Sea Docks

Fingers twisting around the stem of a flower freshly plucked from a field beside the sea, they came in an assortment of colors, yellow, grey, and orange. The scent was light and the sun was warm as it shone down over his features that were free of makeup and products. His now short hair brushed over his ears and his eyes were closed as he soaked in the warmth of the day. He hadn't known what his plans were but his fingers had itched to get out of the cabin and go about doing something. He grabbed the nearest bag of crackers and made his way to the dock, it had been a short drive but as he sat down, feet playfully brushing against the wetness of the water he couldn't help but agree that this was the perfect plan for the day. He felt at peace, his mind and body relaxed in a way it hadn't been in a while. You could hear the noises of nature, the buzzing of insects, the chirps of birds, and the occasional sounds of ducks quaking in the distance. There weren't many people in the spot he chose for himself, which made it all the better. No peering eyes, no noise, no reason to be on edge. Opening his eyes, vision a little hazy from the effect the sun had on his closed eyes, he peered out at the vast blueness of the water. It was dark, not similar to the ways of the Jeju beaches where the sand was almost white and the water crystalline blue. This water was difficult to peer into, the depths unknown to his searching eyes. However, despite the mysteries of the water, everything was peaceful and calm. Reaching his hand beside him, he grabbed the bag of crackers once he noticed a mother duck and her baby chicks waddling along the waterline. Taking a handful, he crushed them in his hands and sprinkled them along the shore, walking along with it slowly to give them a clear path before walking further to give them peace to eat.
Sitting himself down on the shore, he rolled up the hem of his pants above his ankles and this time truly let his feet drift below the cold surface. It was shocking to the touch, but the longer he sat, the warmer it grew.

@Kang Daesung -smiles warmly and then nods-
I have some at home. I'll bring you some so you can play with, okay?
-my smile widens as I eat some more of the sandwich, making sure not to take too big of my bites just so that I can properly talk to you-
You don't need to thank me. You're great company.
-looks at you curiously, eyes widening a bit before I'm nodding-
I'd love to.

@Lee Jinki[sh] Uh... yeah... No clue? *Itches at my hair with a slight frown*
That sounds like a lot of fun to play with, do you have some?
*Makes a mental note to look into it myself whilst taking another bite, swallowing that before I speak*
Thank you, that means a lot to me... It's always nice to see a friendly face.
*Turns in my seat to get a better look at you*
Would you like to go out on a date sometime?

@Kang Daesung You don't know what putty is?
-gasps a bit dramatically before chuckling-
I wouldn't really say that you're missing anything. It is like... a mixture between clay and slime though. You can kind of mold it and play with it but it can feel a bit like jelly or look like it.
-nibbles on my sandwich, taking smaller bites just so that it's easier to talk, and looks over at you, nodding and smiling-
Of course I do. It's been really nice being able to spend time with you.

@Lee Jinki[sh] Oh, what's putty? I feel like I'm missing out on an experience here...
*tears some of the crust off to eat first and returns your polite gesture by swallowing my mouthful before talking*

*smiles with a blush*

@Kang Daesung -grins at your reply, shaking my head a little and laughing-
Ah, I don't know if I could say that. Maybe putty though. It's not as sticky or messy, I don't think.
-takes a bite of the sandwich and then smiles softly, speaking once I've finished chewing what's in my mouth-
Eating can be a lot of fun though, especially when you share a meal with someone you like.

Oh, are you one of those people who enjoys slime?
*sighs in relief and takes a sandwich for myself too*
Phew, I should have asked before I made the sandwiches, but no. I'm all good on that front. I love eating.

-feels my cheeks tint a bit and covers my face with the back of my hand-
I do. There's something soothing about touching something soft, especially if it's warm.
-nods once when you thank me and then shakes my head before holding my hands out for the sandwich with a smile-

*I hold the ham sandwich out to you but I freeze with it mid air when I think about it*

That sounds really cute. I've never heard of it but it sounds like it's be perfect for me. I'd probably want to feel it, too, if it's a fuzzy plant.
-smiles softly as I follow you back to the car, thanking you for opening the door and then getting in, leaning over to open your door for you before wrapping my arms around myself, becoming aware as to just how chilly I was once the heat comes on in the car-
Oh? Did you?
-peeks into the basket and can't help laughing a bit, shaking my head a few times-
The more, the better. It's nothing wrong with having endless options and I'm sure they all taste good... Now, I just have to figure out where to start.

*hums with a nod and welcomes your arm around me, leaning into you as we walk*
There's a cute plant called Lamb's Ear that's fun for children, it's fuzzy and they can feel it.
*gently tugs on your arm and leads you back to the car. I open the door for you then climb in the other side, turning the heating on*
Um, I made some sandwiches but I wasn't sure what you liked so I made a bunch.
*I pull a basket onto my lap and open it so you can see the never ending pile of sandwiches*

@Kang Daesung Oh? Don't think you'd have too much trouble doing that.
-chuckles shyly, glancing down for a moment before looking at you again, stopping when you do and following your gaze out to the ocean-
I'm glad that you agree and I'm sure there's something that would be, well, child-friendly.
-looks at you a bit worriedly, innately hooking an arm around your shoulders when I catch you shiver, nodding in response to your suggestion-
Yeah, let's go ahead and head back.

Exactly, touching it can be okay. It's just the juice, it's not enough to hurt someone a great deal but I don't like the risk personally, it's your choice though. They do live for a long time.

You see the stems here? *points* If you open that... I'm not sure how I can say this without being crude, but inside there's juice and it can be toxic in big doses.

Hm, it's been very up and down. My Valentine's Date never showed and my Hyungs are out of the country... It's been pretty boring.

My day has been... a lazy day. First quiet day in a long time and probably the only one that I'll be getting for a bit. How about yours? And she's doing great. How is Scotia?
