@kim taehyung Hailee could feel the bubbling excitement inside her, once she had heard the assignment, loud and clear, for her Film class, which enabled her to smile from ear to ear while walking out of the classroom to head towards her last class for the day. The students will have to do a short documentary on any student in Solace, following the exact requirements that their teacher had asked — a few being the time limit of 20-30 minutes, the student's background, their lifestyle before enrolling into the university and their overall opinion about the university. She had a few students in mind, and couldn't stop thinking about the assignment, even in her next class, her focus disappearing into thin air.
Films have always played a big part in her life, due to the fact that she has watched, observed and reviewed films in almost every genre, back at home. Besides from acting, directing is also a passion of hers, her probably having the opportunity to work with the biggest movie stars and having the need to immerse in the environment of a filming set someday. Seeing the behind-the-scenes cuts from films have sparked an interest inside her... right now, she just had to find the most suitable candidate for her short documentary and finally, she had settled on one by the end of class. The delicious food served at the cafeteria, had to wait for awhile, because the assignment was a bigger priority for her and she had no idea where to find this student called Kim Taehyung.
She had seen him a few times around the university area, mostly between classes in the hallways, and was intrigued by his demanour. There was a mystery to be cracked, sooner or later, if he were to open up, but she had known that process wouldn't be easy. For the sake of her assignment, she had to approach him, no matter what the latter would think of her personality, and deal with him during the whole filming process, even if his personality might drive her nuts. The sunny weather didn't bother Hailee, even one bit, the golden rays of sunlight shining brightly, as summer had rolled in as she walked around the university to find Taehyung, also asking a few where was he prominently seen, especially after classes.
Moments after, she found Taehyung in the garden, his features being recognizable to the freshman. She gulped her saliva inside , trying her best to hide her nervousness and totally hoping to /not/ end up being a nervous wreck. Note to self: she definitely needed to work on her confidence and self-esteem. Her thoughts cleared and body posture straightened, she plastered a warm smile on her facial features, her head tilted to the side as she greeted in a natural yet friendly tone,
"Good afternoon... You are Mr. Kim Taehyung, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong."
@kwon nara ( I'm sorry for the late reply! I finally got my muse back. )
Her mind in an utter mess as she decided on what to actually say, Hailee was speechless for a moment, her eyes then catching a quick glimpse at Nara's notebook. She tried hard to hold back her surprise, a bunch of memories hitting her like a wave — especially the event, where the photo was taken. It was their last sleepover, before everything fell apart, and they were still the best of friends back then, having a great time with each other. Happiness was indeed evident in the atmosphere that time. Relationships with human beings could change anytime... including her and Nara's friendship, which went downhill.
Rumours were everywhere, due to their close friendship being known by a majority of the school. The situation just drifted them apart even more. Now, she knew she had to push her personal problems away and act professional, putting a natural expression on her face. She had a play that will be starting soon enough, needing a background character – her ex-friend being the most suitable replacement in her eyes, which means this had to be done in an instant. She inhaled and exhaled, not to let the overwhelming pressure get to her as she finally had the courage to look into Nara's eyes and go straight to the point in her greeting,
"Hi. I'm sorry for bothering your evening, but the play that our university's hosting, is going to start soon. We need a background character and I think you suit the role. Are you interested in joining us?"
She had no time to waste, hitching her breath for a second and her heart praying that Nara would say 'yes' and help, at least, for the sake of the university. As far as Hailee knew, there will be a number of important people attending to see the play, due to the University of Solace's popular reputation in the country. She wanted this play to work out so badly, and only her ex-friend could help for the time being.
