part of the perks of being a director was getting the opportunity to travel to various locations paid for fully funded by the production. this time taehyung was sent to osaka to work on a project with several trainees from str entertainment. they were shooting a series of videos to upload to the company’s social media channels as a way to introduce their rookies to prospective fans. yesterday they had finished shooting a video following one of the trainees around his hometown in osaka along with a short segment of him dancing. if taehyung remembered correctly, his name was choi san. it was his first time meeting him but he gathered that he was a nice kid and rather talented at dancing.

the crew had several hours of their own time to explore today and taehyung had thought it would be fun to revisit namba. he was so immersed himself in checking out the various stores and food stands that he hadn’t realized how much time had passed. taehyung’s eyes widen as he pulls out his phone from his pocket only to find out that he only had 5% left. to be fair, he had been using it the whole day to navigate around town. he opens his google maps and tries to input the location of their hotel as quickly as possible so he could at least get a general sense of the route home. it’s when he’s about to press the ‘search’ button that his phone completely gives out on him. this was just great.
