@ΝΓΤ ³ zhengting。 Unfortunately for the older boy, Xukun had seen everything. He had just come back from his music theory class when he had received Zhengting's text wanting to talk to him about something. As soon as he got to the metal door leading to the garden, he made sure to open the door slightly ajar, in an attempt to perhaps scare the junior as a harmless prank. However, he just stood there, watching him as he watched over the edge of the rooftop. Maybe he was in deep thought and wanted to have a moment alone. He made his presence known after a couple of minutes of just standing still as made his way over to the couch that was now occupied by Zhengting.
"Hey, Zheng," he greets lightheartedly, plopping down on the opposite side of the couch. "I took a while to get here since the music building is on the other side of the campus, hope you don't mind." From his bag, he takes out an almond bar that he didn't have a chance to eat earlier. Taking a bite off of it, he turns his body towards the older boy. "So is this about Cheng by any chance? It's a good thing that you texted me to talk because I've been meaning to talk to you..."
@ΝΓΤ ³ xukun。 Zhengting made his way up to the rooftop for some fresh air which he seemed to be desperately in need of, as he feels like the voices in his head are about to drive him even more crazy than he already is. Looking in front of him, he could swear he sees himself standing on the edge of the said rooftop, but he looked different, he looked happy, actually happy for once, and it almost took his breath away. It made him take a step closer trying to confirm if that smile was a really happy one and just before he could do that the sound of the rooftop’s metal door opening, made him look away from his earlier reflection and when he looked back it was already gone….That scared him, he’s scared of himself.
Walking back away almost immediately he took a seat on the abandoned couch that has been there for years now. “Hi Kun” he greeted as if he wasn’t out of his mind a second ago. All he hoped was that Xukun wasn’t standing long enough there to see all the craziness that dripped out of him. But even if he did, it just meant that more rumors will be going around about him making him slightly chuckled to himself rather bitterly, but at least he would be called crazy instead of a or a hoe for once, which was rather better if you ask him.
@ΝΓΤ ⁴ ten。@ΝΓΤ ⁴ taeyong。 “ why am I doing this again?” Zhengting whispered under his breath as a guard passed by the corner he was hiding in a few seconds ago. Only god knows how much he will be getting from his parents if he gets caught trying to sneak out like this, they would surely question the hell out of him and that’s certainly not fun. Sure, Taeyong made sure to instruct him and Ten how to get there safely, but let’s face it Zhengting with direction and he would be rather thankful if he made it to the rooftop without ending up losing his way somehow. Taking a deep breath, he walked the now empty hallway thankful to god that he had a talent when it came to not making much noises and keeping it down when sneaking. All of this made him wonder why did Ten and Taeyong decide on the rooftop when the three of them could have hang out in one of their loft rooms, sure it would annoy the /roommates/ but did that really even matter to them? no.
A small sigh of relief came out of Zhengting’s mouth as he noticed the door which he was sure leads to the rooftop. Opening the said door ever so slightly, he was able to make it through thanks to his small frame without even having to open the door that wide. The first thing that he noticed when he stopped paying attention to the now closed door is Taeyong sitting on the couch “I swear to god I almost get caught once and almost got lost like twice, Tae” yes the first thing that came out of his mouth open seeing the red haired boy was a complaint associated with some whining. Removing the cap he put on to keep him /less shown/ in case he was noticed and had to run away, he flaunted his newly half black half white colored hair before taking a seat next to the only other living soul in this rooftop, for now at least. “Can I get one of this?” he asked rather eagerly as he pointed at the cigarette Taeyong had between his lips “And where’s Ten? I was kind of sure I would be the last time to make it considering all the ‘almost got lost’ ” He knew it was kind of useless to ask that since Taeyong most likely doesn’t know where Ten is but he decided to ask anyways, hoping that the smaller male will make it here safely so they could start their own little party.
@ΝΓΤ ⁴ ten。@ΝΓΤ ³ zhengting。 "Still got it." Taeyong utters in a hushed whisper under his breath, a triumphant grin that has a set of canines on full display stealing across his features as he peeks around the corner of the hallway. The redhead pulls his hoodie further up as an extra precaution as he prepares himself to make a beeline for the staircase, after all, he'd successfully avoided the night watch up to this point and he wasn't going to risk himself getting caught this close to the rendezvous point. Eagle eyes spot the flickering light of a flashlight somewhere in the distance, and if his calculations were precise, the night watcher on duty would keep going straight in accordance to the routes established by the disciplinary committee. He proved himself to be correct, and as soon as the light had faded, Taeyong made his move by letting quiet yet simultaneously hasty steps carry him towards the stairs that led up to the roof. The redhead had less than a minute to get himself to safety before the watcher would make a full round and reach his location, he needed to get out of view, and quick.
Taeyong purses his lips as he grabs the handle to the door, well aware that if he rushed too much, the abrupt creaking of the metal would echo throughout the hallways and effectively alert the watcher. With a keen sense of concentration and focus, he opens the door bit by bit until he has it ajar just enough so that his body could slip through. He in his stomach before squeezing in through the gap and letting the door silently close behind him. The redhead releases a breath he didn't know he was holding the entire time as he takes a moment to catch his breath, and he could swear he heard the passing footsteps of the watcher just as soon as the door had closed. Pulling back his hoodie, Taeyong smirks to himself victoriously before sauntering over to the couch and unceremoniously plopping down onto it, he then reaches into his pocket to produce a carton of cigarettes as he pops open the lid to reveal a pack filled to the brim with perfectly rolled blunts enough for three. Taeyong trusted in Ten and Zhengting to know they'd be able to make it since he'd made it a point to meticulously explain how they could reach the rooftop safely that evening. Now all he had to do was wait.
@ΝΓΤ ³ yanjun。 There were always people like this. All brawn and no brains, acting like they belong in kindergarten, getting themselves all worked up over a tiny little grudge from something that wasn't even relevant to them. It was pathetic, really. He'd faced plenty of these children in high school, but it seems like college was full of them too, for goodness's sake. Chengcheng didn't even know why they were coming at him like he'd just killed their grandmothers. He had so many transactions going in and out, who knows which piece of information or what answer sheet to a test or whatever went up their asses the wrong way? And he wasn't bothered to find out either. It was just about impossible to communicate with a lower species, you know. Their low IQs couldn't even comprehend what he was saying... how did that chinese proverb go? Right, playing piano at a cow or something. The cows couldn't be expected to know the great intricacies behind a mozart concerto. Not like him, the brilliant Fan Chengcheng, who excelled at both mental work and physical work. He could fight, oh yes, it didn't take long to outsmart one of these lumps of muscle but when one's got five or six of them forming a very formidable wall over you, at the edge of a very precarious piece of the roof no less, things tended to be a teensy bit different. But just because he was, dimly at the back of his mind fearing for his life, doesn't mean that Chengcheng was going to let up a single bit on the tongue war. "Nice chat ladies, and what are we doing now? A cat fight? I really don't have time for this, you know. Business calls." The brash words didn't match the grim look on his features, gaze flickering back and forth to find a breakthrough point. -And of course he knew that he was only provoking the bull, but if there had to be a fault with Chengcheng, it would be stubborn. After all, the worst can only be a few broken bones, right?
@ΣΥΤ ¹ yuri。 /looks down at the sea of students rushing into the school building that was across the street/ uh as i was saying, i've done illegal things, i've been to jail twice, where should i start? what about you, have you been in trouble with the law before?
@ΝΓΤ ³ xukun。 /leaning up against the railing he looked down at the students passing the building on the sidewalk below/ it's nice up here--anyway, what were you saying?
