@♦ Kwon Jiyong (G-Dragon) Namjoon folds his hands under his chin once he finished signing all the books. Listening to the other, he hums softly, "if you noticed, all the signs were there since the third chapter that something was going to happen between the couple." he says, amused by the excitement from the other. Giving a soft hum, and how the other came up with death of the protagonist being a metaphor, he finds that interesting. "So, in the sequel, do you think Kwangjoo is alive or dead? If he is truly dead, who do you think the protagonist is going to revolve around since not every protagonist is the hero of a story, and if that is the case are you sure Kwangjoo was even the protagonist in the first place?" he asks, wanting to see if the younger thought of these situations.
@♦ Kim Namjoon (Rap Monster) “At first I thought the end was so surprising, who would expect the protagonist would be killed by his girlfriend?”, he asked in an excited, loud tone. Even his friend that was a fan of the book couldn’t stand Jiyong talking about his crazy theories anymore, so now he had the opportunity to talk to the writer and find out whether he was right or not, and that was amazing to him. “But the second time I read I noticed that you left small clues since the beginning”, he continued, before being interrupted by Namjoon leaving his position. Just when he was getting to the best part…
As soon as the novelist sat on his chair again, Ji retrieved his excitation and didn’t hesitate before resuming his talk. “And then I decided to read again not to let any clues slip, but I also came to the conclusion that maybe his death was only a metaphor to the end of their relationship, which he cherished as much as his life. The fourth and fifth times were just to make sure.” His explanation ended with a smile of proudness. Maybe one of the reasons for him to read the book so many times was that he felt intelligent every time he found a new piece to sustain his theories, and he wasn’t exactly the kind of guy that was known as smart.
@♦ Kwon Jiyong (G-Dragon) Namjoon listens and occasionally watches the other from the corner of his eye. He doesn't seem the type that is an avid reader like many of his fans but he isn't one to make full assumptions either. Listening to the other talk, Namjoon chuckles softly, finishing the first stack of the book, taking a momentary break to rest his hand. He doesn't need to get carpal tunnel. "So what did you discover then?" he asks him, intrigued by his words.
Behind the man, Namjoon begins hearing a commotion between people and staff, most likely getting upset that all the copies of his book have been bought. Of course he knows that a good portion of them already brought their own books. "I'll be right back." he says standing up to go to his manager. Giving the manager directions on how to soothe the crowd. Going back to his seat he smiles softly, "sorry about that." he says, placing his hands under his chin. "You were saying?" he asks him to continue on with the theories of his story.
@♦ Kim Namjoon (Rap Monster) Jiyong wasn't the kind of person who reads a new book every week, to say the truth he hardly ever read one. However, as for any other aspect of his life, when he enjoyed a book, he would get obsessed about it. He got Namjoon’s piece as a gift from a friend who was already a fan of the writer, and couldn't stop reading it. He used all his free time for two of three days, getting excited from the first letter to the last dot of the piece.
When he found out that the author of his beloved book was about to hold a signing tour, Ji immediately decided he would go and not only get an autograph, but also Namjoon's attention all for himself. Of course that was very egoistic of him, but he couldn't care less. He was used to getting all he wanted and that time it wouldn't be any different.
A few hours before the signing session, Jiyong made his butler call the bookstore and buy all remaining volumes using his credit card. The time was strategically chosen, so there wouldn't be enough time for them to restock. When the time had finally come, the number one fan headed to the store, exhaling confidence as he stated to the salesperson that he was the one who bought all the books. Then, he headed to the table where Namjoon was signing while the employee carried a big box full of books behind him. “I do. I’ve already read it five times”, he replied with a broad smile. “When I finished I felt so sad that I decided to read again. Then I started noticing the hidden metaphors behind it and couldn't help reading again until I thought I had everything figured out”, Jiyong said like he was a specialist in literature, even though he didn't study anything about it after graduating from school. The salesperson started placing the books on the table for the author to sign while the fan talked.
@♦ Kwon Jiyong (G-Dragon) Namjoon was at the bookstore in the local mall, it has been about a month since his newest book has been released so he is now on tour doing signings and readings. His first stop was the said mall. It always surprises the author just how many people always come to these events and he swears the numbers get bigger and bigger. Despite being in the age of technology when he has alarming sale numbers across multiple platforms such as Amazon Kindle, but his physical sales are impressive as well.
Namjoon has taken a break from signing the autographs to grab some lunch. Siting next to him where his tour manager and editor, his manager reminding Namjoon of his schedule for the remainder of the day, but toned him out when his editor started going off about someone buying all the remaining copies of the book. Unlike his editor who was annoyed the staff would let such a thing happen, Namjoon found amusement in it and wonders on who the fan is.
Walking back to the store after his meal, he takes his place again at the desk, signing the books, meeting the people and talking about the book. It didn't take long before he realizes who exactly it was that bought all the remaining copies the store had. "Enjoy it that much?" he asks the male when he approaches and begins to sign the books.
Dean will be leaving. I'm sorry I really wanted to rp with you but I didn't have time to be on as often as I wanted. I hope we can still occasionally talk as friends though
