Welcome to Hogwarts! If you are a bit confused about this place and what is going on, read this FAQ, and hopefully you will find your answers here.
1. Timeline: our roleplay chronologically is taking place in the sixth part of the Harry Potter book series. (Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince)
2. Who are the professors, and how can I become one? Every participant who has one student character, with 50 activity points, and participated in at least one lesson. For more information about this topic, please go to Chamber of Reception. You can find all the rules there.
3. Where can I apply for professor? In Chamber of Reception. You have to tag admin and use specific password that can be found in professors rules.
4. I'm a professor, where can I post information about the lesson? In lesson notice one week before lesson take place. Include what subject it will be, date and time you will start it with your GMT information, don't forget about the classroom you will use!
5. Why only 5 students per class? To lessen the strain that is put on the teacher. Admins had some experience with this type of events, more than 5 students can be hard to manage.
6. I'm a student and I want to participate in lessons, what should I do? Check 'lesson notice' room and see if there is any new announcement. Then tag the professor and ask to join using your student password. Password can be found in chamber of reception in student rules. Only the first 5 students will be able to join!
7. Ministry of Magic is the main navigation, check the rooms and see what you can find there.
8. House points? What is that? To make a game a bit more exciting, we create Hourglasses with points of every House. All students can gain or lose points during lessons or just normal plots.
9. What is game master's role? We create them to bring more fun into the game. Game masters will follow plots randomly, from room to room, and can make an appearance at any given time, to simply talk like Gray Lady would, or to prank you like Peeves would. For example, if you are caught by Filch, sneaking around the castle during night, you may lose points.
10. Mrs. Norris appeared and gave me warning, what should I do now? It means that Filch is on his way. You will have 2 hours to move from the place you are in, or you will be caught and lose points and possibly get detention.
11. Can I plot with game masters? No, they are simply there to bring more action, but you can interact with them if you want, but be cautions. If you start actively involving them in long plots, they will stop answering and move away.
12. Where is Hogsmeade? Hidden! It's an event tab, every month we will open this city for a week.
13. Will there be Quidditch games? Yes, but a bit later, we need to get a hang of this place first, if you have any more questions on this subject go to Owlery and tag Jungkook, he is responsible for this section.
14. Can I have romantic plot with professor as student? Yes, but be cautions and try to keep it real. You can get in trouble if we find this dirty secret. ;)
15. Can I get my own dormitory in my house? Yes, anytime, go to Owlery and tag admin. Preferably Hoseok because he is in charge of layouts.
16. I found a room where layout is not working, what now? Hit Hoseok with pm, he will take care of it.
17. How many characters I can have? Maximum 4 with one professor. First and second without any rules, unless the second is a professor. Third, a blog post and 250 activity points in all of previous characters. Fourth upvote and 500 activity points on the third one.
