@Skye Nodding a bit at the question, Jagger smiles softly and rubbed at his eyes. He hadn't realized how attached to him Skye seemed to have become, but it wouldn't really matter in the end, since he was already beginning to look up to her as motherly figure. Even if she seemed very young, she showed him the same daringness, and he appreciated it. He didn't have to feel like he didn't have a mom if she was okay with it.
Deciding to take a chance, and hope he didn't get yelled at, Jagger looked Skye in the eyes with an awkwardness but sincereness and a hopefulness that he wouldn't be yelled at. "C-can I call you mom...?" He spoke quietly before looking down embarrassed.
(ITS FINE I'M SORRY MY REPLY WAS LATE TOO S O B S)
@Jagger "Are you tired, sweet cub?" Skye asked in a soft purr. Little Cubs needed their rest. Little sweet cubs like this one need to be shown how to...how to... With every second with those thoughts, she could feel the anger bubbling up within her, like how her mother Jaguar would have describe how anger for their cub would feel. Skye furrowed her eyebrows together and tried to shake herself out of that mindset. She..couldn't....shouldn't be too difficult to the scientists -captors- her mind snarled angrily.
He...was not her cub. -But he could be.- her mind added in sinfully. He was not her cub, but he was /hers/. Like how she had dubbed those two scientists -Mo and Kit- as /hers/. Skye moved her head slightly and nuzzled his hair, her eyes half lidded and dark with protectiveness.
@Jagger "You are very welcme," Kit said and smiled warmly. The other was really adorable.
"Sleep well, Jagger. See you tomorrow."
He waved at the other and then made his way out, slowly but surely.
He would definitely teach Jagger tomorrow, he really needed and wanted to.
Hopefully Jagger wanted to as well.
@Kit Jagger just smiled and nodded now, feeling too tired to think of a sentence and speak on his own. He was extremely happy, knowing that there was a chance Mysh could come with them if they went outside again. And he was extremely excited to learn the next day. When they made it back to the cell, Jagger nodded and smiled getting down from Kit's back before going back inside his cell and setting the flowers somewhere safe. "Thank you for this night..." It was the one thing he could think to say before setting the flowers somewhere safe and closing his eyes, laying down.
@Jagger "That is very good," Kit said and smiled, feeling how tired they both must be.
"Maybe next time I can take Mysh with us too. But he needs to trust me."
He smiled softly and then brought Jagger back to his cell.
"Here we are."
@Kit Jagger nodded a bit smiling softly and tiredly. They are beautiful and they smell amazing~" he grinned, obviously happy with that night, but he was tired after being so active for such a long amount of time. "Thank you~ I'll sleep right when we get to my cell." The hybrid nodded once with a tired but happy and content smile.
@Jagger "I sadly do not know too much about flowers. But they are beautiful and smell very nicely."
Kit smiled at Jae and went down the stairs, closing the door quietly.
"Yes. Tomorrow you can learn." That would do them both very good.
"But tonight you need to rest."
@Kit Jagger held the flowers in his hands happily making sure he stayed on Kit's back. He felt safe, strangely. That was a feeling he hadn't ever felt before. "I like them... I feel like I relate to them for some reason..." He smiled softly and nodded a bit at his explanation. "So I can learn tomorrow?" Jagger asked completely filled with joy.
@Jagger Kit got them for Jagger and held them up for the hybrid to take.
"They are beautiful," he said and looked softly at the other before he started to walk, making sure the other was securely on his back.
Being out here today had been a good choice, especially with such a cute and sweet company.
It was nice to watch Jagger and it made him feel a lot better.
Carefully he climbed the stairs down.
@Kit "isn't it best not to make a wish at all the...?" Jagger spoke before listening to the second part of what Kit was saying, nodding at that point. "I guess that is a better idea..." His voice was small, as if he was lost in thought, before looking up once again. "Okay-" Before getting onto Kit's back, Jagger nodded eagerly and chose three different flowers. He chose them, because he felt that he related to them each in a way. An Iris, a lemon blossom, and a white lilac. When he pointed to them he smiled brightly at Kit.
@Jagger A soft sigh left Kit's lips and he nodded.
"I know. Many wishes... Do not come true." He smiled sadly and shrugged. He knew how it felt to have a world crushed but he did not want to burden the sweet hybrid with it.
"That is why I wish for small things. Like... Having a nice dream or a good meal or something. Small things."
He looked softly at him and ruffled the hybrid's hair. The purr was so nice.
"Get on my back, right? I will carry you back."
He then smiled warmly. "Do you want to take a few flowers with you?"
So that Jagger knew it had not only been a dream.
@Kit A nod of the head was enough for Jagger to reply with, but he spoke with words too. "But believing in something can bring pain too... Like believing that your day may be better than the day before and then it not being... Or if someone makes a wish, and that wish means a lot to that person but it doesn't come true... If the opposite of that wish comes true... That persons world would be crushed, even if it isn't much of a world..." He smiles softly and shrugged. Jagger leaned into Kit's touch and purred quietly, feeling happy. "Yea, probably...Thank you"
"Then it is still nice to have something to believe in, right?" Kit said and smiled softly poked the other's cheek. "As a child I loved making wishes." But he had stopped quite a while ago - things had changed.
Kit softly d the other's hair.
"Maybe we should go back in. Don't worry, we will be able to go here again."
"So I should believe in them? I want to but... What if they don't come true...?" Jagger looked over to Kit, taking his tail and hugging it to his chest as he looked at the other. Everything was new to him. Everything was beautiful. "I'm getting tired..." Jagger rubbed at his eyes before hugging his tail again and looking up.
@Jagger For a long moment he hesitated but then shrugged.
"On good days I do. On bad days I don't. Today is a good day," Kit said and smiled slightly. "So today I believe in it." He hummed and looked at Jagger.
"I think it is a nice. To be able to believe into something."
@Kit Jagger looked at the shooting star and listened to Kit's words. It was amazing. The star moved, while the rest of them stayed in place. Jagger thought that it was absolutely beautiful. "Do you believe it?" He looked at Kit with curious eyes. 'If Kit believes it, then I will.' Those were his thoughts. He looked up to Kit now, even if they hadn't met very long before.
@Jagger Seeing how excited and happy Jagger was made Kit smile - he liked that a lot. It had been a good choice to choose the little amount of sleep he'd get later and instead get the hybrid and go out. It was nice here, beautiful. And he could even spot a few shooting stars.
"Whenever you see one of these," he said after pointing at a shooting star, "you can wish for something. They say the wish will come true then."
@Kit Jagger nodded eagerly. He was excited. He was going to learn! Even if it was just writing, that was a lot for him, and it made him happy. "Yea, I like the stars~" Jagger spoke with a voice full of admiration as he looked to the sky with a bright smile. It was amazing. He had seen the sky and the stars for the first time ever. And he met someone who had shown him this, also being willing to teach him how to write. He felt a joy that he hadn't known before. And he loved it.
@Jagger It was so nice to hear the other's voice like this. It touched Kit somehow and it made him feel warm inside.
"We can start tomorrow if you want to?" Maybe he would find a way to make get the scientist to let him talk to Jagger more and teach him things. He was sure that it would do the boy very well.
"But not today anymore, today we can enjoy the stars, right?"
He looked softly at the other.
@Kit "Thank you so much!" Jagger spoke with such a happy, grateful tone in his voice. It was the perfect tone to show how excited he was. He felt more comfortable around Kit now, than he thought he would feel around someone ever. Well, someone that wasn't Mysh that is. He wanted so badly to learn, and being given the chance to know how to write, and being taught by someone who didn't seem like would hurt Jagger, was the greatest thing he could ever imagine. It felt too good to be true.
@Jagger "Yes," Kit said and smiled softly at Jagger. "I wouldn't offer it to you anyways."
Of course Jagger could not know him, he still had to get used to him anyways. It would take him a while to trust him fully but Kit knew it was the same for Jagger. "If you want to, of course."
@Kit Jagger nodded a bit at this, a small smile making its way to his face. "You would really teach me?" He asked, a look of excitement on his eyes. It was something he really wanted to learn. To write. It would give him the ability to let out his feelings on paper without screaming or crying and letting people know he was vulnerable.
@Jagger "I won't get in trouble. I am offering it to you because I want to teach you." Kit looked softly at Jagger. "I rarely get in trouble. Guess they are trying to make it up to me." To him and Mo, if there was any way to make it up to them - that they lost their family.
"So don't worry, okay?"
He softly ruffled the other's hair and smiled.
@Kit "I-" Jagger sighed feeling bad. "I want to learn how to, but you really don't need to teach me how to... I don't want you to get in trouble and it be my fault... or your fault... you don't seem like you deserve to get in trouble at all..." his voice was quiet and caring. It was true, he didn't want anyone to get in trouble because of him. He didn't feel that anyone deserved to get in trouble unless they actually did something wrong.
@Jagger "Maybe I can teach you," Kit offered softly. Just maybe not in the catacombs or labs, this made him nervous. But they might possibly find another way, right?
"If you want to, that is," he added and looked softly at the hybrid. He was so sweet and nice and it made Kit feel good and relax some more.
@Kit Jagger laughed happily. "Oh wow, really~? I'm so proud of myself~!!!" He squealed happily, but quietly. He smiled and looked at Kit as he patted his head. Jagger enjoyed this. Kit didn't give him any dirty looks, and that made him happy. "I can't write, but I want to learn how to." He wanted to learn a lot. Everything he would say, even if it wasn't possible for him to learn everything.
@Jagger "Yeah, exactly," Kit nodded and smiled softly. "One hundred fifty is quite a lot already!" He patted the other's head. Jagger's hair was soft and it felt nice to touch it but Kit was careful to not get too close. There was still a bubbling fear inside him, maybe that would never really disappear. Jagger was so sweet but the memory of what had happened back then was still so vivid, Kit hated it.
"Can you write?"
@Kit Jagger just nodded. He was upset about both of their situations. Why should one be forced to do something or stay somewhere? It just didn't make sense to him. At the explanation of mathematics Jagger nodded a bit. He understood, sort of now. "Oh... so it's what you do with numbers that's more complex than counting? I only know how to count to one hundred fifty." He nodded once with a proud smile because at least he knew something.
@Jagger "Being used to it doesnt mean it is okay," Kit said softly and blinked, tilting his head. "I don't know. I mean... I can wander around here but... it still is like being caged." He shrugged a bit. "Just that I have more space." He smiled slightly and looked at Jagger. They weren't that different.
"Mathematics? Oh... do you know numbers? Putting them together. Or... taking them apart. Kind of." Kit chuckled softly. That was not really a good explanation but he really tried.
@Kit Jagger shook his head and sighed. "Please don't feel sorry for me... I've lived like this my entire life, I'm used to it..." he rubbed at his eyes as he looked back to Kit, his tears finally completely gone. "What's it like, not being stuck in cells?" It was another question he had always wanted to know the answer to. "And 'mathematics'... what's that?" he was curious and just wanted to know. He had heard the word 'mathematics' but he never understood what it was, and he wanted to know.
