@park chaeyoung The young lady walked in, her chest instantly letting loose a breath she didn't knew she was holding until her lungs started hurting. Jungyeon looked around at the far too familiar sight, getting rushes of nostalgia at every turn her head makes. God, she thought to herself, I missed this place. She clutched the green squeaky toy on her hand, the other holding the toy shovel with a tight grip that made her knuckles go white. It took surprising amounts of effort to not burst into tears, and it took even more to gain balance at every wobbly step she made, her heavy breath making it harder for her to concentrate. As much as she loved being an idol, once thing she absolutely loathed was having to hide herself from the world whenever she wanted to go out and just be free, even if just for a day. Jungyeon found herself sitting at an old bench, setting the toy and the shovel just a few inches beside her feet. Her fingers caressed the bench's new wooden seats, a bubble of laughter rising from within her as she recalled having to sit on a seemingly near-rotting slab of wood several years ago. "Those were the good times," She mumbled under her breath, "When Duchess was still around." The mere mention of her deceased 10 year old dog made her voice thick and her nose runny. She'd promised herself that she wouldn't cry, simply because Duchess hates seeing her cry. "I'm sorry bud," She whispered, her eyes lined with silver, "I can't promise a happy day alone with you today." The blonde chuckled, wiping off the tears even before they began to fall. She willed herself to push aside that thought for a little while, her attention going to the dogs and their owners. She instantly smiled at the sight of a little girl, who's pet was almost twice her size. They looked like best friends, and she was almost sure that they'd grown up with each other. Her hand went to the ground slowly, reaching for the small squeaky toy and squishing it in her hands. The sound it produced was majestic, or maybe it was just her missing her dog too much that the things her little best friend liked suddenly became appealing to her, too. Whatever it was, Jungyeon was glad to finally get a chance to meet her first love again. Only, not in the ways she'd wished for.
