@Won Jongjin Jihyun giggled and nodded. "I told you before, I can hold my liquor pretty well, but okay, I won't~" she responded, laughing a bit. She took another bite and thought of different ways this night could end. She smiled to herself as she thought of a couple and continued eating, looking forward to going to the club. She checked the time to make sure it wasn't too late but not too early.
@Nam Jihyun Jongjin nodded "Ahh I can do that...but that doesn't mean you can get super drunk ok?" he teased laughing at the thought. He didn't mind her paying in the slightest feeling better her than him for the most part and even still they were going out in a little there was plenty more to the night to do and more fun to have. If he was lucky it might even end up a little better than he expected.
@Won Jongjin Jihyun nodded and smiled back. "I'm glad that you like it~" she said. "My treat, okay? If you insist on paying for something, you can pay for the drinks," she told him with a wink. She was looking forward to tonight, partly because she could let go and have fun, and partly because she was looking forward to partying with Jongjin. She would be lying if she said that he didn't intrigue her.
@Nam Jihyun Cutting the sandwich in have Jongjin took a bite. It was delicious and all he could really do was smile and nod his head as he took another bite. He would definitely come back as it slightly reminded him of his own mothers sandwiches and a tiny bit of homesickness appeared in his heart. "You were right" he finally said looking over at Jihyun and smiling.
@Won Jongjin Jihyun nodded and pushed the plate with with the sandwich on it. "Here~" she chimed before pulling the japchae towards her. "I hope you like it," she said before taking a bite of the food. She hummed in satisfaction and nodded. "Still good food as always~"
@Nam Jihyun Jongjin nodded reminding himself never to get on her bad side unless he wanted to get killed. The food that came out really did look delicious and it only took him a few seconds to pick what he wanted "Give me half the sandwich." He didn't want to take the whole thing but if it was as yummy as it looked he might be back more often and get his own.
@Lee Jieun (hiatus) The other that was in Eunjung's heart was never told. Yoona always wondered, but never asked. Some secrets were meant to be kept private. Knowing her violent jealousy, in this situation, she would of done something. It was better for their relationship that the latter was never known. The thought was pushed aside as the latter asked how the two were doing. It was hard not to smile at their previous days. The latter had made several meals throughout the day, forcing her to take breaks. This simple care lowered the stress greatly. "Exceeding my expectations. Settling down is showing to be facile." Word got out very quickly that she was engaged, it made sense that Jieun knew. She leaned back into the chair, putting the menu down. The latter seemed a bit off today. It could of been from the time-- but she doubted it. No something was off. Something happened. "Yourself? There has been talk about a new person in your life."
@Im Yoonah Raising her gaze from the menu as a familiar soft voice spoke, Jieun flashed a quick smile at the drug lord before placing the menu down on the table, having decided what she would order. "Of course not," she replied, observing the noticeable changes to Yoona; the other was awfully bright and less stressed since their last encounter, or so it seemed. It probably had to do with the fact that she was now engaged with Eunjung, her ex-lover. She should've been happy for the two. Yoona could treat the psychiatrist far better than Jieun could ever hope. Now Eunjung, in her own words, could be done with Jieun's "incapability to allow herself to be happy" and was finally able to "get away from all the bull" that came with her. But she wasn't entirely happy; there was a feeling jealousy that grew within her. Mostly due to the fact that she had lost a girlfriend to another. Then again, why did she care? Eunjung was such a faultless creature, just as the rest of the human society was. the human brain's ability to romanticize everything; love was nothing more a series of chemical reactions in the brain. It made one blind to the faults and weaknesses to the one that they "loved". Jieun could live happily without all the complications that " love" brought along. At least, that's what she had convinced herself of.
However, she did not let her emotions show through her expression. "How are things between you and Eunjung?" she asked casually, leaning back in her chair as she smiled slightly at the drug lord. Well, at least Yoona was happy; that was nice to see.
@Lee Jieun (hiatus) It was quite early in the morning, a chilled morning. Such a good day to get some coffee. It had been some time since Yoona had seen Jieun. The two were business partners and also starting to become friends. So much had happened in the past weeks, just a short time, but it killed Yoona's social life. Between work and becoming engaged to Eunjung, just to find that she had another in her heart as well-- luckily Yoona was the bigger presence. Now here the latter was. Completely moved in and sleeping in her bed. They were spooning clothed, such a wonderful sensation. A few kisses to the shoulder before the cheek. She felt from behind the latter, pulling the sheets around the lover. Leaving a note saying she loved the latter, that she was going to be out for the early morning. Back later so they could eat breakfast together. It was the entire reason this meeting as so early.
After putting on a casual sweater with some jeans and boots, Yoona drove to the cafe. Entering to see the other was waiting. "I hope the wait was not long." She said with a soft smile, clearly happier and more clam than before. She sat down in front of the latter, looking at the menu.
@Won Jongjin "That's why I keep it wrapped up," Jihyun said, taking it back, wrapping it up and putting it away just in time for their food to come. "Oh, yay, food~" she said happily. "What one do you want?" She asked. She knew they could always share, seeing how each food tasted. But she let Jongjin have first pick of the food.
@Nam Jihyun "Ohhh that makes a bit more sense" He said laughing although the thought of a boss proposing to her didn't seem to far fetched. Jongjin was careful when he unwrapped it looking at it in awe "Wow thats pretty cool don't go waving it around though you might hurt someone."
@Won Jongjin Jihyun laughed. "No, of course not.. That boss and I have a brother-sister relationship," she explained. "Would you like to see the ring?" She reached down for her bag and carefully rummaged through it, grabbing the carefully wrapped ring and pulling it out. "It's sort of a ring, but not really... Just be careful you don't cut yourself, it's sharp," she warned, handing it to him, still wrapped in a handkerchief. It definitely was more for self defense than decoration, but she loved it all the same.
@Nam Jihyun Jongjin nodded "Its really cool" the part about the ring though made him laugh especially since he hadn't seen it. "Does that mean that your boss tried to propose to you~ and you still have a job he must have it bad" he teased lightly kind of hoping it wasn't really the case.
@Won Jongjin Jihyun nodded and then looked down when he pointed to her necklaces. "This one?" She lifted her dragon necklace and smiled. "This one is from my boss in my first job. He also got me a kind of ring as well," she said, grinning even more as she remembered her carefully wrapped ring, well it was more like a claw, a dragon claw. It could be deadly since it was sharpened with diamond so she rarely wore it. "It's cool, isn't it?" she asked with a smile.
@Nam Jihyun "Ohh well thats good I mean why not do a job if you don't love it right?" Jongjin said smiling as his eyes caught sight of the two necklaces. "Wow where did you get that one?" he asked pointing towards the dragon pendant.
@Won Jongjin "Mmhmm...." Jihyun hummed, getting the sense that he was really just brushing it off. "Me? Besides the one I told you about earlier, about me being a personal assistant? Yeah.. I do, but I don't consider it a side job since I technically had it first and I love both jobs equally," she said, her hand going up to fiddle with her two necklaces she had on, a blue gem one and one that had a dragon pendant.
@Nam Jihyun His eyes widen slightly "A side job...well yeah I do its not much though trading junk here and there is all." Jongjin brushed it off wanting to get over with the question before more questions would be asked "What about you? You must have one right?" he asked curiously.
@Won Jongjin "Well, that's something," Jihyun said as the waitress brought them their waters. "Do you have a side job?" She inquired. She wanted to know him better, after all, they were going to a club together and maybe even something more later. And she wouldn't judge or criticize if he did because she had two jobs as well and one wasn't the best in society's terms.
@Nam Jihyun "Tell you a bit about myself?" Jongjin said chuckling slightly "I wouldn't even know what to tell that I haven't said already." Leaning back in his seat slightly he crossed his arms as he thought "Hmmm well I guess I can say I'm a pretty good cook not amazing though."
@Won Jongjin "Thanks," Jihyun said with a smile. She nodded to the waitress that their order was complete and turned back to Jongjin. "I ordered the water since we're both going to be drinking tonight and we don't need soda or anything else..." She placed her chin in her hand and looked at Jongjin, studying him. "So.. Tell me a little bit about yourself," she asked, still studying him.
@Nam Jihyun He shook his head "No never I thought you said everything was good here I'm sure i'll like it." Jongjin smiled though at the thought and watched her order "Yeah that sounds great actually you have really good taste in food."
@Won Jongjin Jihyun scoffed lightly when he told her to pick something for him. "Alright.." She said with a small grin on her face. "But don't get mad at me if you don't like it." The waitress came over and she ordered two waters, a club sandwich, no tomatoes, a cup of soup, and a small plate of japchae. "Sound good?" She asked Jongjin before the waitress walked away, making sure he was okay with what she ordered.
@Nam Jihyun "Really!? I have never been but I'm sure its better than waiting forever for club food but there are a few places that I don't mind waiting for." He smiled walking in and holding the door for her as he thought about the more fancier clubs he had been to before. He sat down across from Jihyun looking over the small menu "pick something for me~" he said cheekily looking over at her.
@Won Jongjin "Thank you," Jihyun replied, the grin still on her face. "Come on, the cafe has really good food," she said, walking in and holding the door open for him. "It's better than waiting at the club for food and even then, they mainly only serve drinks and people are just too busy dancing.." She led him to her favorite table and sat down, ignoring the stares she got from the few people that were in the cafe. She also handed Jongjin a small menu so he could look what he wanted.
@Nam Jihyun He didn't know how long he waited but it couldn't have been that long as he turned his head seeing Jihyun walking towards him and waving himself off the wall. "You look pretty" Jongjin smiled taking in her outfit.
@Won Jongjin Jihyun took a quick shower and then changed into something suitable for a club, but also would be appropriate to out in before getting the call that Jongjin was at the cafe. She told him she would be right there and then hung up, quickly blow drying her hair and brushing it out. She grabbed her bag and walked out of her hotel, towards the cafe. Once she actually got there, she saw him standing against the wall and grinned. "Hey~" she greeted with a smile.
@Nam Jihyun Making his way home Jongjin quickly washed up and changed putting on something he wouldn't be to difficult to be seen in while looking a little less than what he usually did. Hopefully though no one would really recognize him as he wasn't bringing anything to sell tonight fixing his hair last before walking to the cafe and leaning against the wall outside as he called Jihyun to tell her he had made it.
@Im Yoonah It wasn't often that Jieun woke up early in the morning, the only time being when she had work. So when she did so on her own free will, that must have meant she had a decent night prior to the morning. Or something else to attend to. In this case, it was meeting up with Yoona. Arms stretched above her head, a cup of orange juice poured, and the deepest urge to go outside and just roam the streets crashed over her. But she needed to meet with the drug lord. She would stop by a nearby cafe to meet the other woman. A quick wash, a brush of her teeth, and he was off. Walking out of her suite, she made her way down the street.
The heat of her hand was a stark contrast to the temperature of the rest of her body, chilled from the air hitting her. Wind gusting by and hitting her cheeks, turning the pale skin a light shade of pink. Her feet were bringing her to the cafe, and the only way she knew this was because she felt an even colder brush of wind. It had traveled over the man-made lake that took up a good portion of the park near her so called home, which led to a small cafe. Her brows furrowed as she saw only a little bit of people, because usually, the park was thriving. With couples, with older people, children running and playing.. Maybe because it was early? Probably that.
Slipping into a nearby cafe, Jieun looked around and took a seat near the window of the the main floor and picked up the menu, quickly scanning through its contents.
