/nods my head and wonders if i was simply born to be an awkward human being, if the universe looked at me and said 'wow, this one is gonna be a mess for sure. good luck lil fella' and just threw me into the world, sighs to myself, following you out, i look up at the night sky and resist the urge to shake my fist out to the universe, a cruel mistress, instead i turn to you and look at you with the wide eyed look/
um...yeah? /my answer comes more like a question, as if i'm not even sure- its like you've taken my ability to function like a normal person and tossed it out the window or something, or maybe its because i can still hear your song in my head, blinks a few times and just follows you to the bus, wondering if this is a good idea but my feet walking anyway, and when you smile at me i just end up following you like some curious creature, nodding my head, and just quietly follows you onto the bus, and climbing into it, i'm quick to reach the back of the bus and grab a window seat, setting my board down, i look towards you warily, before turning to look out the window/

/nudges open the doors and steps out quietly, hoisting my bag and guitar over my back a little bit more as i look from the evening sky back at you

/asks suddenly, giving you a small smile before i my head to one side, motioning towards the bus stop before i slide my hands back in my trouser pockets
the bus stops by a diner a few stops away. best kimchi fries around
/without waiting for your answer, not forcing you to come, i head to the bus stop, standing there and looking at you on the other side of the road now, watching you for a moment until i hear the bus coming, raising my hand to signal for it to stop

/rambles on in a soft voice, feeling my own breath hitching up as if i can't seem to catch it, your smile doesn't help me at all, i just find myself falling back to the cartoon deer look, paralyzed when you brush my shirt off and fix my collar, i can't even feel myself breathe, i've must've forgotten how to/
i-i...my board- thanks /my lips manage to make some words but they're hardly coherent, my fingers tighten around it until my knuckles bleed white, glances down at the end of hallway, my freedom out of this awful awkward situation but i turn back to you and nod, forcing my feet to walk ahead and follow you/

@★ mark t。 /holds my guitar pick between my lips as i lean over my guitar and pluck the pencil from behind my ear to jot down a different note one one of the lines, trying that out instead and nodding to myself
/starts the song over again, that being what you hear as you lurk outside the band room, singing along to the latest song i've been composing on my own, no one having heard it yet until now
/after another moment or two i get up, slinging my notepad in my backpack and the guitar over my back, i head out only to blink when i see someone stumble back
/watches you land on your , wincing at the sight before i step closer, about to hold out my hand but you're scrambling up and i watch you quietly, thinking you're going to do yourself another injure if you don't slow down

/kids with you before i reach my hands out and brush them over your shirt, dusting it off a little and fixing the collar before i slide my hands into my pockets, smiling a little bit at you

/nods to the board you carry, figuring you're either a skater, maybe a hipster or even a loner considering how badly you handle coming face to face with another person

/asks as i reach behind me and shut the band room door, returning my hand to its pocket before i'm heading down the hall towards the exit, glancing back at you as if to ask if you're coming or not

@✧ jiwoo k。 dane squinted at jiwoo, taking another munch out of his apple rather forcefully. he didn't really plan to get involved with the prank itself; only waiting for the girl to finish it, get the message through that hat and get his money back. but seeing as it's a girl that's offering him to help her prank someone, dane couldn't help the micheviousness bubbling up in him. "you can just tape the bottom, yknow ? he'll trip and break his ing nose." he raised a teasing brow at the younger before shaking his free hand in front of him. his face formed a reassuring smile, jaw tilted slightly up as he nodded firmly.

"deal. but you're going to do most of the prank, got it ?"

@★ dane d。 jiwoo knew it was a prank that he'd ask her to do but she was too late to realize that. there was no taking it back now. she was blinded by desperation which was, obviously, a bad idea. sighing, she could only hug the clipboard close to her chest and shake her head. "can't do that alone, obviously." she stood right next to the doorway and smiled up at him rather cheekily. "im too short to cover the doorframe with clear tape and i cant clearly finish it if i have to stand up on a chair." she tiptoed and grinned, returning the other's equally mischievous smile. "you'll have to do it with me then."

@✧ jiwoo k。 initially, dane only wanted to fool the younger, make her think she has to go scorch ever corner of the school for someone to join the club in which people just won't learn to let go of the past. he did want to fill the papers, if the sadness in the looks of the younger girl pulled a string of his guilt. however, since the young sheep had fallen right into the wolf's trap, there's no going back.

dane's smirk widened as he took another bite out of his apple, thinking about a prank to put jiwoo over. he nodded once, satisfied with his prank before looking back at the younger. "if you want me in this comedy club of yours, there's this guy who owes me money in physics class. he's an early tard and he runs whenever he sees me. you just have to oil the entrance and tape the door frame with clear tape and wait for the dickhead to slip right into the prank. in exchange of my name on that form. and don't worry about getting into trouble cause if he knows what's best for him he'll keep quiet about this. what do you say?" he cocked his head to one side, smiling mischieviously at the freshman.

@★ dane d。 jiwoo frowned, of course. true, history is mostly memorizing lots of names, dates, and places but they were altogether fascinating. who wouldn't want to know about how this world came to be? dane, probably then. jiwoo stumbled forward and snatched her stuff away with a grimace on her face. "fine, then. i'll just have to look for others, i guess." she was about to step back and away as well when the boy did a double take and looked straight at her. she blinked in surprised, making a soft yelping sound as she leaned back. "y,,,yes? i am. that's what i said." jiwoo swallowed visibly. dane seemed to be thinking of something rather...dangerous or risky for a freshman like her to do. but she was at her wit's end - if doing this would earn her his name on the list then, she'll do it. so the girl stood straight and firmly repeated her words. "yes, i am willing."

dane scoffed at her question, his arms crossing in front of him as he spoke. "i'm not mean. it's true, no ? history is just a few idiots with names doing some stupid slapstick comedy and claim it saves the world." he turned to look at the apple in his hand, taking a bite out of it while looking at the girl.

"no," he simply said after a short pause, eyes narrowed and brows raised to make a cocky face. dane was about to turn and walk away when an idea popped into his head. he eyed her down once before looking straight at her face, "unless... you're willing to do what i tell you to?"

@★ dane d。 jiwoo wrinkled her nose at 'comedy club' and then rolled her eyes before replying, "must you be mean all the time? and history is interesting, for your information. but yes, anyway, hi hello dane." she quickly shoved the clipboard into his chest and slid a pen into his hand. "please just sign up?" she looked up at him with a pleading expression, a small pout adorning her face. "i need at least 15 new people to join the club with me. i dont want it dissolved." jiwoo knew that dane wouldn't probably sign up without anything in return, based on what she's observed about him so far. she's willing to go through lengths if need be, however. history was one of her favorites, after all.

@✧ jiwoo k。 dane threw the apple in his hand into the air and caught it when it landed as he wandered down the hallway. he smiled to himself and took a bite out of it. since his next class doesn't start until later, and even if there is class it's not like he's going to attend anyway, he decided to roam the school ground to find somewhere to cause trouble again.

but that plan got sneezed away as soon as it came to his mind when someone suddenly bumped into him. he was about to raise his fist at the intruder until he realized it was the cute freshie he saw at the school entrance a few days ago. he frowned and tilted his head, mouth parting into a smug grin as he looked at the younger girl. "first thing you do when you see me is ask me to join your comedy club ? the least you could do is say hi. hello, jiwoo."

@★ dane d。 jiwoo rushed through the hallways with a clipboard in one arm. the history club's adviser told her to look for people interested in the club before the first term ends lest it got dissolved by the end of the year. she sighed inwardly. it was tough being the only freshman in the club; the seniors are too busy for this kind of work.

she was looking for one of the seniors that she met at the beginning of the school year when she blindly bumped into one if the troublemakers in school. dane was more than a head taller than her that jiwoo had to step back just to squint at him through her glasses. "dane? dane!" she wheezed and clutched unto his arm. "please, please, please sign up for the history club. i don't care if you listen to the meetings i just want you to be present the whole time!"
