Jennie was excited to go camping for the first time in a while; pretty much since she was a kid. She smiled and looked at Nana, "I know, I'm excited." She smiled lightly, glad to be able to get away for the weekend and possibly build a better friendship with someone. She had been busy the past week trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life pretty much and continuing to find topics to talk about on her radio show that this past week flew by before she knew it, and now she was making their way up a dirt trail beside a friend. "A 15 minute walk?" Jennie hummed lightly thinking about it. "That's not too bad, it's a small hike." She smiled.
@Jennie Kim "We're gonna have such a great time." Nana excitedly told Jennie, walking alongside her on the dirt trail. They were setting off a hiking and camping trip for the weekend, in a nice cabin that was just by the lake. The past week at work had been lousy; her employees were still slow to learn from their mistakes, snobby customers had hassled and looked down upon her, and she had worked over her set amount of hours because the inventory for the store had come in a few days later than supposed to. In short, she still had a week's worth of work left to do until the deadline, but the saving grace of her assistant manager insisting she take a short break before she would collapse was the only reason why she was out here with Jennie. Her co-worker's persistence had come at exceptional timing too, for just a few days prior, she had bumped into her ex at the store; whom was doing better than ever with a new significant other with a hefty promotion on the way at a notable law firm. To see the other do so well after they had broken up had left her in a bitter mood, but no way was she going to let that incident ruin her today and over the course of the upcoming weekend. "So according to the cottage owners, our house for the night is only a 15 minute walk from here." She commented, turning the map she had held in her hands.
