@? ⋮ ❛ m. jia｡ it's a simple comment that warms dongmin's heart. ever since he moved into yeongwon, he questioned his decision. life here was quite different from the flashing lights and fast-paced lifestyle he was so accustomed to, but he found a quiet peace with himself here. "that's very kind of you. i actually moved here just a month ago," he starts, deciding to leave out the fact that he didn't plan to stay much longer. "it's a lovely town... any thoughts on traveling?"

i nod with a smile still plastered upon my lips, tilts my head a lil to the side out of curiosity.
how about you though? i feel like you been here for a long while because you seem to fit right in this small, cute town.

@? ⋮ ❛ m. jia｡ “just dongmin is fine,” he replies sheepishly, hoping it would serve as a better substitute than the word ‘handsome.’ jia was quite the beauty herself. it’s cute how intrigued she seemed, leaning over the table with her hands cupping her cheeks to highlight an infectious eye smile. “how long have you been in yewon?”

i said as i happily sit on the empty chair opposite side of you, leaning against the table as i cup both of my cheeks with my arms propped against the table.

"sunday huh? that's a cute name." he smiles softly to himself when the cat purrs contentedly from his motions, leaning up to stretch before curling back into a ball on his lap. even though he was done with most of his work by now, he still felt a little guilty leaving when sunday looked so comfy sleeping on his lap. with no other plans for the day, he figures he has another hour to spare. "there's no need to treat me, but if you would like to join me then i don't mind," he offers, looking back up at her with a reassuring tilt of his head. "and don't worry, you're not a bother. i don't have much to do and i'd rather take the chance to get to know you."

i wriggled my eyebrows at you with a playful smile upon my lips, letting out a coo when i hear my cat purr by your actions.
oh her name is sunday, i had her for 10 years now and she is still going healthy strong! well, at least she seems to have good company if she keeps coming to you, you can continue playing with her but how about i treat you to a meal as a thanks? unless i'm interrupting what you doing, then i don't wanna bother you.

@? ⋮ ❛ m. jia｡ today, dongmin chose a seat near the front of the cafe. it came as no surprise when a familiar persian cat dashed across the room, halting beside his feet and tilting its head at him expectantly. there was no way dongmin could refuse those large glistening eyes that demanded affection. as if on cue, he picked up the chubby feline and set him on his lap before diverting his attention back to his laptop. he had just about finished responding to the flurry of emails that he had neglected for the past week when he notices someone waving at him from the corner of his eye. “not sure. think he’s just looking for a free body pillow” dongmin chuckles, gently scratching the sleeping cat’s back. he diverts his attention back to the lady in front of him, who he recognized as one of the cafe's regular workers. “what’s the cat’s name?”

@ꕤ ⋮ ❛ l. dongmin｡ finally being done with work today, i walk out of my office, waving at my employees before i notice my cat laying on your lap. was i surprised by this? nope because she has been close with you and only you out of all customers who come here. taking the perfect opportunity to chat with you since you didn't seem busy, i walk towards the table where you sitting at before I shyly wave.
h hai there! sorry to disturb you but the pretty cat that is on your lap is mines and i curious why she is obsessed with you?
