"But blueberries are," he says, an indulgent smiling shaping his lips when the wide, comfortingly familiar hands of his partner ghosted along his thighs and hips momentarily before he lightly swatted away the ink stained hand with a soft berate of, "If you eat them all, there won't be any left for the batter." Setting aside the large bowl of dry ingredients, he reached for a smaller one, cracking an egg over the rim as he resumed speaking. "That'll be nice, actually. Malia was a good chef, but her culinary experience cant hold a candle over having someone you love cook for you." Pouring the milk into the bowl, he whisked the mixture with quick, sure . "It's the sort of domestic, idyllic bliss we strive for."

Curious on how things were going he moved sluggishly abandoning the dark island for his lover's side. Leaning over he lodged his chiseled chin into the crook of the his mate's neck and was granted a good view of the powder coated work station. "Maybe one day I'll make you a stack of banana pancakes, would you like that?" Yearning for touch his hands became adventurous, gently trailing over toned thighs and curved hips "Of course they'd easily pale in comparison to the ones made by your personal chef but it's the thought that counts, right?" He asked while plucking blueberries from their plastic carton slowly appeasing his monstrous appetite one cold berry at a time.

He inquired without turning to address his partner directly, a small furrow drawing his brows together as he religiously consulted the directions with each measurement, and wondering if he should call a quits early-on and spare himself the trouble of cooking. "Bananas are good for you - potassium and all that." In the large bowl he sifted together the dry ingredients, a sigh falling from his lips at the mess he'd already begun to make and berating his own shortsightedness. He should have worn an apron. "The cook we had when I was growing up always made me banana pancakes for breakfast - they were sweet."

@✔ ᵒ cole✙s。ᴴ Once his companion proposed to make pancakes from scratch Jin's quick response was based solely on the assumption that Cole had either been paying close attention in culinary class or simply had a hidden talent for food preparation. Needless to say the latter was the more realistic option. Regardless of his lover's culinary know-how the alpha was looking forward to the end result, not only because he had gone all hours of the day without a single bite of food but also because he wanted to waste the rest of the night with the one he cared about most. Sauntering in to the kitchen he took his place next to the island leaning against it with all his weight "No I'm not allergic far as I know and blueberry pancakes sound delicious, much better than banana."

@ᵃ imjin✙o。ᴴ When he'd made the offer to prepare a meal, he had not taken into consideration the fact that he did not have a flare for the culinary art. The most basic recipes were not lost on him - he was not completely hopeless in that regard, and pancakes, by the grace of whatever merciful entity reigned over humanity, had deemed it necessary to make it as least complex as possible. Scrolling through search results on his phone, his brows furrowed and index finger hovers over a link, minutely in consideration. "You're not allergic to blueberries are you?" He calls out to his lover, already gathering the ingredients for the dish and silver bowl. "Because we're having blueberry pancakes."
