The first thing Jungkook registered was the cold breeze of the wind on his face as he exited the warmth of the black car he had been driven in. His gaze meanwhile settling on the cottage he'll be residing in for the time being, it seemed perfect, spacious yet cozy as if welcoming you in with ease. This would be the perfect place for Jungkook to take a break off his busy work schedule. Jungkook loved acting he really did, it was his passion, the thing that just came naturally to him. However he couldn't lie that for a few weeks he had felt...off? He could try pushing through maybe continue to take on other projects while pushing this to the back of his mind but what good would that do? Other than maybe coming off distracted in front of the camera or not give the performance he should be giving.
"Listen Kook, are you paying attention?" The feminine voice was familiar as it rang through his ears, his gaze moving away from the welcoming cottage to settle on his manager, Eunkyung. Jungkook let out a soft chuckle while giving a light nod of his head he really couldn't admit to her how he wasn't listening at all. "Of course I was listening, I'm always listening." He spoke as his hand came up to brush his hair out of his face, his lips forming into a rather cheeky grin. "What did I say then?" her arms now crossing across her chest causing her coat to wrinkle slightly at the arms. Jungkook's eyebrows furrow slightly trying his best to not seem shaken after all he didn't want to get an earful about how listening is important and how communication is key, he already knew that. "Well you were talking about..." Jungkook's lips pursed slightly as if to think only to clear his throat as he stepped back. "My...schedule?" his voice a bit hopeful however he knew this definitely wasn't what she was talking about but there was no harm in guessing. A humorless laugh left her lips as she tossed her head back before she looked at Jungkook with a rather unamused look on her face. "No, my dear distracted Kook. I was actually asking you to behave this may be a small town but you still need to uphold your image." her voice was soft but also as if warning, her lithe hand coming up to give Jungkook a light pat on the shoulder.
Public image, of course Jungkook remembered it was all about his public image it was really something he wasn't fond of when it came to being in the spotlight. But unfortunately that came with the job of being an actor always being in the spotlight of the public eye. He had honestly just come to accept it though he couldn't deny it was a bit of hinderance sometimes but Jungkook loved acting he wasn't going to let the task of upholding a public image stop him from loving the art of acting. "Yes, I'm aware I'll behave I'm kind of hurt you think I wouldn't." A feigned hurt tone in his voice while bringing a hand up over his chest as his lips parted to let out an almost dramatic gasp. Eunkyung only rolled her eyes while shaking her head. "You're so dramatic anyway it's time I get going please remember what I told you. You're only here for a few days so please enjoy it, I'm just a phone call away, Kook." She smile at him while giving him one last pat on the shoulder only to promptly disappear back into the warmth of the car with the door closing behind her. Jungkook watched the car drive off for a moment almost playfully waving at it as it drove off a moment later he brought his gaze down to his bags situated on the cold ground. "Well, here I am again Wineport." he spoke mostly to himself as a small smile settled on his lips while he bent down slightly to pick up his bags up by their handles from the cold ground before making his way into the warmth of the cozy cottage.
:pointed fingers: Sorry for not applying these past few days. I'm having a crisis with another muse that I'm being coaxed to experiment with. I'll try to get in once all is stable.
