beachside!
Perhaps the only area where you almost can’t tell what’s Thalassan and what’s Terran. The beachside is what connects Paradisi and Galini together, functioning as a sort of communal area for both races to meet without having to be wary of the other. It is located in District 04 and extends from the city of (city where the i dot is) to the edge of the district. Decorating the beachside are many statues of both Thalassans and Terrans alike, as well as several types of sea life. No one knows where these statues came from or how they were made, but they have remained undisturbed for centuries. Many places are connected to the beachside, including, but not limited to:
The Wharf: There is a series of domed steps with rest stops between that many Thalassans climb to reach the shore, it’s then end meeting of the emporium where both races often meet. Some ways above the amphitheatre is a pier that Terrans tend to walk on, which allows them to look down into the domed amphitheatre from above. It's located at the thalassan entrance and terran exit of Bridging Mall.
Country Club: Although it may look like a humongous beach house, this is in fact a fancy country club stationed right near the public beach on Paradisi (most likely so the rich golfers and trophy wives can rub their riches in the face of those less-fortunate beach goers). It’s a little far out on the sand, but rests somewhere close to the resort!
Resort: Unlike the country club, Paradisi’s island resort is located on the private sector of the beach near the north. Only those with a membership — or at least enough money to get in — are allowed near the property, and anyone trespassing is immediately taken to the police where they’ll be charged and have to pay quite the hefty fine.
Carnival: Right at the entrance of the beach is none other than the carnival! A place of tricks, sweets and fun for the whole family (or your money back — just kidding, we already spent it). Boasting an assortment of rides, entertainment and (in the main tent) gravity defying acts of strength and illusions, you’re bound to have the time of your life.
Food Stands & Porta Potties: You’ll find these dotting the beach in several locations, always ready to serve a good meal or...get rid of one. Either way, these facilities are completely open to the public, unless, of course, you’ve managed to wander onto resort grounds.
