@lee hoseok. Jinwoo usually doesn't have much of a reason to visit the village hall. He only ever shows up during the monthly meetings, and sometimes during game night when they need an extra player or two. Other than that he's much more involved in the events and happenings of the church across the other side of the village. That's actually part of the reason why he's walking towards the hall now. He's dressed in his Sunday best, a simple pair of khaki shorts and a white button-down (they really should get an air conditioner for the old building). In his hands he carries a basket in front of him with several goody bags of homemade cookies from other church-goers. They were left overs from the bake sale that he'd bought and decided to see if anyone closer to the center of the village would like any.
When he finally made it to the front door he greeted the village head in the small office to the left, placing one of the small bags on his desk before making his way through the rest of the tiny building. There were only about three to four rooms, and even in the empty "break room" he left a few treats for those who might use it later. By the time he'd gotten to the back porch he'd gotten rid of most of his wares, a bag or two left in the bottom of the wicker basket. "Ah..." he sighed happily as the door shut behind him, enjoying the slight breeze that gently shook the trees and carried hints of spring flowers. When he opened his eyes again that's when Jinwoo noticed the figure sitting near the steps, and it took a few moments for him to recognize it as Evani's only sheriff Hoseok. "Good afternoon, sheriff," he greeted, voice just as soft and quiet as it always was. The breeder hoped not to spook the man, coming to stand next to him with a warm smile. "Would you like some cookies? We had our bake sale up at the church earlier today, and it'd be a shame for them to go to waste."
Most would think that a Sheriff's work was never done, that he toiled tirelessly to keep their little slice of paradise safe and orderly. For the most part, they were right... But, as it was, their sleepy town's biggest threat was apparently the Yoo Brothers golfing off the roof of the school /again/ and the fact that the corner store didn't get its usual shipment of jerky in this week. Being Evani's Sheriff was a lot of waiting around expecting nothing to happen, but being available just in case there was something. Today, that something happened to be helping the folk's that did the upkeep on their little town hall replace the door that had been blown off the hinges earlier in the week when Mr. Soo's prized steer decided he wanted to show off his /mooves/ at the town hall meeting. Helping patch the cattle rancher's fence to prevent any further uninvited bovine guests had kept him plenty busy for a day, but the door had taken only a couple of hours... Most of which hadn't even been spent doing manual labor, but rather catching up with how everyone's weekend had been. The general consensus around town seemed to be that everyone was unhappy with the finale of Game of Thrones - Hoseok included.
Now that the work had been taken care of, Hoseok kicked back on the porch stoop and glanced down the dusty drive while he nursed a perspiring glass of hard-earned sweet tea. His tool box lay off to the side with his portable radio sitting on top of it in case anyone needed to contact him, the light crackle of the device blending with the sound of cicadas humming in the May heat. The sweat that had beaded on the man's nose and soaked into the roots of his hair had chilled now that he was in the shade and Hoseok rucked up the bottom of his black tee to wipe off his face, flashing the hard planes of his abdomen. He could already tell it would be a dreadfully hot summer...
