the emporium!
A mall, meeting center, and amphitheatre that exists half on land and half in the water. The emporium is structured like so:
TOP SIDE: On the surface of the beach rests a somewhat small, two story mall and meeting center for both average citizens and political leaders to meet. Most of the mall is dedicated to normal shopping and such, but on the second floor exists an outlet specifcally for meeting with leaders or for letting them hold conferences.
BOTTOM SIDE: Leading into the ocean is a somewhat long stairway covered by very thick glass and leading to a large domed amphitheater/stadium used for both sporting events and concerts. It's generally sealed off and has a ventalation system that converts water into breathable air for any terrans who happen to visit or attend an event there. Seating in this dome follows along the sea bed in two major divisions, sloping downward with food stands and such in between the upper and lower halves.
