@Hwanwoong J: I feel like there's no way for us to even go under his radar, no matter how hard we try.
-makes a face, scrunching my nose up a little-
If we could figure out how he does it so well, maybe that would make it easier...

BK: I won't disagree with you. He is quite on edge lately. He's been doing his best to keep it under control. He hasn't hurt anyone before but it has caused him some trouble before. He wouldn't want a repeat.
-tilts my head, expression still soft as I listen to you explain-
I'm always careful so, please, don't stress it too much, okay? I'm not an easy target.
-teases and gently pats your arm-
I do appreciate the concern though and I'll be sure to keep your words in mind. I've been with all of them, well, except one, for a long time now. Even they have told me before that I know them better than they know themselves, so hopefully that'll allow you to relax to some degree.

@Youngjo * just listens to the conversations which is mostly just background noise. slowly relaxing more in your hold, forgetting where we actually are.*

K: Only stressful for us.
* Shakes my head and lets out a soft breath*
l wish he wasn't so good at reading us honestly.

S: I know what my kind is capable of if they aren't in control, and he's... very tense. His energy is... unrestrained.
The hybrid is not a concern to me, He seems controlled and not a wolf scent... so not as concerning.
*frowns a little*
The other scares me. I could easily assert myself over the other two... but this... I've never thought I couldn't handle something I didn't know. I feel threatened but at the same time I want to be far from it. The only time I have felt similar was a meeting with a very old and powerful being. This scent is not the same... it's full of life.
Just be careful. I care for you, and I'd hate for one of my kind to harm you when you have no defense. (cause he doesn't know about Kwannie)

@Hwanwoong -notices Kwan leaving, too, tilting my head a little but just burying my face against the top of your head for now, tuning out everyone else pretty easily-

J: -nods in agreement, sighing softly-
That's his kind of fun. Harmless but stressful at the same time.
-chuckles quietly, glancing over once he's gotten up, my curiosity clearly piqued-

BK: -raises a brow as I follow your lead, hoping everything is okay before nodding slowly-
I am aware, yes. Those with unique scents seem to still be figuring themselves out for the most part.
-smiles warmly at you and even chuckles softly-
Do their scents concern you? You seem... mostly worried, I'd say. Is it my safety that you're worried about?

@Youngjo *smiles happily and leans against you once I'm finished eating, just enjoying being close.
Watches as Kwannie leaves before closing my eyes and relaxing*

K: *chuckles a little.*
It does doesn't it...
If he does, I hope it's only short.
But he might enjoy watching us struggle for a while

S: *working the kitchen. Comes to meet you when they let me know you're there, bringing you into the back and making sure we aren't going to be listened in on*
I'm sure you know... you're always aware... but you have... someone similar to me in your group. And a hybrid... and something else... I cannot pinpoint, but the scent is... strange

@Hwanwoong -smiles and pecks your forehead, finishing off my drink and just relaxing, playing with your fingers as I lace my fingers with yours, holding your hand to my chest and just feeling comforted by doing so-

J: Yeah, that sounds most like him…
-pauses and furrows my brows, letting out a soft sigh-
I hope he doesn’t pretend just to mess with us because that feels like something he’d do, too.

BK: -glances around the table and excuses myself to go find my friend to see if everything is okay with him before we leave-

@Youngjo *smiles softly and nods slightly*
I promise. I am not going to give up on you. Nothing could make me even want to leave.
*leans in to give you a quick kiss as well, trying to ease whatever has you so worried*

K: hmm...
*nods a little and takes a moment to eat some before letting out another noise*
I still don't think he will hurt us.
He might just tell us to keep our mouths shut...

J: He doesn’t seem like the type that would hurt someone on purpose but… I have begun to question a few things now.
-laughs quietly, realizing my food is practically gone already, not having realized how fast I’d been eating-

I wouldn’t expect you to just back down to be honest. I wouldn’t recommend it either. He’s really nice, always has been, but he does become someone different when he wants something.

Well, I’ll be with you. I won’t have you asking by yourself. We’re both curious so we can both ask. Besides, he might kick my but I can put up a fight if you get in trouble somehow.

Now I know... I can prepare myself a little. I'm not here to get between your friendships... My battles will be fought with words... If things are happening I will tell you, I will talk to him... We will make it work

It wasn't exactly like that. I can say that it wasn't entirely him. Things were already getting in the way.
-sighs softly-
He went away for a couple of years for schooling and stayed with his parents. We had a mutual breakup a little after he left because it was just too much with him trying to focus on school and me just...existing.
-chuckles dryly and shrugs-
I met Wheein and I brought her into the group. Things happened with her family and her brother and it was stressing her out. When Jackson came back, he couldn't help himself. He was giving her the looks like he did you and he would write things to me, poems and songs... She had enough on her plate and that was the final straw. I didn't find that out though until after she broke up with me and I had gotten with him again. When I found out, I broke up with him. I think it had kind of made him clingier than before because he was worried we wouldn't be friends anymore but...
-looks over at him and then looks down and sighs-
I don't think he'd want to chance us not being friends anymore.

J: -shivers and sighs, poking at my empty plate-
At least if I die tonight or someday soon, I had a good meal.
-looks over at you and huffs-
You're going to get us caught because you keep looking over-

@Youngjo He made you and your other ex break up...
*frowns a little*

K: *keeps glancing over at Kwan as discreetly as possible*
It is scary isnt it...
Somehow, feeding us to the dogs doesnt feel very Kwannie... It's more like... we'd just disappear.
At least if he was afraid that we'd talk or whatever... Maybe he just has a threat or a way to make sure we dont tell anyone...
He has enough on us...

I have more than one ex at this table. It ended because of something neither of had control of but... he'd found way to make it a lot more difficult and end a lot sooner...

J: The more we talk about this, the scarier he seems. You don't think he's like some serial killer or something, do you? If he's a kingpin or related to one, he's not going to do like in the movies and feed us to some dogs or something, right?
-forces myself not to look over again, knowing I'll make eye contact if I try again-
Maybe he just wants us to ask? I'm scared now either way.

K: he's known you so much longer...
he's known me long enough to know how to take me out without anyone knowing.

I've always been a little intimidated by him, but now I'm actually kind of scared.
* glances over *
If he knows... he should give us a sign so we can know if it's something we are allowed to ask, or if it's something we even want to know.

@Hwanwoong He is a pretty thick guy but...
-chuckles and looks at you again, resting a hand on top of your head-
He wouldn't want a repeat of what happened so that alone would be enough to scare him off. Besides, I'm sure you could give him a run for his money.

J: He's just... always got things handled. I bet I'd be that calm all the time if I kept things in order the way he does.

We aren't... Even if he didn't notice, somebody else easily could.
That... That's a terrifying thought, especially with how long I've known him. I don't want to imagine him just waiting for the right time to strike.
-glances over before looking down at my plate again-
Let's just hope not but I wouldn't be surprised if he did know.

@Youngjo I'm really hoping as well. I will fight if I need to but... His arms are like three times the size of mine.

I guess we just ask before he takes everyone home. I don't really want to ask with Hiyyih there, She'd think it was awesome, or that we were being insulting.

Same for me though. I wouldn't let anyone hurt you. They'd have to go through me first to try and insult you or try to hurt you.

J: -watches him go off and then chuckles, looking at you-
He's a busy guy, as always. I really don't think he'd be upset if we ask. I feel like he's gotten asked things like that a lot. It's just the air he has. Not scary but just, you know.. like in charge.
-eats some more and hums softly-
Now, you have me curious. We're going to have to get some sort of answer...

@Youngjo I don't think an uproar over food is really my style, about the only uproar you'll get from me is if someone insults you. no one insults you and gets away with it. I will beat them all down.

The calls too... He's always getting calls.

You don't suppose it's his family that got those connections? it still explains everything, and means he's not a criminal mastermind, just his family.

J: I hadn't thought about it before. He's always been like this. He doesn't seem like he's very social either. Like he just goes somewhere and everyone knows who he is already, and he knows who they are.
-stares down at my plate as I think back to when I first met him for a moment before chuckling-
It does. I remember meeting his brother a few times but it's been so long. I don't really know about his family. He never really talks about them but I've never seen him get upset or angry if someone mentions his family either.

BK: -nods once as well and then looks around the table, smiling to myself as it seems everyone's enjoying their food, checking my phone and then quietly dismissing myself to go handle the phone call-

J: -enjoys the food, my expression very much showing that I am, and glances over at Kwan-
You know... You're right. I don't think any of us would be surprised if he did turn out to be a kingpin or at least friends with people in some high but sketchy kind of places.
-shakes my head-
He does know a lot of people. I know we don't see him all the time but I do kind of wonder how he has so much time to see all of these people and where he meets them.

BK: -looks over at you and nods, flashing you a bright smile-

I remember Kwannie mentioning him but this is the first time I remember meeting him.

Maybe I should go away for longer, go with the show when they tour the world or something, I'll miss you guys but it gives him time to get his own hobbies...
