@○ ⁞ ㅤsamjoko. He taps the ashes from his cigarette, wisps of smoke curling up toward the branches of the cherry tree he's standing under. Nearly all the blooms are gone for the summer, except for a lone spot of pink high among the green leaves. Hm, he's spending too much time here again. He starts making his way down one of garden paths, intending to leave when he hears the strumming of a guitar, and a familiar voice. He slows his steps, eventually walking in the direction of the sounds. He stands just behind a short hedge and peers down at the essence whose back is turned to him. "I don't think the roses are going to answer you," he says to her, and takes a drag shortly after. "Unless you're Alice, though this isn't Wonderland."

Behind a hedge and right next to a rose bed with a guitar she "borrowed" from one of the local music stores rests Sammi, softly swaying with it in her hold as she strums any tune that comes to her fingers and hums along from time to time. "Why oh why am I so lonely?" she half-sings, laughing to herself somewhat like a loony, but sighing a weighty sigh after. "Dear roses," she says, turning to face them as if they were an actual person who could respond. "What would it take to gain a friend right now?"
