Yukhei's hand was rested on his thigh, long fingers quietly tapping against his knee as he waited for the other to write down his reply, eyes peeking down at the paper as the words showed up "Oh, you have a brother? That's cool... At least you have someone who's always with you" He offered with a soft smile.

The others reply made Yukhei let out a short chuckle "That's good, I have shaped the skill of having people get tired of listening to me rather quickly" He joked lightly, the bright smile always present "Especially around quiet people" He added.

"Oh! That'd be cool" The alpha replied glancing from the paper to the other boy "I've noticed that too... Just to try and find my way to the bathroom last night I must've opened at least ten different doors"

Ten nodded his head in acknowledgement after hearing Yukhei’s response. He quickly wrote down, ‘You can say I’ve been here for quite a while now. Probably a month, at least. I came here with my brother.’

The smile on Ten’s face was wider now, brighter, as he found himself relaxing from Yukhei’s friendly and open behaviour. He was quick to reassure, hand moving across the page of his notebook speedily. ‘That’s perfectly fine! I don’t mind talkative. Though, you’ll have to put up with my quietness.’ A muted laugh was offered.

‘Since you’re new here, do you need help in touring this mansion? I’m free currently with nothing to do,’ continued Ten on the paper, showing to Yukhei once he was done writing. ‘The place is huge, it’s easy to get lost around here.’

@ω Ten () honestly that's okay! better even, since I've been incredibly busy and putting off replies OTL I'm just now finishing them up after nearly two weeks :x and definitely do not worry about the lenght! ^^

The light sound of the other's laugh brought a sense of warmth to Yukhei and he turned to glance at him with a smile, barely catching the other's surprised expression that was quickly replaced by the omega's soft smile once more. After the acknowledging nod, the alpha kept his eyes on the smaller, at first, waiting for an answer, before being reminded of the other's condition as he picked up the writing utensil and scribbled something down on the notebook.

He leant a little forward to peek at the page taking a couple of seconds to read through the words before lifting his face towards Ten again "Yeah, I just joined very recently... Haven't met a lot of people yet" He replied simply mirroring the other's soft smile "Have you been here long?"

As he formulated his question, the pen was brought back to the notebook and Yukhei's eyebrows furrowed a little as he read through it once more, immediately offering a short shake of his head "That's okay!" He said quickly, hand moving in a dismissive gesture at the other's polite apology "Sorry if I came out pushy... I just really like talking I guess" He said with a light chuckle.

an amused giggle bubbled from his throat, escaping his lips slightly. he quickly covered his mouth in shock, briefly horrified the sound had left him. though before his thoughts could spiral, he was brought out of his musing by the alpha introducing himself.

he brought his gaze back to the alpha, smiling genially at the name offered and nodded, a hum vibrating from his larynx. he wrote quickly on his notebook then showed to yukhei. 'nice to meet you, lucas. are you new here?'

after some pondering, he added at the back. 'sorry i can't talk to you, i swear i wasn't ignoring you.' he offered an apologetic smile, placing his palms together in what his native country would symbolise an apologetic gesture.

@ω Wang Yibo The fleeting touch of billowy tiers was far from adequate to quench the thirst that had been ignited within. Lun had hoped to permanently punctuate any initiations towards ual indulgence. However, his concise was precariously held intact by a thin thread which abruptly snapped when the very same petal-like lips pressed on the tip of his nose. The alpha was swiftly drawn towards his companion's pulchritudinous visage, inner turmoil visible within those sable orbs lit up with passion.
The euphonious eruption of mirth bubbling past the omega's mouth was a catalyst for stretching his own into a small smile despite the thick tension encompassing these two individuals. "My dear omega, is it not ironic that you feel safe around an unmated alpha during your heat?" Deng countered, rather playfully as he took a step forward in order to diminish the distance Yibo had created. His arm naturally wounding around the omega's narrow waist, again. Chortling, he withdrew his arm and instead slid his hand down to tenderly hold possession of Yibo's hand, slipping his fingers through the gaps for a proper entanglement. "My apologies, but contrary to your assumption. I was planning to take a cold shower until I'd grasped my senses." The alpha continued, lightly tugging onto Yibo's hand, as they walked, Deng could help but release a deep sigh as his shoulders slumped in defeat. "How can I possibly leave you when you look at me with such expression, lovely Yibo? But it would be inappropriate for an unmated alpha and omega to spend time in a room. Please think properly before inviting me into your personal space."

@ω Ten Yukhei heard the lowest of chuckles coming from the other and it already felt like an achievement for him. He did like getting a reaction from others, a positive one in this case but depending on the situations positive or negative he didn't mind as long as he did get something out of them.

He kept his eyes on the tinted pages as the omega showcased his doodles and drawings to him, his own lips spreading into a wider smile, gaze lingering on the scribbled words though not fully reading through them. The drawings were pretty varied in nature showing that the smaller one was probably rather passionate about it. The smaller was clearly good at it and looked pretty happy about it too.

As he pulled the notebook away, Yukhei eyed him as he waited for the other to say or do something and he brought the pen back to the notebook his eyebrow raised in confusion before the, no longer blank, page was shown to him, his eyes quickly scanning the words written as realization finally hit him.
"Oh! You can't speak? I'm sorry!" He immediately apologized as he understood why the other hadn't directed a single word to him yet "I'm Yukhei, but most people call me Lucas so I guess you can go with that" He said, the smile back in his face now brighter than before.

@α Kim Sunwoo Chanhee switched to smiling immediately and moved to sit right on the alpha's lap, arms around the other and his cheek rubbing against Sunwoo's before he moved down the latter's neck. No, he didn't like the scent one bit and was determined to replace it with his own fruity one. "It never is and that won't change any time soon because I like them way too much. I'll get them one way and another." He wasn't sure if the younger was aware of how far he would go just to get what he wanted.

@ω Choi Chanhee rolling his eyes lightly once more, sunwoo releases a soft sigh before simply plopping down onto the couch right next to the omega. "look, here's the deal - you can make all that... stranger's smell disappear now, yeah?" he slumps back against the backrest and shuts his eyes for a moment. "i'm totally aware of the fact that no is not an option when it comes to you demanding cuddles", he then adds in a more amused tone.

@α Wong Yukhei His eyes glittered in amusement as the corners of his lips tugged upwards in intrigue, a chuckle reverberating from his throat though muffled by his sealed lips. Ten set down his pencil in favour of flipping through the pages of the notebook, showing other doodles that he had made. He had no idea the alpha was hoping to make him talk.

In some of the pages, there were rough sketches of concept drawings, a few figures wearing an array of outfits scattered across sheets. There were also small notes written to the side of some folios, perhaps describing his thoughts and improvements he felt he should make on his art. There were also croquis of flora and fauna, imaginary creatures, even a few items he found in the mansion.

Finally, albeit slightly hesitantly, Ten turned to a blank page and wrote on it, showing to the stranger afterwards. ‘My name is Ten. What’s yours?’

@ω Ten The smile was soft but quick. Too quick that it made Yukhei feel ignored, undesired even, and that was something he certainly disliked. Yet, after approaching the other he got somewhat mixed feelings, being hyper-aware, the way the omega had flinched certainly did not go by unnoticed, but he wouldn't judge him for that as a lot of omegas and even betas seemed to be uncomfortable around alphas which Yukhei could definitely understand.

For a second he considered stepping back but then, without a word, the other turned his sketch towards him giving Yukhei a glimpse of the cute doodles over the white page. Still, the other remained quiet while showing him the sketchbook.

Not being one for silence, Yukhei tried yet again "Those are cute... All I can ever draw are stickman, and very crooked ones at that" He said with a short laugh, eyes lingering a bit on the drawing before lifting up to the other in a hopeful attempt to get a verbal answer this time.

@α Kim Sunwoo "I don't like knowing that someone has been close enough to you for the scent to stick to you. It messes with your own that's just.. horrible. I prefer it without a mix." he complained, huffing and crossing his arms with a pout in hopes of getting an apology. "I've been sitting here and waiting for you all day, Woowoo.. wanted your amazing cuddles." Chanhee then admitted, looking at the younger with big eyes. "Join me? No is not an option, just saying."

@ω Choi Chanhee "you don't need to have with him", he responds in a lower tone, and he shakes his head. "you don't even have to know. what's the deal? it's none of your business, anyway. talking to people isn't considered a crime, as far as i know." well, yes, he could've asked him to join him, but really... sometimes he was glad when he had a few hours for himself. without chanhee. because honestly... his demanding nature can be draining, sometimes. "what've you been doing, though? just chilling?" he hoped he could somehow brush the topic off - in some sort of way... because honestly, he didn't feel like fighting.

@α Kim Sunwoo Chanhee noticed the flinching but when he was upset, it didn't matter and he kept his eyes narrowed at the other male. Just the barkeeper? No, he didn't quite believe it when the scent actually stuck to his alpha as if they had been close or talking for quite a while. "What's his name? Might need to have a little... talk with him if you know what I mean." The omega's tone gave away what kind of talk it would be but it wasn't clear if Sunwoo knew or was aware. "You should have told me or asked me to join you."

@ω Choi Chanhee there's something to the mansion that always managed to put sunwoo off a little. well, more like... someone. there's this omega who'd always react badly to him meeting others - really, really badly. and the worst thing about it was that he was his type. he couldn't even really cut him off, because despite him being quite demanding, sunwoo felt some sort of bond between him and the omega. his name was chanhee, and as soon as sunwoo stepped inside and went to the living room, he could already hear him snap at him. and honestly, it startled him to the point where he flinched.
"for 's sake", he grumbled with his hand clutching at his chest, a small sigh of relief following. "what do you mean, who is it? had a drink at the bar, talked to the barkeeper. calm down." he rolled his eyes

@α Wong Yukhei Taemin was out, as usual, kicking the asses of crime syndicates before leaving them to the police and coming back home. In the meantime, Ten waited for his brother’s return in the mansion, passing his time by doodling on his notebook. He didn’t have any concrete ideas to work on currently, so he forwent a sketchbook in favour of something simpler, drawing a few fluffy creatures all over the pages.

Ten lifted his gaze briefly when he heard the greeting, offering a small smile before resuming his work. It wasn’t until the other was close enough that it hit him — the other was an alpha. The only hint of his nervousness was in the way he shifted in his sitting position on the floor before he littered more sketches across the surface.

He threw a quick glance to the stranger at the question before leaning to the side so the latter could see what he was doing in his book, displaying the drawings of many fluffy and round creatures all over the pages. Being mute, he didn’t give any verbal explanation to his project, sure that just showing his sketches would be enough to tell the alpha what he was doing.

@ω Ten Lucas was still getting familiar with the house, and certainly still getting to know the other roommates. Being rather new to the Midnight Howl there was barely anyone that he knew yet, but thanks to his personality it hadn't been hard for him to strike up a conversation with random strangers and getting to know them.
The house seemed to be awfully quiet today for some reason, and a lot of the residents seemed to be out so he was excited to spot an unfamiliar face in the living room, leaned over a notebook where he seemed to be drawing. He was pretty sure they hadn't spoken yet, so he let out a short 'hey' from the hallway, to which he did not obtain a reply. Raising a questioning eyebrow at the other, he carefully walked towards him, taking a seat next to him and peeking towards the other's page "What are you drawing?" He asked casually as he analyzed the lines on the paper.

@α Deng Lun There was something that stirred deep in the omega's chest that tightened at the nice rouge like color that appeared on the alpha's cheeks. It wasn't too obvious but Yibo was raised to take note of these things. Anything to your advantage, young one. Was that calming voice provided before the very breath was snatched from his lungs at the brush of lips. It was far from his first kiss but he wasn't too blind to ignore the hormone charged energy in the room. Maybe not even just hormones. Just attraction. It was like a forest fire ignited from the base of his spine to just spread up his body and burned in his belly. Unfortunately that cause a rush of... slick to slip out of him.
That in return made his own cheeks burn a deep scarlet before clearing his throat yet again. To react that way to just a brush of the lips? His wolf wanted to whine and ask Lun to say his name over and over. "I would be honored, Lun." Yibo said just before pressing a feather light kiss to the tip of the alpha's nose. The view of a strong jaw and the immediate access to a even stronger violet smell made the self control in the young omega deteriorate. A soft laugh escaped his lips as the sleeve was brought to Lun's nose. Foolish alpha. "Mm. Well.." Yibo took a step back, arms just barely stretched but his eyes glinting with an invitation. "What if I was to say that I feel safe with you? Would you leave me vulnerable?" An underhanded trick but a clever question for an omega who was at the peak of, well, breeding. "You can walk me to my dorm but with your condition who's to say that you won't find another omega to satisfy your needs?" Yibo was looking down at the way his fingertips trailed over soft fabric, only a moment later did he look up to lock eyes with the older one. His sense of speech reverting to that formal tone and elegant choice of words that had the possibility of pulling any well named alpha in. "What if I just want you to lay with me for a moment before leaving? Would you deny me?"

@ω Wang Yibo "I apologise for my impoliteness."
The conciliatory tone of voice wavered with traces of mortification saturating alpha's saturnine flesh, a faint hue of roseate brushed across the expanse of his prominent cheekbones. Lun prayed that his weather-beaten complexion would veil the evidence of such an episodical blunder.
"Yibo." Lun davened in a quiet voice before a tight smile enhanced his favourable visage, "Yibo, may I you back to your room?" Lust dancing along with the sultry voice as he leaned forward and their lips brushed for a few moments. The quickest touch leaves a searing trail down his spine travelling south, igniting a deep yearning coiling at the pit of his stomach and then, his groins. Lun's forbearance had been challenged, the strength behind his jaw flexed as he clenched while he turned his head sideways, hastily. Lun covered his nose with the sleeve again, although such methods of precaution was redundant now.
"Please don't worry. I shall not lay my hands on you, little one. I'll just make sure you're safe and leave."

@α Deng Lun Even with a cloudy mind and nearly scent drunk with the other in front of him; years of etiquette classes thumping loudly in his mind. This is what happens when a sheltered omega isn't usually spending heats around anyone but especially strong and capable alphas. Yibo shivered at the raspy voice before a stern voice snapped at the movements. You're already a mess, darling, you need to keep some composure. It was his old mentor. An old omega woman who, supposedly, wanted the best for him. "Oh, right." With how well spoken and rather respectful- considering the situation -the alpha was; he probably came from a well off family as well. "Youngest son of the Wang family. Again, my name is Yibo." He replied with a very gentle voice, eyes closed at the proximity. Why not just take what he desired? What's stopping him now?

@ω Wang Yibo The redolence of springtime bloom permeates through every pore of his being, absolutely captivated that he defies the decorum of modesty ingrained by his predecessor, often with strict punishments. Lun's fleshly lips twitched blithely when his touch was accepted, almost instantly, despite fruitless attempts to dismiss the inception of perhaps a reckless affair blinded by their primitive desires.
"Yes, indeed it would. It would be polite for me to left you go, too." A warm, raspy voice possessed his chords, which surprised it's owner as well. "May I know your respectful name, dear omega?" Lun's breath ghosted across the male's rosy lips, such attractive luscious pair that he wished to feel the softness with his own.
