The sun was setting, and Daehyeon's muscles were growing tired. A day had been spent searching all over town for supplies that he could help restock the colony with supplies and food. Sparky, Daehyeon's companion, had been helping him sniff out areas, and keeping him on guard when he was distracted searching through piles. Though, he was ready to go home and get some much needed rest and get the load of stuff off of his back, Sparky, seemed to have other plans.
The dog had been on edge about something ever since the two of them had left the police station, and though night was coming fast Sparky had been moving at an unbelievably slow pace. "What is it, Sparks?" Daehyeon asked, finally bringing himself to a stop, his eyes meeting the dogs as if he was expecting him to actually speak. The dog's nose lifted in the air, taking in the smell before a sharp bark as it ran off in the opposite direction of the colony.

Despite being just a dog, that was Daehyeon's companion and one of his most reliable buddies, he couldn't let him run off alone, no matter how tired he was. His feet had moved under him quicker than he could think, wanting to yell after the dog, but afraid that the dogs bark had already caused too much noise pollution and would bring the dead their way. 'What the are you after?' Daehyeon said trying to keep his breath steady as he followed.
