@◈ kim hyolyn •lyn• sᴏɴɢᴡʀɪᴛᴇʀ Mixed laughter filled the open office, floating from the area designated to management as said staff relaxed and idly chatted during their break. Another joke tumbled past the lips of one as just before he stuffed a kimbap roll in his mouth, only for him to begin choking and sending the rest into another fit of laughter. Reaching over, Kyungpyo delivered a few hearty pats to his coworker's back while his own shoulders rose and fell in quick succession with silent amusement. "Alright, let's not see anyone dying here. Enough jokes, what are you guys planning for the weekend?" He inquired, idly stabbing around in his container of salad as his eyes scanned the small group for the first to speak. It was a woman, one of the newer of the bunch, but she hardly got to say much before his phone began trilling on the table next to him. Uttering apologies and excusing himself, he scooped up the device and shouldered it while leaving to the other side of the room.
"Hello?" In the moments following, Kyungpyo's blood ran cold and his face surely showed it as a nurse relayed the information—the news of his daughter's accident—to him as the familiar voice of a mutual friend seemed to be talking to another in the background. "Wh..what room is it?" he managed to ask after what felt like ages. The words had trouble coming out, however, as his mouth had gone dry and his mind foggy. As soon as the numbers left the nurse's lips, he thanked her and made his way out in a hurry as the confused and worried voices of his coworkers sounded behind him. In his haste, he nearly ran into another, familiar, figure and found it in himself to stop. They were in the same boat, after all. "Hyolyn," he called hand on her arm and leaning down to see her, to snap her out of the tearful daze she was in. No doubt, she'd been called as well. "We should go," he spoke in a slow, clear mannner to ensure she was attentive. "I'll drive us, okay?"
@◈ go kyungpyo ᴍᴀɴᴀɢᴇʀ Hyolyn was sitting in the room appointed to the staff working on her latest song when her phone started ringing, she forgot to put it on silent, she always did when she was working, just that time she forgot it. With a sigh, she pulled it out intending to send the call to voicemail and continue on her work, but upon seeing who the caller was, she hesitated and instead answered the call. "Hello?" She said a smile on her voice, thinking it was Sua who wanted to talk to her mother, but what she heard a few seconds later, killed the smile from her lips. A guttural filled with pain moan lift her lips; "No oh god no" Momentarily the phone was forgotten and panic was starting filling her up, and not more than a couple of seconds later she was hurrying out of the room trying to find the only person who might help her through that situation.
