@byun woojin. Jinwoo was on his second doughnut hole around the same time that someone familiar walked over and stood next to him. There's a smile in his eyes that would also be present on his lips if they weren't pressed into the soft dessert. Quickly finishing his bite Jinwoo gives the other a nod and swallows, putting the rest of the treat back on his plate and swiping his fingers across his napkin. "Good morning, Woojin," he responds, using his thumb to wipe away the last bit of powdered sugar from the corner of his mouth.
"They're doing really well right now, thank you. I think they appreciate the break since we haven't done any shows for about a month or two - and how's work for you?" Smiling fully now, something soft and warm, Jinwoo nods again. "Our most recent litter from a few months ago actually had a baby with a funny ear. There's nothing wrong with him, it's just that I wouldn't be able to use him for shows. How about you come over and see if she'll like him?"
@kim jinwoo. the myriad of colors drizzle across woojin’s cheekbone, bringing light upon the various angles of his features gingerly crafted from sunshine and the countryside hills. “amen,” he murmurs in a dulcet baritone, lips grazing against his clasped hands as his eyes flutter open. he thus stands in the pew, wiping sleep away from his eyes as he waits at the end of the line for food.
while there wasn’t any doughnuts left by the time he reached the table, he managed to pour a glass of sweet tea before finding a familiar figure within the halls of the church. he approaches jinwoo with a courteous smile. “morning, jinwoo. how are the rabbits?” he asks, pausing as he observes with such delicacy the other bites into the doughnut. “uh—my boss asked me to see if you would be willing to sell one for his daughter. you know, her birthday is coming up.”
@byun woojin. "Amen." he whispers under his breath, eyes closed and hands clasped against his chest. Then he looks up, catching the sunbeams through the tall glass windows, and smiles. Once all is said and done Jinwoo allows his arms to fall slowly to his sides. As he starts making his way out of the pew he shakes hands with the familiar faces he sees here and there. Someone asks him how he's doing, and others tell him to come over for dinner. He answers each and every one of them to the best of his ability before finally everyone is spilling into the lobby.
It's a well-known secret that refreshments are Jinwoo's favorite part of service. Everyone knows it, if only because he can't hide the glimmer in his eyes when he sees fresh baked donuts and cups of sweet orange juice. After letting the elders ahead of him in line Jinwoo waits until he gets to the table, and grabs a small plate. Loading it with perhaps an extra doughnut hole or two he settles into the corner of the room by the stained glass, and hums around the first sweet bite, careful not to get any sugar on his soft, white button-down.
