1. Professors are allowed as second or third character, not as first. The first character has to reach at least 50 activity points. You can have one professor per account. To apply for the professor, you need to tag admin in this room with password and faceclaim. Password can be found in professor rules in Chamber of Reception.

 

2. The professor should conduct at least one lesson per month. Inactivity without a hiatus will be given a warning and one week to set the earliest possible date for a lesson. If lesson is not conducted and the professor is active in other threads, they will be kicked out without second warning.

 

3. The professor should announce their lesson at least 5 days before it starts, in a 'Lesson Notice'. They should provide the exact date and time (with their own GMT included), furthermore the subject and classroom that will be used. 

 

4. Professors, if something should come up, and you are no longer able to continue your lesson, please contact admin via PM informing them of your situation, so they can close the lesson and give your students points. 

5. Professors, one lesson should involve max 5 students, and the lesson shouldn't last for more than a week, after which the admin has the right to close the topic. 

6. The teacher should start the lesson with a post that should have at least 5 sentences and tag every student that wanted to participate. Students have than 24 hours to reply. After this time, professor can continue the lesson and give negative points to students who did not show up.

7. It is up to the Professor's discretion the amount of points students will receive for their lessons, however at a minimum we ask every student attending should receive a minimum of 5 points towards their respective House. 30 points per lesson is maximum. 

8. Professors, please remember that we all want to have a good time. Please leave any problems outside the classroom. Respect students and treat them fairly. Plotting which could disrupt the work of other students and the course of the lessons is forbidden.

9. A romantic plots between a student and a teacher are allowed, but let's be real. If someone catches you, the consequences will be drawn. So be discreet! It's still a school, after all. Password: Your favorite ice cream flavor.

10. We have no limitations on the subject of your lessons, you can use all available materials. Roll dice, presentations, pictures, or drawings or even new spells you create yourself as long as it will give students something to do and something for you to grade.

11. We all know that some subjects are more popular than others so to give everyone equal opportunities every professor will have to make one lesson in each of the subjects.  Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, History of Magic, Astronomy, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures,  Divination,  and Ancient Runes. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE TESTING THIS SYSTEM AND IT MAY CHANGE LATER! 

 

1. Students, lessons are NOT obligatory, their aim is to diversify the game and give the opportunity to earn points.

 

2. Students on a hiatus are not allowed to participate in lessons.

 

3. When the teacher announces the planned lessons in 'Lesson Notice', the student should tag the teacher and declare participation using student's password (remember to check, the password will be changed frequently). Password can be find in students rules. The first five students will attend the lesson. Do not push the teacher and ask to join if positions are already filled. You will get another chance later. 

 

4. Once the teacher begins the lesson,  student has 24 hours from the professor's post to join. After that, professor will continue their lesson and joining won't be possible unless student had informed in advance that they will be late.

 

5. If a student doesn't show up for the lesson and reports their absence beforehand, their respectful House will lose 10 points. Moreover, the student will be placed on the list of watched students. Three unexcused absences will be blacklisted, and  student will not be able to participate in future lessons.

 

6. Students, if something should come up, and you are no longer able to participate, please contact professor via PM informing them of your situation, so they can skip you in their lessons.  

 

7. Student can participate in 3 lessons at a time.

 

8. Students, your lesson posts must be at least 5 sentences long. If you do not meet the requirements, you will get a warning, and if the situation repeats you will be blacklisted and won't be able to join future lessons. Be creative! You can break this rule if teacher say so. For example: if you answer will only need a code, or a b c answers or anything else that professors with require from you. Password: what color are forget-me-not flowers?

9. Students, please remember that we all want to have a good time. Please leave any problems outside the classroom. Respect professors and their work. Plotting which could disrupt the work of other students and the course of the lessons is forbidden.
