Well I’ve always liked singing and performing. The route in America was different and harder, in a different sense, to get into the music scene. I’m lucky enough to have been able to sing in Korean well enough so I came here to try and become an idol. The visa process was almost enough to make me want to stop but I’m glad I didn’t. I ended up being good enough to be a trainee. Dancing didn’t come easily for me though. Really had to work on that one.
Eventually I was picked to join a group and honestly it’s been kind of amazing ever since. I gained several new friends and brothers that I love and that have been through it with me.

‘Course I do. More so when I was first living here though. My parents come visit me more usually. I have distant family members here but it’s not the same. My grandparents come back every other year like clockwork though.
