@kim dan. a typical day took an unexpected turn. as chaerin walked through the park, she noticed a wallet lying abandoned on the floor. concerned that someone might have lost it, she bent down to pick it up, fully intending to locate its owner and return it. opening the wallet, her heart nearly stopped as she glanced at its contents. nestled among the identification cards and bills was an old, weathered photograph. it depicted two young siblings, beaming with innocence and happiness. she recognized herself and the boy standing beside her in the photo, the brother she had longed for over the years.

unable to contain her emotions, chaerin looked around the park in a daze. her eyes were met by a man, a few years older now, who bore an uncanny resemblance to the boy in the photo. he was searching anxiously, his gaze sweeping the crowd.

with trembling hands and tears welling up in her eyes, chaerin approached him, her voice quivering as she called out, "oppa?"

time seemed to stand still as they stared at each other, recognizing the long-lost sibling they had both yearned to find.
