@Mysh Jagger couldn't help but to smile just a little bit, as Mysh hugged him from behind. He trusted Mysh, and knew that Mysh wouldn't hurt him either. "I'm fine, I think..." Jagger spoke quietly. He frowned when Mysh let go of him, but knew it was for the best. He didn't want Mysh to get hurt, and he didn't want to be in pain again.
Food was thrown carelessly into his cell, and Jagger just stared at it for a moment. He was hungry, but he had no desire to eat. Well, no desire to eat until Mysh told him to. Jagger hadn't realized it for himself, but he would do pretty much anything for Mysh. Mysh had always been there for him, and he felt that he should do as Mysh wants, to make him happy.
He moved to the food, and picked it up, eating it, as Mysh said. He would glance at the other every once in a while, and smile slightly. "Thank you, Mysh..." Jagger spoke up, but not loud enough for people to hear if they were walking by the cells area.
@Jagger When the latter finally reacted, Mysh could feel a stone fall from his heart. He closed his eyes and exhaled shakingly, his cold breath filling the air for the blink of an eye, and then dusting off into nowhere. Pushing his arms through the bars, he hugged Jagger from behind, feeling his soft hair against his forehead.
"Are you alright?" Mysh asked with a low voice, hoping to give Jagger at least a little bit of strength. He tried to be calm: Jagger was alive, and that was all that counted. Every internal and external wound would heal, he knew.
The front doors were opened again, and Mysh let go off Jagger, knowing that they weren't allowed to physical contact. They opened Jagger's cell again, and it sounded like they supplied him with water and food. Once they were gone, Mysh rushed to the bars, touched Jagger's shoulder and lightly shook him. "They brought you food. Go eat!" He demanded, hoping he'd get better real quick.
@Mysh Jagger had been taken out of his cell for experimenting close to three hours earlier when he was trying to sleep. The experiments that had been performed on him were worse than past experiments and left him in pain. He was very confused with the experiments that were performed as they were much different from the past experiments as well.
When Jagger was thrown back into his cell carelessly he just lied there for a few moments, trying to regain his vision and hearing. His hearing came back in only a moment to hear Mysh screaming his name causing his eyes to shoot open as he regained his vision and sat upright.
"M-Mysh!!!" Jagger crawled towards the bars that separated them in their cells and just sat leaning against them.
@Jagger He had no sense of time. He could hear grunting and from the other cells, while hanging from a pipe and trying not to contemplate his life. The cell next to his had been empty when he woke up, so he had assumed that his neighbor was out for some experiments or check-ups; and if he wasn't there, Mysh felt even lonelier than with him there. Having Jagger's company was nice, he had somebody to talk, but that wasn't enough. He still was lonely, and going nuts inside of this small cell.
Time passed, and the grunting and didn't stop. His inner clock- and stomach- told him it was feeding time, and it was confirmed by the opening of the heavy front door. But instead of food, his neighbor was brought back, and from the sound of it, carelessly thrown into the cell.
"Jagger?" Mysh spread his wings and jumped to the ground, landing smoothly and silently. "Jagger, are you okay? What did they do to you?" It wasn't unusual for them to be picked up for experiments, but sometimes it was worse than other times. Sometimes, all they did was shower them and take some blood, but other times, they cabled them to some monitors and ran electricity through their bodies, without ever telling them why. It was agonizing, and Mysh hated it when they did it.
Because he didn't receive an answer, he crouched down and crawled towards the bars, clinging onto them. "Jagger?" Panic arose in Mysh, and the tried shaking the bars. "Jagger!?"
