@☸ Choi Seungcheol Since arriving on Tradian soil a couple of days prior, Bora had spent the majority of her free time doing her duties. On the first day, she went through the motions of a traditional welcome, sitting through a welcome feast with the other freshly arrived nobles and then socializing with the other women as they all got to know the new queen. On the second, there was another feast, smaller but a feast nonetheless, followed by a seemingly endless number of meetings involving battle strategy, alliance acquisition, and the works. The ongoing war left hardly any time for free time, but the viceroy suo jure woke up on the third day with full plans to take advantage of hers.
She rose early, due to a night terror, a bit before the sunrise which left her to get clothed by mere candlelight. It wasn't all bad, for it allowed her to make the walk to the stables at first light. On her way out, she tried to politely decline the offer of breakfast from one of the kitchen servants but another noble happened upon them and insisted. After a meal that, while enjoyable, lasted far too long she made her way to the stables.
Arriving at the market a little after noon, the sun high in the sky, Bora found that it was familiar and largely unchanged since the last time she'd been in her parent country a little over a year prior. Merchants were already fully active, selling their items or getting tables set up. The town's citizens, and maybe even a few from the village or abroad were milling about, making purchases and idle chit chat. After dismounting her horse and giving him an affectionate pat on the side of his neck, Bora rounded to the horse's other side and retrieved a scroll from the smallest storage bag. She returned to the steed's front and curled the reigns around one hand, gently guiding him along as she began to inquire about her brother, showing his photo to anyone who would take the time to listen.
