Nayeon hummed, tilting her head as if giving Taewoo’s offer serious thought. “Hmm… tempting”, she mused, a playful glint in her eyes. “I’d love to take you up on that, but there’s one small problem…I don’t have a license.” She pressed her lips together, feigning sheepishness before breaking into a grin. “So unless you want to be responsible for a whole new level of chaos, you might want to rethink that offer.”

As Aiko turned her attention to Taewoo, confirming his name with a soft laugh, Nayeon simply observed, amusement tugging at the corners of . The sheer number of “Tae’s” in the cast was becoming a running joke in her head at this point.

At Taewoo's question about their plan, Nayeon glanced around, noting the sparse crowd before offering a breezy shrug. “No real plan yet, but I think you’d make the perfect woman in red.” She shot Aiko a knowing look, mischief dancing in her gaze. “I got the better angry face between us. Much more convincing.”

before he added more to his reply, he heard the distant patter of footsteps approaching them. his conversation with nayeon fell to a rather comfortable silence, presumably to give space to the new arrival. aiko, she introduced herself politely. judging from her demeanor, she seemed to be on the shyer side.

turning his head to look at her, he reciprocated with a polite smile of his own, humored by the mention of the multiple taes in the cast.

“yes, you got it right. quite a sharp mind you got there for distinguishing me from them.”

he remarked, before listening to her question attentively, surveying his surroundings briefly.

“well… do any of you ladies have a preference for being the one in the red? obviously, i don’t have a stake in this matter.”

@[♡] seo nayeon. @[♡] go taewoo. “Nayeon!” She chirped, “and..you must be tae…woo?” aiko released a soft laughter. “just making sure i got it right? It’s quite unusual that we have so many gentlemen starting with tae on this show. she continued. “i met them yesterday, and you’re the only tae i have not met, so i’m going to assume i got it right.” aiko flashes the other a sheepish grin before turning to back to the female. “I did not get to greet you this morning before i left, i hope you got a good rest!”

“So anyway! how are we going to do this? do we have a plan or something?” Clapping her hands together, aiko gave her surrounding a quick glance around before turning back to the pair. “It’s a good thing there’s not much people at this time, i suppose?”

She let a beat pass before responding, lifting a hand to shake his with a light grip, neither too firm nor too fleeting. “That’s right, I’m Nayeon”, she confirmed, her voice warm yet measured. “Master of mirror selcas, but sadly, not a master at parallel parking. I might have to learn from you.” A slight smile played on her lips, teasing but not unserious.

Before she could answer his question, the sound of quick steps interrupted them. Nayeon turned, spotting Aiko approaching with an apologetic look, the slight rush in her movements betraying her worry.

“There you are”, Nayeon said, her tone effortlessly smoothing over the moment. “We didn’t wait too long, don’t worry.” She offered Aiko a reassuring smile, as if to dissolve any lingering guilt. Then, glancing back at Taewoo, she let the conversation settle into its natural shift, allowing Aiko’s presence to weave into whatever dynamic had just begun to take shape.

@[♡] seo nayeon. @[♡] go taewoo. having just finished a meeting earlier on, it was already evening when aiko noticed the time. She was running a little late for the agreed timing and by the time she arrived, there was a gentle glow from the setting sun. aiko had hoped the other two contestants did not mind her tardiness. taewoo and nayeon, though she had not talked to them at the welcome party, they seemed nice and she was determined to changed that first impression—if any—they had of her.

Her manager had dropped her off behind a bmw, oddly enough, it felt like she had seen this car before, and she did, true enough she spots the two other contestants not too far from where she was.

“oh my, i’m truly sorry for being late.” her cheeks were slightly flushed from the short jog and her tardiness as she waved her hands. “I hope you both didn’t need to wait long, i’m aiko, nice to meet you both… again.” aiko greets sheepishly.

@[♡] seo nayeon. @[♡] aiko miyoshi. hearing a woman’s voice near him, taewoo turned to face her with little hurry. meeting a beautiful face paired with the coyness tinged in her voice, he felt a sense of intrigue disturb from the haze of indifference that settled upon him from the slow week. after all, he could take this respite before the start of their photoshoot to truly get to know the fellow subjects.

“i think the fact you even paid attention hints at some interest, no?” he chuckled lightly after his remark, before letting his eyes meet hers. seemingly the subject of her perusal, he wasn’t shy to let her know his mild interest in her as well.

“but in case you don’t know, i’m taewoo, a master at parallel parking, obviously. and i assume you’re nayeon?” with his voice raised in query, he extended a hand out of politeness. “i hope i got that right.”

“i noticed that you’re here alone, you have any idea if the other girl is coming here soon?”

@[♡] go taewoo. @[♡] aiko miyoshi. Nayeon stepped onto the pavement, the golden shimmer of the river catching her eye before her gaze settled on the sleek BMW. Of course, he drove. Some people had all the advantages - speed, control, the luxury of arriving on their own terms.

She exhaled softly, scanning the area until her eyes landed on Taewoo. He’d been elusive at the welcome party, slipping through introductions with the ease of someone accustomed to keeping his distance. But today, there was no avoiding each other.

Approaching, she let a smirk curl at her lips, tilting her head slightly. “I hope you don’t expect me to be impressed by your parking skills”, she teased, though her gaze lingered, quietly taking his measure.

@[♡] seo nayeon. @[♡] aiko miyoshi. arriving within daytime to mimic the sun glow depicted in the challenge, taewoo pulled over and parked his bmw x4 to the nearest street, waiting for the other contestants by the bridge.
bathed in the warm glow of the sunlight was the river he often visited to relieve stress from a busy schedule or a telemarketer harassing him through his phone.

raising his eyebrow at the challenge initially, he decided to withhold judgement until he met the contestants he was paired with. it was a shame he couldn’t catch a glance of them during the welcome party and within the kitchen, but at least he could rectify his errors today.
