BEAUTIES and BEASTS explained.

Put simply, beauties and beasts are humans and vampires respectively.

Vampires in this roleplay are either born one or died and were reincarnated as one. They also have red eyes, and are not affected by sunlight, but are still stronger and more alive at night.

Why they are called beauties and beasts will be covered more in the next section, but know it's something similar to the beauty and the beast story/movie.

Contracts and Bonds.

Every beast in the roleplay will need to find a beauty. Long story short, long ago vampire kind got cursed by the gods for a handful of vampires who decided to be evil and ruin it for everyone else, so now they have to be bound to their human counterparts in order to survive. Those who were born vampires and reincarnated are both apart of the cursed bloodline, and therefore have to bear the burden of being a Beast. How does a beast stay alive though? By forming contracts.

There are two types of contracts, temporary and permanent, but in order to form either, a BEAUTY will need to give a BEAST both of the following:
— A new name.
— A gift of sorts. (Can be things like a bracelet, necklace, ring, or something tangible. Anything that shows they belong to their beauty.)

Once those are given, beauties and beasts can begin forming their contracts.

Temporary Contracts can be anywhere from one week to one month. In order to form one, the beauty and beast must do the following:
— Wait until midnight or after and light a dark room solely by candlelight.
— Beauty must smear their blood onto a small, black sheet of tissue paper that will serve as the contract.
— Beast must consume the paper to get a taste of the beauty and know their scent.
— Beauty must speak this phrase: I, [name here], claim [Beast new name here] as my Beast, who shall [service here] until our bond is severed.
— Beast must speak this phrase: I, [given name here], shall become [Beast new name here] and take [Beauty's name here] as my master, and promise to [service here] until our bond is severed.

Once that is done, seal it with a kiss of any kind and both the Beauty and Beast will glow for a few seconds, signaling the completion and activation of the contract. So long as the Beast does not drink the blood of their beauty for a full 24 hours, their bond will remain temporary. If a Beast takes some of their Beauty's blood before then, their bond becomes permanent.

Do keep in mind that if you are a Beauty, you are only allowed to be bonded to one Beast at a time.

Contract Warnings.

Once you form a contract, you are not allowed to stray too far from your Beauty or Beast. After 6 hours separated or away from a Beast, a Beauty's body will experience things like nausea, dry eyes, headaches, etc and their condition will steadily worsen. Once they've gone a day without their Beast, they will die.

Likewise, for beasts, they will feel sharp, needle-like pains start to spead throughout their body after 6 hours of being apart and until they come in contact with their beauty again. Their condition will worsen and have severe effects on their spirit until their beauty dies. When and if that happens, they will still be shackled to their beauties spirit and unable to form contracts ever again.
