*Jeongguk smiles after the praising the others, thinking you’re going to suggest them to be included in the project- as they actually were important for all of his final solutioning. But instead you let them out early and his own heart started racing. Yes! An hour early? He could do a lot with that time. Maybe go get a drink early. Well- as long as there no other lingering questions for his subordinates. But when the ceo himself said all except for Jeongguk, his heart dropped just as fast as it raced. Well … more work. Yeah this is still a very much racing culture but as a ceo you’re usually the type to value rest time more so..why him. Once everyone left, he got up and smiled professionally. Maybe the faster he can get whatever work done he needs, the faster he can also have that time off* so to your office again then jungkook-shi?

*after the small talk that went on for almost most of the first half of the meeting, when it came closer to negotiating times, it seemed like Jeongguk was personable enough as the men and some the women joked heartily around the room. If it wasn’t for a few people like Jeongguk, this room would become very much like a group of kids in adult bodies with their pettiness.
