@taehyung k. with her senior elderly glasses that she got at the LV store a few weeks ago, barbara spent another day squinting at the computer screen. it was difficult being old. the students were annoying and had so many demands. especially that one kid, lee dongmin? during his four years here, instead of studying all he did was change majors. kids these days really take education for granted. what a waste of money.

back in my days, we weren't like this...
barbara sighed typing away on her keyboard as she did administrative duties. she had several mental health appointments to attend to in the afternoon, it's that time of the semester where students are feeling the back to school jibberies and she had to play therapist.

tap tap tap. the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard in the hallways outside her office. what kid needs to walk like an elephant? don't they realize how loud and disruptive they're being to the admins working? she was annoyed, annoyed enough to channel her anger into the loud, aggressive typing on her keyboard as she yet sent another acceptance email to the final student council member.

the footsteps stopped, followed by a male voice voicing "barbara. Barbara. BARBARA!"
she ignored the kid. kids these days know no respect for their elders. her grandchildren were raised better than this, so she does not understand how this kid had the audacity to yell at her. she typed even louder.

but the boy kept yelling, his voice tickling her ears into straight irritation. she picked up her keyboard and slammed it onto the table as she yelled in her creaky old lady voice. "what the heckity heck do you want from me kid? you think this old woman is blind? you think i can't hear your loud footsteps stomping in the hallways like a 3000 pound elephant? you think i have time to spend dealing with a boy who flails his arm around like a baby? well guess what I DON'T."

@barbara one would expect lost freshmen or working staffs to step into the admissions office. one would however, not expect a senior to enter since it was considered ‘uncool’ to do so. but for taehyung who likes being the odd ball of the bunch, he didn’t see the problem with it. besides, he has some beef to settle with...barbara.

‘barbara’ as soon as he caught sight of the lady, his breath hitches with eyes narrowed to squint at her. now...who was barbara...

trendy curls on ends of white locks, fair skin creased in wrinkles, hunched back that looks almost like a C...barbara was the elderly working in the university.

why the heck would taehyung want to stir trouble up with an oldie¿ he was pretty crushed when she had messed up his greeting, especially since he was a senior in the school— 4 years of studying here and never once mistreating barbara and this was the halfassed welcome he got? unacceptable!! moreover, he was placed in the ‘sun’ residence where it was far from his major’s lecture theatres and other classrooms. was she trying to test him this year? he just wanted a peaceful year to end his university journey,,,,but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

with an angry huff, he stomps over to barbara, each foot he slammed down on the ground louder than the other to alert the grandma of his presence— doubt it worked considering she must be hard of hearing too...

upon reaching her, met face to face with her (once he had crouched down), the male found himself articulating the woman’s name quite a few times, increasing his volume each time.

‘ok, are you playing with me? you can actually hear me can’t you? i mean, i’m standing right in front of you!! hello?!’ exasperated, he was flailing his arms around, unable to comprehend what the shorter was thinking with a dumbfounded look reflected on her visage.
