surely, I hope this letter finds you safe. it's quite a surprise hearing from you kind sir, here I was beginning to worry that you would be... what's a kind word to call the decease? hm, either way, it's lovely to know you are alive and thriving well, I expected nothing less of the great mister salvatore. i returned the sentiment of using muggle mail as well for you. never fear, I am not one to judge the use of mail, it's nice to see that muggles are important no less to us in times of need.

i shall... not feed into my curiosity and nosy nature to find out just what it is you are planning or what circumstance you may be in. i surely hope that you are safe and doing well, are you quite alright, sir? if you wish to entertain me with your 'situation,' don't be shy, I would love to see and hear more from you. in great detail.

let's see, there's this little fair ongoing, a convention they call it. I've been trying my best to scout other wizards and witches out and about - selling my potions, as you know, I am an avid believer in their benefits, even if others won't agree with my... rather reckless devices. either way, I'm hoping to have made you proud. i am managing just fine, and staying under the radar all the same. I've taken a liking to some wizards here and there, a new obsession would be a boy at hogwarts. naive and awfully attractive, he's easy to toy and play with.

he reminds me of a good version that's you. maybe that's why I like him? who knows? when I have more details and intel on the situation, feeling it out and all, I shall let you know how it all goes and unravels in the end.

receiving a parcel from you was a pleasant (and dreadful) surprise. though, almost two years has passed and i expected a much more sentimental message on your behalf. from the bottom of my heart, i am /almost/ hurt by your words. it felt akin to being hit by a tirade of waves unleashed by the ocean. however, i’m flattered that you are this concerned about my pendant, hell even more than i am. you really have held your end of the bargain, so no need to be so concerned about being part of my “body count” or whatever nonsense you are on. i’m deeply sorry for my actions and i won’t ever fiddle with my necklace again.

quite frankly, you do not even deserve a howler sent by me because it’s a waste of my time and effort, and you do not deserve a single ounce of it. Whatever you’re trying to do the break the blood pact, I would like for you to stop fiddling with it. honestly, it annoys me. and, as much as you hate it, trust me, I hate it much more than you do. I’m not entirely sure what your motive is behind this, but, it is nasty enough that you’re using vile dark magic to break it. Unless you’re out there for my life, which, to be honest, has not much use to you, except to add to the count, I suggest you get your wand and your hands off it.
