As birds chirp just outside the window of her office, Miyeon types away while her eyes shift quickly side to side. The baggage of being Mayor was not for the weak but when she first moved in, the opportunity seemed to have fallen into her lap --- quite literally. While riding the greyhound bus, an abrupt stop caused a middled aged woman to drop the newspaper in her lap. Help wanted blared across the front page of the Wineport Gazette. The last mayor had passed and no one was willing to take up the position.

Miyeon, at that time, had no other prospects. She had just left the big city after realizing that the modeling world was definitely not for her. She had never went to college but she knew the ins and outs of how to handle a business (thanks to her parents)-- and that's simply what got her the position. Day and night, she learned and adapted quickly. Backpiles of untouched permits, plans and paper work. She had so much to catch up on.

Maybe she was in over her head, maybe she was insane. But she wasn't one to quit because eventually, her love for the town grew more than she had ever realized. Miyeon advertised Wineport and it's quaint downtown area. Flaunted it's historic vineyards.

"....Oh lady, running down to the riptide..."

A melodic hum pushed through her lips, her head sways side to side as she kept a fountain pen in between her fingers, signing off contracts and more permits. Upon hearing the click of her door and an unfamiliar voice greeting her, she looked up as her eyes fell upon a man. a rather -- handsome man. so breathtaking it makes her blank out. "Uh...I....my....you..." she stutters before quickly standing, banging her knee against the edge sharply. "Ah, ." she grumbled before an embarrassed blush paints across her entire face.

"Yes, uh. Of course. It's no problem, it's my job after all, mister....Song?" she questioned. As he held out a lucious bouquet of yellow flowers, her heart stopped and her jaw nearly fell off. "I...wow. That's so...kind of you? No one has ever...gone out of there way to do this." she says as she held the bouquet in her hands, inhaling deeply. Flickering her eyes downwards, she catches sight of a golden ribbon holding it all together. A soft chuckle leaves her lips as she looks up at him, "It's such a nice touch -- the ribbon." she says. "Also, please, for the love of all things great, just call me Miyeon." The corner of her lips lift in a charming smile, holding out her hand for him to shake.

@cho miyeon despite not having spoken to the woman in almost fifteen years, the manners his mother has bestowed upon altair never quite faded - always say your please and thank yous, always have a kind word or two on your lips, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. (well, perhaps that last one has not remained as fresh in his memory as the other ones ; he did not exactly believe in empty niceties at this point in his life.)

perhaps said manners was why he has spent almost close to an hour in the flower shop, picking out a bouquet for a woman he has never met. mayor cho miyeon, a name he only knew from the local paper and the countless permits he needed to have signed during the few too short weeks it took him to turn what must have been an ancient little storefront into his shining new studio with a tiny apartment above it to boot. if you were to ask altair, the woman must have been a gift from the gods itself; what with her making his work so easy, supporting an artist as unconvential as he was. he knew half of the changes he made to the building purely for aesthetics did not need to be done and yet every request he has made to the city was approved within a day or two, quick and efficient.

so there he was - dressed in his sundays best, or whatever counted as that within his closet these days, with a bouquet of sunflowers, chrysanthemums and alstroememias of the most vibrant yellow shades in his hand, all of them bound together by a golden ribbon that has spent the previous several nights among the trinkets on his altar. a quick knock on the door and a push of the knob had him stand within the treshold, charming grin resting easily upon his lips, eyes already scanning the room.

"miss cho, i believe?" he asked in lieu of a greeting the moment his eyes settled on a woman behind the desk. the sight was surprising, though not unwelcome - far younger than what he imagined, with delicate features rivaling those of some of the goddess statues that littered his little studio. the word ethereal came to mind, lovely, sweet. it caused his grin to brighten into something more sincere as he stepped further into the room, voice dropping into a warmer drawl. "altair song, what a pleasure t'finally meet ya', miss. came around to thank ya' nice and proper for making my arrival in your pretty little town here so nice and easy," he continued, holding out the flowers with both hands, as was only polite. "here. token of my appreciation. a small one, i fear."

It had been a while since Lucy saw the town mayor, so to say she was concerned was an understatement. Where was security and Miyeon's personal guards who knows, so with worry in hand Lucy slowly picked the lock on the office doors, quietly listening and upon hearing the successful 'click' of the lock being unlocked, Lucy just casually made her way in, silently holding up her badge to the cameras before looking around in amazement, only to make a small sigh as she lays upon Miyeon's desk and silently sobs. "Miss Cho where are you?! I miss you and your presence."
