Jihyun walked in the park slowly, enjoying the small breeze that appeared. Even though it was cold, she didn't mind, she was bundled up warmly. She sat in the bench, shivering at the feeling of the cold metal but sat there, breathing in the air. Although she hadn't come to the park just to relax, she was doing that anyways. She had gotten a text from GD saying that he wanted her to meet someone, to meet at the park, and that he wanted to talk to her after earlier and she said okay. Why not? Maybe he was going to introduce her to his lover. She had been intrigued when he told her that he had one and was excited to meet him. Looking around the park though, she guessed she was early to the meeting and just sat on the bench, relaxing and waiting. She also wondered what he had to talk to her about as well, and if she was honest.. She was a bit worried about it. It couldn't be something bad right? Or would it? The woman bit her lip as she waited as well, both eager to meet her boss/'older brother' 's lover, but also worried as to what he had to talk to her about..
@Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul Krystal laughed softly and ran her fingers through her hair. "Thank you, but I don't know if I'll keep it that long." She told him before turning towards him in interest. Listening carefully, her eyebrow raised once he was done. She thought for a bit before opening to speak but ended up closing it again. Moving herself closer to Nickhun, she let out a soft laugh. "You should know that it's hard for Krystal Jung to fall in love." She told him before crossing her arms.
The two have been friends for a long time and he should know that, it was the first thing everyone knew when it came to Krystal. Biting her lip softly, she nodded and held out her hand. "It's a deal." She smiled, knowing that it was impossible for Nickhun to win. It was Krystal Jung. She doesn't fall in love and there was no possible way she would fall in love for her childhood friend. She always saw him as just.... A friend. Putting her hands in her lap, she smiled while looking at the sky. "You know it's going to be hard, plus you're not really my type. You don't have fun or so it seems."
@Jung Soojung When a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts, the male flinched a little, startled by the other's presence. He turned to face the girl and blinked a few times as he saw her bright red hair. That was something new. "I like the hair color. It suits you," he commented with a soft chuckle. He then paused before speaking again. "Yes, it's for another bet," he said as his lips curved upwards slightly and nodded. "Here's the deal, Krystal; if I can make you fall in love with me in within two weeks, I win. If not, then you get the last laugh. Because this is going to be our last game." Raising his gaze to meet Krystal's, he watched her expression, wanting to see how she would react to the proposition. Yes, this bet was different from all their previous games, but he was sure that the red haired girl wouldn't refuse. He was tired of losing and, now that they were adults, this would be his last attempt to win against her.
As he ran his fingers through his blonde-orange hair, he thought of what his first move should be. He wasn't really a 'ladies man' so to speak and Krystal knew that. Known for being somewhat stiff and awkward around girls didn't support his cause either. For the last few weeks, he had devised a plan for the next two weeks and how he woulds spend his time with the girl. How he would make her fall for him. He only had two weeks, but the fact that they had known each other for so long, was quite helpful. A small smile appeared on his lips, knowing how satisfied he would be if he won.
@Lau Henry [[the agency is free since Changmin left. let's go there. my suite is occupied]]
Zhou Mi nodded and was a little disappointed with the fact that Henry was acting distand from him. He didn't understand why his cousin chose to do so. Had he done something wrong? Even if he did he couldn't help believing Henry was dead for the past few years. He turned around and started walking back to his agency. His work sometimes forced him to stay in late and work double. Though he preferred to sleep in his suite, sometimes when he knew his spouse wasn't home either and he was really busy he spend a night in his office. He had a small couch in the corner he could sit and sleep on. It wasn't very cozy. But it wasn private and right now the best place to talk. He quickly texted his lover that something important happend and he didn't know when he was gonna be home. if he was gonna be home at all.
@Zhou Mi Henry took a step back so that the other could no longer touch him comfortably and put his hands in his pockets. He could understand his táng xiōng dì wanted to take part in skinship right now, but he definitely wasn't up for it. No. They had to rebuild their relationship before they did any of that. He waited and waited to get at least a letter of condolences from his once beloved cousin, but they never came. Although Henry knew why he hadn't gotten one now it still hurt. "Lead the way."
@Lau Henry Zhou Mi nodded immidiatly. "of course! of course. I just can't believe you're alive" He answered the younger in his native tongue. He couldn't help but wanting to keep touching a part of the younger. mostly his arm. Just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Just to make sure Henry really wasn't dead. He bit his tongue when he thought about the day his mother told him about the deaths. He cursed her for having lied to him. All this time he lived with pain because he thought he had lost his cousin. But the latter was alive and warm and very attractive to say the least. He continued to use mandarin as he invited the younger to move away from this place. "Let's go somewhere more private so we can talk in peace. You and i have a lot to talk about."
@Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul When it came to Krystal Jung, a lot of words could describe her. Smart, talented, cold but nice, just about any word could describe her. She was beautiful, but she never admitted it and honestly she just saw herself as an ordinary Korean girl. Krystal was still young, a student to be exact but she was also working another job as a waitress. Maybe she wasn't the best waitress at some fancy restaurant, but she was pretty well known at the club she worked out. The young girl knew how to job correctly, but don't be mistaken because she wasn't that type of girl that would just throw and sell her body for anyone. Krystal got mistaken by many a lot, not because of her job but because of personality. Many girls hated her to be exact but that didn't affect her life one bit. Why did girls hate her? Because guys were always all over her and she didn't really enjoy it all the time, but she couldn't change that. If there was one guy that she allowed to be around her, it would be her long time friend, Nickhun. Many girls had their eyes on him as well but he never seemed to return their feelings. The two went way back and Krystal remembered every bet she won, which to be exact, it was every single one.
Up until now she won, and she had the feeling that she would continue to win. Walking towards the familiar park with a pair of sunglasses on and her red hair slightly blowing her hair, she made her way towards the place she planned to meet Nickhun. She didn't know the exact reason why they were meeting but like always, there would be another bet. Seeing a familiar figure not to far, Krystal made her way there and sat down next to the man, turning to him with her leg crossed over another. "Hello, Nickhun." She greeted before running her fingers through her hair to fix it. "So why did you call me out here again? For another bet?" She asked with her eyebrow raised and a small smile on her lips.
@Jung Soojung Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul; the son of the CEO of Horvejkul Industries. His father had built the company into what it is today after taking over for his grandfather who passed away and expected his son to follow in his footsteps to become the CEO in the co. But that's not he was headed. he was majoring in law, but planned on being both the CEO and a renowned lawyer. He had no doubt that he could pull of both. For not only was he intellectually smart, he was also one of the most sought after bachelors in the country, but that's where the problem was. Because of his father's influence, he was often very busy and was somewhat antisocial. Business was everything and didn't really have any friends outside, or inside of work. Although, there was one person. Her name was Krystal Jung. She was beautiful, smart and just all around perfect, just not in the eyes of the young law student. Nichkhun could tolerate just about everything in this world but mention her and he'd lose it. As far as he could remember, they have always been at odds with each other when it came to just about everything. Who would've thought that it all started in grade school with a simple card game of Go-Fish. Academics, sports and so forth whatever it was, he always came out the loser against Krystal and it continued for years. It's not like he was not able to do these things, it just happened that she was much better at it than he was.
Their adult lives were no different. The two constantly challenged each other with games and bets with the loser being, you guessed it: The young student, Nichkhun. But he felt like things were finally going to the change when he came up with, what he felt like was, his best strategy yet. This idea had crossed the busy mind of the young man before, but not once did he ever imagine that he would ever have to result to it, seeing as he never really liked her all that much. His head was racing with thoughts and images of what was to come as he walked into a park, it's lush green grass and lovely fragrance cleared his crowded mind. He sat at a wooden bench infront of a beautiful bed of flowers, the subtle colors of pink and yellow calming him from the tense state he was in just moments before, a smile curving on his lips, forgetting about the fact that Krystal would be there any minute to meet up with him.
@Zhou Mi Henry's eye brows furrowed at the first question. He was about to spit out, 'Of course I'm real!' and pinch his cousin's cheek or something, but that was when Zhou Mi reached out to touch him. He wanted to slap his hand away, but again Zhou Mi beat him... By taking him into a hug? Well. This certainly wasn't the reception that Henry expected to receive. Now it was his turn to be frozen. He was confused by his cousin's actions, especially the crying, but that slowly faded when Zhou Mi started explaining. More like interrogating. Henry put his hands on the others middle and pushed him back a bit. "How about I tell you about the day my parents died? All of your questions will be answered then? I only have one request-- I only want to speak Mandarin with you. Since Mother and Father passed I don't have anyone to speak it with on a regular basis and I miss it."
@Lau Henry Zhou Mi stood there frozen like a statue. He still couldn't believe he was actually facing his cousin. His hands were shaking. He held on to his phone tightly, to not drop it again. "are you even real?" Zhou Mi murmered. He reached out hand to touch his cousin's shoulder. But when it turned out to be as real as he was he pulled Henry into a tight hug. "It's really you! You're alive!" He was so happy to see the other he even started sobbing a bit. All this time he had believed the younger was dead. That he was put in the ground next to his parents. Yet those were all lies. Henry was alive and well. He grew up into a handsome young man and here he stood. "i thought you were dead" He said before he released the younger again. "I was told that you died with you parents and was buried with them. how... how are you alive?! what happend Henry?" He fired so many questions to the other he didn't even knew if he could answer them all. But he couldn't help it. The shock of seeing his cousin alive still had a hold of him.
@Zhou Mi Henry removed his hands from his pockets and crossed his arms. His brows lifted a bit at Zhou Mi's reaction to seeing him. "Well at least you remembered my name. What? Cat got your tongue?" With a smirk Henry bent down and picked up his precious phone, standing and placing it in Zhou Mi's hand. He closed his hand around it and patted it, the smirk still on his face. "I know that you're rich and all, but you have to be more careful with your electronics."
@Lau Henry Zhou Mi was typing when he heard the other wanting an explaination from him. "What in gods name would i have to explain to y-" he couldn't finish. Because when he looked up. the man had stepped into the light and a shock ran through Zhou Mi's body. His eyes grew big and he dropped his phone in surprise. Flinching when the device hit his feet.
The man that stood in front of him looked exactly like the boy he lost contact with years ago. His cousin. Then he got the news that his parents were killed and that the boy -according to his mother- was dead too.
In horror and disbelieve he stared at the man before him. Not knowing what to say or to believe he wasn't dreaming. "H-Henry?!..." He shook his head slowly. It couldn't be.
@Zhou Mi "You know me, but it was made obvious that you don't care about me. I don't think that you ever did." Henry replied, still speaking in Mandarin. He scolded softly when he saw Zhou Mi look down at a glowing item that was obviously a cell phone. God. He can't even hold a conversation without looking away from his personal smart phone. That was so typical for his type. Henry put his hands in his pocket and took a few steps forward so that they wouldn't have to strain their voices. "I think that you have some explaining to do."
@Lau Henry Zhou Mi wanted to walk on. but before he could, Someone called out to him. In his mother tongue. Zhou Mi froze and turned around as quick as he could. In the dark he saw a figure. But he was standing too far off to see who it was. On top of it all his attention was devided to another text he got. He got a little irritated. He knew the voice somewhere but he didn't knew the guy. Appearantly the guy knew him though. "Should i care?! Do i even know you?!" He replied loudly in Mandarin.
He wanted to turn around and start walking again. But something made him stand where he stood. There was something about that voice. It was like he knew a younger version of that voice. It was the same but this voice was matured.
He looked at his phone to read the text expecting a shout as reply. But maybe he miscalculated that reply.
@Zhou Mi Henry bit his lip when Zhou Mi started to pick up his pace and did the same so that he didn't loose him. , his legs where long. When the other looked back Henry froze and his heart started beating rapidly in his chest. Despite his doubts there was a slither of hope that Zhou Mi would recognize him with his matured features and blonde hair. Though when he looked forward again Henry's heart fell to the pit of his stomach. A moment later he felt rage. He was angry that his cousin thought him not good enough to stay in contact with. That he didn't send his condolences when he no doubtingly heard about his parents untimely demise. That he didn't recognize him. He should of. The two of them sent countless pictures to each other. "Hey, Zhou Mi! Remember me? Or have you become so famous that you don't give a rats about nobody's like me?" He half shouted in Mandarin, standing in one spot.
@Lau Henry Zhou Mi yawned as he walked out of the agency's building. He had a long day and an unexpected meeting with the head of another fashion magazine. Since he became the CEO of the company not a year ago he had been making longer days. Before that he was already the best and the face of their company. And now he owned it all. It was exhausting but worth it.
He fished his phone out of his pocket to see if he had any messages. He smiled when he found a message of his lover. He still had the number he used previously. His husband switched phones and numbers often for safety. So Zhou Mi always had to wait for a call. He started walking through the park when he texted back to his husband. Even their marriage was unofficial for safety reasons so Zhou Mi didn't wear a ring or any sign that he was 'married' to someone. It would also be a big scandal if he did. So he decided not to show it to the world but to keep it in his heart.
The park was almost empty at this hour. A few drunk people here and there. Zhou Mi didn't like it. But the park was on his way to his home. he had to get through it to get home. So he just walked a little fast and hoped he could get out of the park soon.
He had just texted his husband when he noticed someone was following him. He looked over his shoulder but he did it quickly. But he didn't see anyone. So he shrugged and wanted to move on...
@Zhou Mi Henry had been is South Korea for three years and he hadn't once contacted the only family that he had there: His pinyin Zhou Mi. He did some research on the elder and found out that he was the owner and founder or something of that effect of a fashion magazine. He didn't have anyone after his parents gruesome death and the letters that they often sent to each other would have been a Godsend for him at the time. Due to the lack of writing the letters to his cousin he wasn't getting any practice in pinyin, but after some time Henry forced himself to practice on his own. Originally when Henry moved to Itaewon and then a year later to Seoul for work, he had plans to get back in tough with Zhou Mi, but he just couldn't. Now, though... Now he was going to confront the man that abandoned him. Henry found out where the others office was and stood across the street and waited for him to come out. It wasn't hard to find a current picture of the man considering the fame that he had achieved. Henry couldn't deny that his cousin had gotten very, very attractive. Whoever Zhou Mi was with was a lucky person. As he stood there he wondered if Zhou Mi wanted anything to do with him. It certainly looked that way seeing as how he stopped replying to his letters almost six years ago. Now that the elder had become famous Henry didn't see why the later would want anything to do with him.
Just over an hour passed and Henry was becoming frustrated. What did the man do? Live in his ing office?! He was having thought of storming his way into the building and finding a way past security to get to his only known living relative when he saw the tall man he had been waiting for exit through the front doors. Well. He was centennially taller than what Henry expected. Burying his hands in his pockets, Henry crossed the street and started to follow his cousin. He guessed that the man was out for a walk because eventually they eventually made their way into a park. If this was the time to pick up his pace or call out to the other male, then now would be the time. Though yet again he couldn't bring himself to do it. He was so close, too! Deep in his mind Henry told himself that he wasn't taking the final step was not only because Zhou Mi wouldn't want anything to do with him, but because there was no way that the elder would recognize him now. Yeah. That was why Henry wasn't making himself known.
@Lee Jieun (hiatus) Naeun smiled softly as she realized that she had remembered the right person. She nodded her head slightly. "Neh," she said as she moved a little closer, "I wasn't sure if it was you." Biting her lower lip, she shrugged her shoulders a little. This was more awkward then she would have expected. "You've changed, but I'd be more surprised if you hadn't over the years. For a second, I didn't think you'd remember me," she said with a weak smile.
@Son Naeun Jieun's eyes widened after hearing the someone utter her name; shifting her gaze to the woman who spoke, she noticed a camera in the hands of the other. Turning her body to face the latter, the young girl studied her features carefully, everything seeming so familiar to her. She searched her memory, trying to ignore all the painful moments that seemed to scar her childhood years and focus on where she knew this girl from. It suddenly clicked in her mind- this girl was one of her friends from when they were younger. "Naeun?" she asked softly, her voice wavering as she spoke, not even giving the other the opportunity to respond before Jieun got up from the bench, looking the latter in the eye.
@Kazuhiko Saitou (Bou) (Semi-hiatus) It was a sunny day outside. The flowers were blooming in the garden and the birds chirping to a melodious tune. Many people would call this a nice day. Many people except for the man who was still trying to sleep on his bed. It was a rough night for him before and all he wanted was some sleep. Hearing these ‘beautiful’ noises only made him curse under his breath opening one eye to look at the digital clock across from him. It was only nine in the morning. As he closed his eyes back to sleep, he then figured that he should go around the city 'looking around'. It's been a while since he's actually been out into the world and he wouldn't mind taking in some fresh air. Still sleepy, he forced himself up from the bed to walk into the door. As a surge of pain traveled around his head he couldn’t suppress his groan getting up once more. As he looked at himself in the mirror, the latter immediately gasped. Now there was a big purple bruise in the middle of his forehead. “Don’t worry Gongchan, it isn’t a big deal.” As he talked to himself, he knew his brain was screaming how it’s horrible. What person will be attracted to someone with such a bad bruise? Sighing, he brushed his teeth and took a shower before changing.
After fixing everything in his room, he walked out of his house. For being nineteen, he had to admit it was one nice place to live. Though he did have to thank his deceased parents for leaving him the money for him to afford it. Thankfully, he had no classes to attend so he was free from any work. It was such a rare opportunity for Gongchan and he decided that he should just relax, something that he never really thought of doing. Reaching into the park, he found a vacant bench and sat. Though he was feeling great he couldn’t help but to have a scowl on his face. He couldn’t bring himself to smile. But it wasn’t if there was a reason for him to. As he took in a deep breath, he closed his eyes hoping that the day can actually stay peaceful.
@Lee Jieun (hiatus) Naeun bit her lower lip as she walked into the park. Growing tired of sitting in her room doing nothing, she'd decided to come out and take some pictures. She walked further into the park, stopping every so often to snap a picture with her camera. Smiling softly as she reached a playground, she watched the kids for a few minutes before looking around and spotted someone that looked a little familiar. Frowning, she made her way closer to the girl on the bench, trying to get a better look at her. "Jieun?" she said softly, still uncertain if that's who it was. It had been a while since she'd seen her. Years, but it was almost certain that's who was sitting there in front of her.
@Son Naeun Jieun jogged past the enticing benches, struggling to keep going. She was running around in shorts and a tank top that was hidden by a blue light jacket. Nowadays, it seemed like everyone in her company was skinnier then her. It made her feel fat. Well, more than fat, enormous. At least she was losing all that extra weight now. She huffed and turned her music off, sitting at a bench that she stopped at. She laid back and closed her eyes slowly. It was peaceful to hear the kids laughter, the birds singing, and all of the great things that made you feel good inside. She fluttered her eyes open after a while and yawned a bit. Was she taking a nap but didn't know it? The young girl furrowed her eyes at the thought but then decided to forget about it. Instead, she once again focused on the scenery around her - the many brightly coloured flowers and butterflies stealing her attention. She could not remember the last time she had been to a place to beautiful, and was able to just let her mind drift away from the troubles of her present.
@Nam Jihyun "Sure, we can I guess. Oh and Thanks"Sunny said as she hesitated but walked past her and plated the softest peck on her forehead as a sing of being in her debt, though she made sure to plant it near the side so it was not to be confused with the kiss of death, even though she couldn't at her rank. She assumed she was walking behind her and stopped at a tree to check on her
@Lee Soonkyu "Don't worry, I don't think I'll pick a fight with you... And sure," Jihyun said, smiling back. "The nightclub? I can get a discount..." She said with a slight bitter undertone. She didn't necessarily like working at the nightclub, but hey, she needed the money.
@Nam Jihyun "I won't unless you start it next time." She said Sunny looked her up and really eyeballed her as she did this in a casual manner she spoke"Well look, let's go have a drink on me, my way of saying sorry?" She kicked some rocks and smiled to make amends, Soonkyu may be a total she didnt like to be mean all the time only when conducting Bussiness and she was a huge believer of karma.
@Lee Soonkyu Nodding slightly, Jihyun sort of understood. She had run from her original gang because of complications with it. "I probably won't. Just don't try to kill me again," she told Sunny lightly, trying to lighten up the tension.
