While there are no set occupations to choose from, there are certain important roles and positions that need to be filled. Other important roles will be filled by NPCs. The roles that are the most important are listed below along with explanations and who is currently filling that role, if anyone, as well as if they are an NPC or not.

If you'd like to take one of these positions, simply state which one in your application. Roles will go to people on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, ALL roles and positions have the possibility of being taken over or revoked, especially if the current possessor of the role shows themselves to be untrustworthy or shady IC.

Roles can also be changed by force (with consent by all parties involved and admin permission), by the finishing of a term if applicable or through the IC death of the current possessor.

 

The overall government of the galaxy functions as a democracy, however each planet has its own smaller government that leads it. All planetary governments answer to the Supreme Chancellor. A term lasts 10 years, with the exception of Tajukine and Mergiza, whose rulers are a royal family that have ruled from the beginning. Each planet has it's own personal army, but there is also a galactic army controlled by the Senate on Canturi. Generals and Advisors can last until the role is revoked or they pass.

The law enforcement system is like a mix of the American FBI/CIA and the Earth police force). They are officially employed but the Galactic Senate, and are funded through public taxes. They also get personal funding and investments through NOVA CORP who is also responsible for keeping them armed and protected. They're known as Peacekeepers (a mix of the Earth police force and the FBI). Bounty Hunters are known as Beroya(s) and are usually self-employed. However, some may be employed by the government or other corporations.

Founded by Enmuri DeVinca in 2120, the Runka are a very vocal and well-known faction of Narkans. They have made their distaste of Xiratians and other "inferior" species known and oppose all interspecies relations, especially ones involving Narkans and therefore "tainting" the human race. They seek to eradicate the galaxy of Xiratians and Veerans and be the only human race left.

Founded by an anonymous Veeran in 2128, the Maveka have risen as the main faction in opposition to the Runka. While there are other smaller opposing factions, the often help the Maveka as they have the resources and galactic funding. Composed mostly of Xiratians, they seek to defeat Jorge and his followers and live peacefully.

The Luxn Order is a noble monastic order united in their devotion to the light side of Kavana. The Luxn stood as the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy. Each Master is only allowed to take on one apprentice, known as a padawan.

The Obscurans, also referred to as the Noxyn Order, are an order of Kavana users devoted to the dark side. Driven by their emotions, including hate, anger, and greed, the Obscurans were deceptive and obsessed with gaining power no matter the cost. Each Lord is only allowed to take on one apprentice, known as a padawan.
