I'm usually not the romantic kind of guy but it always seemed to me like you are, with all the poetry and stuff that I never really understood. So when I invited you over for dinner I decided I wanted to make it perfect, not really for me since I'm more of the simple pizza guy but for you, cause I knew it'll make you smile.
So here I am in the middle of the dining room with candles on the table and what not hoping you won't be too overwhelmed from the whole thing.I walk out of my place wearing a black pair of jeans and a nice t shirt, wondering if I had to go more formal than that and wear a suit, reaching for our meeting spot

I've never been on a date before. I've only read stories of such things. Romanticism has somewhat made a home in my imagination and I'm not sure what to expect from this, if I could picture it at all. I just have to look nice. So I ended up wearing... a T-shirt and faded jeans, because you mentioned something about cooking the meal and nothing about fancy candle-light dinners. Glancing around where you've told me to wait, I fumble with my fingers, insides still jittery and jumpy.*
