@Jang Hyuk As he was walking down the road parallel to one of the most famed piers in the world Hyuk's mind was wandering in circles around one, rather dicey idea of his. He has had the thought ringing in his ears for a couple of days, as he's spent hours meditating over whether the whole venture was worth the solicit that he had before him; the worst point - that he was still too optimistic about - was the matter of fact that everything might end up in the act of one great disappointment. Like almost everything that happened in his life for the last couple of years the issue troubling him was associated with his not-so-glorious way to earn money for his daily bread - on the other hand, what could a man like him, presumably a stiff corpse, already dead for several years, do else than be someone along the lines of a doorkeeper to the feared, life-ending part of people's existences? A smirk lit up his gloomy expression as his mind wandered to a mariginal inside joke of his own, about how his code name should be something like "grim reaper".
His feet involuntarily dictated the way as he was now walking down one of the endless streets in Santa Monica, his eyes looking out for the familiar facade of a bakery he was heading to quite often - it wasn't like he developed some kind of adoration for pastry or breads, but the mere fact that he knew the owner of the cozy shop. Despite the early morning hour, the former lieutenant was certain that the tiny store was still closed, yet the owner already inside, putting his wares of the day on display and as in most of the cases his gut feeling was right. As he approached the glass door with an opening hours sign fastened to it, he shot a quick glance through it, seeking for his friend to be bustling behind the counter. Not being able to spot him, Hyuk knocked at the door a few times, maybe a little bit to hard, yet he didn't want to be misheard. Few seconds later a tall, muscular silhouette appeared in front of the door, opening it with a simultaneous greeting on his lips. The ex-lieutenant hugged him lightly, patting his shoulders before verting his eyes and tensing up, as the moment he was anticipating and both being apprehensive about was eventually there, right in front of him and he didn't want to lose his chance of having a companion to the hazardous errand he has taken on.
"Thought I'll pay you a visit, haven't seen you for a while." Hyuk said, grinning at the older, taller male before walking up to the counter and leaning onto it with his hip.
