@✩ xukun c。 It had been twenty minutes… Ariana had been standing outside of Xukun’s dorm for twenty minutes - pacing back and forth with her head in her hands, hyperventilating. He didn’t know that she was coming, but then again, they didn’t normally give each other a heads up. They’ve been together for so long now that they knew each other’s schedule, or let each other know that they have something going on so that the other person doesn’t come when they’re not available and so on. She continued to pace back and forth in the hall, clad in her uniform with light blonde strands tickling her lower back. Her fingers gripped the bag in her hand tightly, one bag that held life-changing news.
Both Ariana and Xukun knew that she hadn’t been feeling well the past - well, month now. A lot of the time, she’d wake up sick to her stomach and unable to attend classes, but she’d also gotten used to it and would attend anyway. She felt more tired, like she couldn’t do as much as she used to without her feet swelling up. Honestly, it took her long enough to look up her symptoms and the results were shocking. There was no way, right? It couldn’t be possible. She couldn’t be.
Yet, the four tests within this small baggy seemed to prove her different. The doctors office seemed to prove her different.
Her back leaned upon the wall behind her, tears beginning to seep down her cheeks for, what seemed like, the thousandth time today. “No, c’mon. Get it together,” She whispered to herself, ferociously wiping away her tears. Her eyes shut while she attempted to shake off all of the stress upon her shoulders… yet it didn’t seem to work. It didn’t matter, anyway. It was her job to tell him, but just the thought of doing so scared the out of her. Ariana was terrified out of her mind, she felt like she could get sick any moment. She felt as if she was going to ruin this sweet, sweet boy’s life whom was sitting on the other side of the door. They were just kids.
Her eyes opened as she in a deep breath, hands clenching into tight fists before finally stepping towards the door, knuckles knocking twice upon it while her body leaned upon the door frame.
