*Taehyung chuckles lightly as he gets up from his seat when you order a lemonade* oh you do? What is on your mind? *he smirks lightly before parting his lips and speaking again* you seem fond of that drink. Why’s that? Or is it you don’t want coffee so you order the lemonade instead? *he asks in a more comfortable, slightly teasing tone*

He was tired and over the feeling of having to hide and appear small as to not attract unwanted attention from his father. It was beyond ridiculous that he, as an adult, was very much acting like a child not wanting to be reprimanded. He was beyond ready to take over the family business and get rid of his father’s influence over his life. Chanyeol had yet to figure out the specifics, but he knew he had to do something to stop the cycle of hate and fear. Perhaps it was the desperation that was driving him down this road, but he was ready not to look back.

He looked at Taehyung when he mentioned a drink for the road. His gaze then fell back onto his empty cup. The frown that had slipped onto his face slowly disappeared, replaced with a tentative smile.

“Why not?”

He moved to get up from the chair, looking over to the counter with the register. A lemonade will suffice.

“I have one vaguely in mind, a little abstract but you know… it works, for me.”

*chanyeol seemed quite tired and almost done? He nods understanding the feeling. He as well, even if not the same as your inner conflicts, had his own struggles on who he was outside the universe being different than inside his universe. He stands up* I’m sure we can find someone. Are you going to get any drinks for the road? *points to the coffee* also I’m not sure what is needed for a tattoo. Maybe…hm…did you pick a design or know of one you want yet?

Chanyeol exhaled, his eyes closing shut as he sat with himself. He reflected on what he had been through up to that point and his want, and need for the tattoo. Opening his eyes, he looks over to Taehyung. "Sure, that would be a great help," he pauses, "might as well go ahead if we find someone who can do one well. Have anyone in mind or know where to start looking?"

*as normal as they were, that may be due to the fact that in order to blend in with human society, it was a rule to not be visible to the human eye in our universe. So it only made sense to mask oneself and behave like one. But also, the ones you met had history and memories of a human past so even being a human in appearance only helped rekindle some of those emotions. Especially his servant’s inner turmoil.* oh- *he continued sipping his coffee.* I wonder…I guess we can go ahead and look for artists? Do you need time or would you like to get it done tonight?

@「 kTᵛ 」∴ human ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ Chanyeol tapped his empty plastic cup, listening to Taehyung's words. It was a bit intriguing if not terrifying to acknowledge the existence of other worldly creatures. While the shock and astonishment has since been quelled from the original discovery of the multiverse, the business student was still reeling over the emotional turmoil. Despite the knowledge that he knew of the other three being more than just human, such as himself, they still felt very 'normal' when it came to interactions, on most occasions.

"If that is the case, then best to do it around here. No evidence or possibility of being trailed here as I would be back home."

"Well I suppose I should have been thankful for that as long as it lasted," he added with a dry chuckle, "Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to meet me here."

@「chanyeol」∶ human Good question *places his coffee down, finger tapping the cup* most likely it would not matter. This is the same body you are in from the university right? And you are traveling to and from with it yes? So I suppose it’s much more different than my own circumstances. The supernatural are not allowed there visibly in that world. It is why you only ever were approached by my servant in dreams until he gained a human vessel- and also the reason for my human appearance.

@「 kTᵛ 」∴ human ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ A thought came to his head. "Would it matter if I get done here or back at home?" He had wondered if things within the multiverse were limited within this space. If he ventured back home, would it disappear only to reappear here when he traveled over? "I suppose you are right. We are individuals trying to figure ourselves out. Even if we come from different circumstances."

@「chanyeol」∶ human *smiles sipping his coffee* that is quite a nice way to look at it. I’ve never thought about it for myself but your situation is very different from my own so… *nods humming* I suppose it fits better. For me, I still appear as I am with my bright orange or platinum blonde hair over there. As for me, that has kept me sane- keeping my roots as is helps with grounding myself more than changing everything there as well *chuckles* quite interesting for the minds no? We both are trying to ground ourselves but are taking opposite approaches *smirks*

I'm not the same person I was before I met any of you... and I won't be the same one a few months down the line. Suppose grounding yourself is a better way of looking at it, figuring out what you like without expectation. A new slate, a new era of one's life." He can't help but chuckle. "Didn't mean for this to get so psychological."

All I can tell you is as long as you are alive, you will have to continue to live that life- but I consider that a blessing as you have roots to attach to when you’re feeling lost from too much freedom that you won’t remember who you originally were before- because yes, apparently that can occur too

@「 kTᵛ 」∴ human ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ "I suppose I will remain in such a community until I graduate a little after. Taking over the business won't be so difficult then... right under that man's nose," he smirks. "What fun." Chanyeol finishes his drink, nodding along with Taehyung's words. He wouldn't know for sure how far he would push a physical change, but it had been happening over the past year or so. That and the multiverse have given him a freedom he had no access to before. He would just have to be careful back home until he was no longer part of the school. "Graduating early has never seemed too pleasing before now."

@「chanyeol」∶ human *chuckles* that would be quite an effort of rebellion. I have heard from my servant’s accounts that he and V’s version of our university was much much more closed and restricted. I suppose that may be also why even if he wanted a tattoo like you do now he never got one. Though I could not tell you why now he does not get any even so free in the multiverse. But- I do agree. Just as long as you like and accept your appearance out of just a rebellious streak, you should be okay with whatever comes your way.

Well, I guess I just hope I have enough restraint as not to cover myself up with tattoos," he adds with a grin. "Though I might do it just to see the old man's face." He can't stop the smirk that forms on his lips.

@「chanyeol」∶ human I’m sure whatever choices you will make, as long as it pushes the envelope, you would most likely not get much push back from my servant or me on it. Especially him. However…looking at us demons and assuming everyone is all the time is the wrong assumption. Yes, in a once very conservative university, is such a hush hush topic so many desire I’m the forbidden more like any kind of restriction. Once having freedom, restrained individuals can become unhealthy. And yet- it is mostly up to the individual. Very similar to being restricted from having a phone until you go to college can be a detriment to grades

Chanyeol can't help but conclude that his earliest ual encounter was the dream Taehyung's servant had pulled him into. He had no reference before then, physically at least. Before then the concept of was very dry, like a passage from a science book. "I suppose you're right. Though I can't help but wonder what other choices I will end up making once I break the... seal," he muttered with a chuckle.

"But good to know Jeongguk will step in if needed... though really I only see it happening when he's bored out of his mind," he adds with a chuckle. "I am getting to the point where I am about ready to just dump everything and not look back," he groans, finishing his iced coffee. "I at least know of one who won't give a damn about it, so not alone," he adds with a shrug. "But I suppose I should start small... it would be easier to hide."

@「chanyeol」∶ human *he leans forward in anticipation before relieving a sigh of relief at your words. He was anticipating hard work or even maybe something more drastic* a tattoo…I see. Knowing the community of people we are from, I would say it’s definitely a difficult choice. How visible you plan for it to be is key but I feel like the group of humans you are with- even if they see it by mistake, you would automatically be given odd looks. I for one am a loner for being different from the legacy students already. And you as a legacy student yourself may feel the of that. So…I suppose it will depend on the legacy students you are with? All I can assure you is my servant already has you as his territory so he will be the one to control the narrative so there is not much backlash though he may also be the cause of it too in a way to control it- but as to that extent I’m not sure if that helps answer your question

Chanyeol takes a sip of his drink again, closing his eyes for a second. "Deciding on whether or not it's stupid of me to get a tattoo, seeing as I still have to go back and face the consequences after the fact," he admits.

Then that is good you came to me first since I’m a silent shadow of a demon there- though I cannot do anything but I am still new that I have a stronger grip on things. "I've just been thinking of getting something done, a permanent change? I mean, I'll be able to hide it if I need to but still, the freedom this," he gives a hand a wave, vaguely mentioning the area as a whole, "place has given me is something I want to explore more. Might bite my back home but, why not give it a chance?"

@「chanyeol」∶ human *considering you knew him from the original university as well as possibly his original awkward appearance, he definitely was the best unbiased yet familiar being you could talk to. But if you wished for a truly impartial being, that would have been V instead. Still, it was rare the both of them would give opposite advice given they were both taehyungs, V’s would just have been much more unapologetic. Taehyung just was around and has been right in the front hosting humans long enough to adjust his delivery more than V could.*

@「 kTᵛ 」∴ human ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ He wanted no sympathy. He figured Taehyung was as much as a stranger to offer an opinion when asked without needing to be complimentary. It was such a silly thing, but a permanent change. Why not get an opinion instead of just making an impulse decision? Chanyeol at least wanted to use that as an excuse to run his stupid ideas off on someone instead of just himself.

"Sort of, more like I wanted your opinion," he takes a sip of his drink, " Nothing big, just... well," he felt slightly stupid now that he was bringing it up.

@「chanyeol」∶ human *unlike you, maybe Taehyung still had a few memories to make in that original university. Afterall, that was his original world and where his core memories were held. But also that may be related to his own supernatural nature. You thought were a human traveling across universes which could only be possible because of the nature of the multiverse itself. So he expected sooner or not his other universe occupant to have his own questions about how to go about life. However, he never expected that a message would pop up on his own phone from you. Out of anybody, he may not truly be sympathetic enough. But no matter what, he’d act even in his unemotional state.*

@「 kTᵛ 」∴ human ˢʰᵃᵈᵒʷ The cafe had turned out to be one of Chanyeol's favorite places. There was always a sense of peace and calm whenever he visited, which he enjoyed. It was a welcomed change to the environment back home. He'd been spending more time here than back home, which he should find more concerning. Yet, Chanyeol shrugged off the fact that he only ever returned for classes, meetings, and sleep. Any free time he did have, he spent within the multiverse. He sighed and tucked himself into the booth, taking a sip of his iced coffee, a plate with a red velvet cupcake beside it.

He had texted Taehyung, asking him to meet at his earliest convenience. Perhaps it was a mundane reason, but he wanted to hear the other's opinion on something that had been on Chanyeol's mind for the past week or so. He figured the other would have no reason to hold back his opinion if he were to ask. Their last meeting had gone so decently well that Chanyeol decided he was likely the best to ask. It was something trivial, but he had no one else to ask. Now all that was left was to wait for the other to show up.
