shop, he saw a familiar face, smile stretching wide, heart pounding, palms sweating. He felt like his knees were going to cave in. Jungkook held his breath and took long, slow strides to her, the flowers presented as a sort of apology, not feeling like he was deserving of her love, knowing she could do better, but also the flowers held a hushed promise that he will do better in the future to make her feel safe and loved.
"I miss you, Hojung," he muttered, leaning forward so their noses brushed together. God, did he miss her. He felt like a tear was going to fall from the corner of his chocolate orbs, but he leaned forward and captured her lips with his. Bold used to not be his middle name, but he thinks it's time for a change.
@jeon jungkook The bell above the door jingled and signalled the young woman's entrance, her nimble fingers pulling the earphone out from her little ears as her sun-kissed waves tumbled down in unruly tendrils from the ponytail she'd tied the locks up into. Bowing her head to the workers who were becoming increasingly familiar with the pretty patron, Hojung made her way to the usual place she sat, a serving of dark chocolate, mango and raspberry sorbet brought over to her as it had become her same order. Thanking the man before he left her alone with just the pop music coming from the speakers, the model looked outside the glass window/wall and wondered about many a thing, she thought about how nice it'd be to bring Jungkook here and share with him what had quickly become her favourite desserts, how the place always drifted in with it the salty scent of the beach she'd walk or sometimes run along - even swim on some occasions.
She thought she heard him say "I miss you" at some point, his voice becoming more like the sound of breezes passing by. She didn't know why she'd left him last time at the amusement park but she felt like she had to leave, perhaps a feeling of foreboding or something else eating at her. She didn't know. What Hojung did know was how she'd gone, grateful for the idol's busy schedule so he couldn't visit her so often or even text. The food in front of her was suddenly unappetising. Sighing quietly, the young woman resting her chin in her palm as her elbow was propped against the table, earphones tucked into the pockets of her shorts whilst her billowy blouse tucked into the hem caught the slight breezes that would pass.
