@Hwang Woolim Jieun could not help but laughed softly at what Woolim said. The girl did seem to be just like one of her students when they are excited about getting rewarded. "Meat sounds great but don't you want to have anything else? I thought you would mention a whole menu when you said you like everything" Ji-eun tilted her head thinking for a while about what to eat and what to add to the fridge for them to manage their life as roommates. "Well, I like meat so we can have it... But let's have noodles or fried rice with it and the meat we can grill it what do you think?" Ji-eun looked at the fridge before taking closing it and looking around the kitchen while holding a small note and a pen "is there anything you need? There is a lot I think we need"
@Lee Jieun Woolim carefully watches Jieun as the other female starts putting boxes into the fridge one by one. She listens to the other as she speaks and is suddenly caught off guard when asked what she wants to eat. "Let's see...what is my favorite meal....hmm...you know, I actually don't know what I like. Why choose one thing when there are so many choices you could try? Ya know?" Woolim tapped her chin, slightly tilting her head as she looked up, trying to think about what she was currently craving. "I've been craving....meat. THAT'S FOR SURE." she points her finger up matter-of-factly, then brings that hand into her other hand. She changed her pointed finger into a fist as she gently cupped her fist into the palm of her other hand. Her lips pressed together firmly to show her determination, nodding her head. "I would like to eat meat, Jieun." Woolim's determined look turned into a bright grin again as she looked at Jieun. "What about you? What are you craving?"
@Hwang Woolim Jieun was about to answer and tell her what she brought but it seemed like Woolim was already too excited about eating even before giving herself the chance to eat. Chuckling softly after the girl finally stopped talking Jieun got the bag filled with small food containers and walked over to the kitchen and pulled out the boxes one by one. "Let's first arrange these in the fridge. I was thinking that maybe we grill some meat or have fried rice eggs so I brought some." She smiled wondering where she would keep the pack of rice she brought on the way to the house. When she finally put everything in a place she is satisfied wit she turned to look at Woolim curiously tilting her head. "People say my cooking is good so I'm sure we will survive if this is what you want to know. But I would like to know what you want to eat? Is there something you wish to have at the moment? I see that there is nothing much to make a meal so we do need to go shopping."
@Lee Jieun Woolim smiled and nodded, agreeing to what the other said about her parents. "Yeah, I guess they do." At the mention of eating, as if in cue, Woolim's stomach immediately started growling loudly. Woolim's face flushed pink and she awkwardly chuckled. "Actually, right before you came, I was debating what I should eat haha. Shall we go shopping? Are you any good at cooking? What kind of side dishes did you bring? You know at times like this I never really know what to pick. Sometimes I take a long time to choose just what I want to eat or snack on. I think the longest I've taken by myself to decide is probably three hours which is quite a shame because I really love food and if I take so long, I usually don't have enough time to eat and enjoy my food and we all know the most important part is that enjoying your food is the key point to eating, not just to eat!" Woolim unconsciously blabbered on and on, hardly taking a stop to even breath. She let everything out in one breath. A terrible habit of hers, especially when it's something she's excited about. Food, is her most favorite topic.
@Hwang Woolim Ji-eun dragged her bag carefully inside just leaving it by the door that she closed behind her. "it looks really beautiful. You patents surely care for you so much." Ji-eun then glanced at the clock that was hung on the wall and smiled looking at Woolim "it is lunch time. Did you eat? Should we go shopping? If we are going to be roommates we better share the food together. I did bring some side dishes with me." Ji-eun thought that she could break the ice and the awkwardness busy sharing a meal and talking about different things together.
@Lee Jieun "Oh, thank you. The pleasure is all mine." Woolim beamed at the compliment from the other girl. She moved aside for her to come in. "I wish I did this myself heh--though I told them not to, my parents came to visit. My mother was horrified at the lack of furniture and went on a shopping spree." Woolim scratched the back of her head as an act of embarrassment. Meeting her new roommate for the first time and telling her this story, she must already think that Woolim isn't able to take care of herself. Woolim clasped her hands behind her back as she stared at Jieun, awaiting some sort of judgment to come to her.
@Hwang Woolim Chuckling softly Jieun stepped in taking the girl's hand into a gentle handshake before letting go "it is nice to meet you Woolim you have a unique name" she said smiling softly glancing around the house finding it nice "did you decorate the place like that or it was made like that when you moved in? " she asked curiously as she reached for her bag finally dragging it inside
@Lee Jieun "A-Ah, you think so? It... It's not much heh." Woolim blushed slightly at the compliment, settling the pepper spray into her back pants pocket and taking a step towards Jieun. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. It's my fault, entirely! I didn't check my recent messages so I had no idea I was getting a roommate. Please, come in!" Woolim waved Jieun in before taking another step towards her. Woolim put on a bright smile and held her hands out to the other female. "Hello, Jieun. I'm Woolim. It's nice to meet you!"
@Hwang Woolim Ji-eun didn't move as she wasn't ready to be attacked by a pepper spray in her face and also she didn't want to make a scene in the building on her first day in. She slowly took a step back and smiled "I didn't know there was already someone in the house I was told that I will have a roommate but I wasn't told who it would be. I'm sorry if I just got in like that" she said with still a tiny smile on her face not sure about the whole situation. After few moment of awkward silence Ji-eun spoke again. "so... Shall I walk in? Your music taste is really nice"
@Lee Jieun Heck, this girl is cute. Woolim froze as she blankly stared at the person in the room. She still held her grip on her pepper spray tight, however. Woolim had an idea of how this would go. Even if this girl looked innocent, sometimes it's a trap! A trap to be lured in before something bad happens to you! Hell naw. Woolim wasn't falling for this ol' trick in the book. She took careful steps towards the other female, her chest tight and her heart beating fast. Her expression and grip softened once Jieun started speaking, immediately becoming entranced by her soft tone. Wait a minute, did she just say, 'roommates'? Woolim coughed before clearing a hit excessively. She dropped her hands by her waist but still kept the pepper spray in her hand. "I'm so sorry! I had no idea you were coming." Woolim forced a laugh. Well, this is awkward.
@Hwang Woolim Ji-eun was a bit startled hearing the girl's voice and she looked at where the voice was coming from only to be completely shocked by the view of the girl holding the pepper spray with shaky hands. "sorry if I came without speaking before. My name is Ji-Eun and I just moved in town. Also this is the address of the apartment I'm staying in. I guess we are roommates" she spoke slowly making sure her every word was clear in hopes it would help the other girl calm down. Looking around, Ji-eun didn't find much of cozy furniture which was nice but then she could see the kitchen just on the left side of the living room while the girl was standing in the hallway at the right. She chuckled softly at how clumsy the other girl was. "if you are scared in an apartment being alone the best thing is to go to the kitchen where you can use knives of forks as weapons" she said with a gentle smile on her face hoping to make the girl trust her.
@Lee Jieun Woolim had dropped her phone in her lap, singing loudly to the song that played. She had long forgotten about picking her meal and just drowned herself in the tune and beats of the music. She was so proudly singing that she didn't even hear the door to the apartment open. It was then that the song had ended and it was quiet. She suddenly had a bad instinct and a chill ran down her spine. Jerking her head towards the living room, her eyes settled on the only door for exit and entry to her room. "Why am I feeling this way?" she muttered to herself. Squinting her eyes and furrowing her brows, she slowly and quietly stands up, heading towards the door. She wanted to be as quiet as possible in case there was an intruder. Taking light steps, she passed by a nightstand on her way to the door, grabbing hold of her trusty pepper spray for self-defense. Her hand firmly gripping the door knob, she took a deep breath before opening the door and carefully walking out. Her room was located at the end of a hallway, so Woolim carefully crept around the corner of the hall leading to the living room. She poked her head out and saw a girl standing there. Confused, Woolim stepped out and held up her pepper spray, arms shaking from fear. "W-who are you?"
@Hwang Woolim *your apartment is already prepared come by to take the keys* reading this message couple hours ago was just one of the best things that happened today. Ji-eun was both excited and nervous while packing all her belongings and dragging the huge suitcase behind her along the street while holding a small paper where the address was written. "No. 103, I always get number three in almost everything... I guess it is luck" she mumbled to herself as she got into the building after confirming it was the right one. She stood in front of the door few minutes still nervous but finally decided to open the door.
When she opened the door, Ji-eun could hear music coming from inside. She assumed it was her roommate even though she wasn't told exactly what type of a person it would be. Leaving the bags outside at the door, Ji-eun found it more polite to greet her roommate first. She took one step inside clearing before calling out "Hello!"
@Lee Jieun "Hmm, I'm hungry. What should I eat?" Woolim slumped down in her chair and stared up at the ceiling, smacking her lips as she patted her stomach. Ramen? Rice? A sandwich? There were so many choices to choose. Woolim has cravings for everything, so it was always hard for her to decide what to eat. Should she have a meal? Should she have a snack? Is she going to cook at home or eat out? Still smacking her lips together, Woolim pulled her phone out and looked up some ideas for foods that she could go out to eat or make at home. Cooking was never a strong skill for Woolim, but she was always satisfied with herself. She is not a picky eater so even if she made something accidentally too salty, she could still tolerate herself. While searching up something, Woolim had music playing in the background. Her favorite artist just had a comeback, and it was one of the best comebacks by far. She was bopping her head up and down, becoming so attuned to the music that she almost forgot what she was doing on her phone in the first place.
