Hospital

Place of work for some and place of healing for others.

@Jeon Hyosung As Leeteuk left the room he was smiling in spite of himself. Sometimes he forgot just how far removed he was from others, having been gone from the world so long. It was not often that he enjoyed a conversation that much, and he was glad for the distraction.

While walking down the hallway a doctor rushed past him, and his smile disappeared. He could hear the flatline from here and the yelling of doctors that followed. He dropped the basket of plush toys.

Leeteuk slowly walked to the room and sat in a chair opposite the door. It was amazing how every time he was reminded of the infinite beauty of other people's company he was slapped in the face with the realities of this world.

He closed his eyes as he felt the presence of the patient leaving.

It broke his heart every time.

"Oh I'm sorry, my name is Leeteuk. Usually I would have introduced myself properly earlier, sorry about that. Thank you for the jello offer, but I'm on a strict no diarrhea inducing hospital food diet. Bar fight huh, then bike accident? Wow that's an eventful night..."

Leeteuk scanned the room again, looking for cards or any flowers left by friends. He was sad to see there were none. He was used to being alone so the levity of this conversation was welcome, but he hoped she was not in the same position.

"Well I'll leave you to the rest of your night, I have some more stops to make before these stuffed toys spoil. Look they've already started to melt. Ugh cute all over me, that'll never wash out.." He said with a smirk on his face.

With that Leeteuk left the room, whistling to himself. Whimsy never suited him well, but sometimes it helped to not be serious in places like these.

@Leeteuk "I'm not a fan of jello so I wouldn't know but you are more then welcome to it." Hyosung gestured to her untouched dessert. "I only call you such because you have yet to supply me a name by which to refer to you as." She motioned to the chair next to the bed.

"I got in a bar fight then crashed my bike. I don't really want to be in this place and I should be here long. Hospitals aren't really my scene."

@Jeon Hyosung "Kind masked stranger? Aren't you an interesting one. What brought you here anyways? Of all the people I see in these places you seem a tad out of place." Leeteuk looked over the room. "You know what though... I bet this place isn't so bad - they seem to have fixed you up pretty damned good. Nice curtains...How's the jello anyways?"

@Leeteuk Hyosung glanced from the garbage to the door and back. Over the last minute she went back to believing that he was a patient that had escaped from the mental ward.

"That has to be some sick kind of innuendo. Those poor rabbits." Swinging her legs over the side of the bed she attempted to stand. The feeling still wasn't fully there and she collapsed back into the bed. pushing herself up she attempted again this time succeeding. Stumbling over the garbage she retrieved the poor discarded creature.

"He may not be magical now but I do know someone that can fix that. Thank you, kind masked stranger, for the gift of cute unmagical fluffiness."

@Jeon Hyosung Leeteuk walked over to Jeon and took the little rabbit he had given her in his hand and held it up to his ear. "Oh no!", he said with emphatically, "this is not one of the special ones!" and tossed the stuffed toy into the garbage, abruptly walking out the door.

He stuck his head in the room again, looked straight at Jeon and said to her with the straightest face he could manage " And by the way grown men LOVE my rabbits!"

@Leeteuk "Light up faces like on small children? I'm sorry but I can't see too many burley men who go all starry eyed when handed a stuffed animal and told that it cures cancer." She set the animal on the table next to her bed and chuckled.

"That in itself is a very amusing thought though and I do thank you for the laugh. I do know that I have no idea who you are...or why it is that you are passing out colorful stuffed rabbits that cure cancer." She glanced at the infernal machine that kept beeping at her. It was really starting to annoy her.

'My enhanced hearing makes this really horrible. No wonder I hate hospitals.' Hyosung turned her attention back to the man at the door.

@Jeon Hyosung "I was trying to portray just how amazing it was, that's all" Leeteuk responded, "I find sometimes looking like a fool is worthwhile if it provides others with a genuine smile."

Leeteuk took one bunny from his basket and looked at it.

"Honestly sometimes the way these little fellows light up faces you would think they were magic."
Jeon Hyosung [A] 11 years ago
@Leeteuk Hyosung tilted her head in question at the stuffed creature laying sideways on her bed. Cute as it was she was confused. Sure there were witches that could cast spells on objects to make you healthy or give you luck but she had never heard of one using them on stuffed toys.

Glancing at the man, head still to the side she questioned his sanity. Maybe he was an escaped patient from the mental ward. Shrugging she stretched, wincing at the tightness of her muscles from lack of disuse, and brought the rabbit to her.

"It is indeed cute but you do realize that I don't have cancer so this adorable little fellow won't really be helping me much." Turning the rabbit to the side she smiled at the man.

"Thank you none the less. I'm sure that, even without it's cancer curingness it'll still be an excellent bedside companion."

@Jeon Hyosung Leeteuk was walking down the corridors of the hospital. Wednesday was here again and he came armed...this time with little stuffed bunnies. The pink ones were his favorite.

He didn't bother with the trenchcoat this time, since he decided just to have his wings hidden since he didn't anticipate needing his angelic abilities here.

Did the looks people gave his basket of stuffed toys bother him? Heck no! The guys scoffed, the women smiled and he was having fun.

He passed by another quiet room and peeked inside. Ah, Leeteuk thought to himself, this one is different. Not human for sure...felt...feral? Leeteuk nodded to himself, definitely as werewolf. Something in the movement.

"Hey miss, would you like a bunny?" He said while smiling wide, "...they're completely awesome and cure cancer..."

He tossed one onto her bed by her feet, chuckling to himself. He thought a purple one with a black bow would be just the ticket.

Awakening to the sight of a ceiling Hyosung blinked and tried to clear her mind. Something had happened, what exactly she couldn't remember, that had put her in a place she didn't recognize. Forcing her senses to focus harder she finally registered an annoying beep. As it continued her haze addled brain finally woke up enough to realize where she was.

'I'm in the hospital.' Groaning as she forced her weary body into a sitting position she tried to recall the events that lead to her ending up in this place that smelled of death, disease and disinfectant. An image of her motorcycle came to mind and she let out another groan. Again she had done something stupid.

"It was all that bikers fault." She growled under her breathe just remembering him. She and a friend had stopped off at a bar after a late night run through the woods. One of the men was getting a little too 'friendly' with her. After she dumped a drink down the front of him a fight had broken out. She had refrained from using her full strength, they were only humans after all, and ended up walking away with a few cuts and bruises. Her friend had advised her to take a cab home but she had ignored her. The last thing she remembered was her vision blurring and her bike careening off the road.

Flopping back onto the bed and causing herself some slight discomfort she prayed her bike was ok. She could feel her were healing mending her body and smiled. She would be out of here soon.

Rushing doctors, busy nurses...none noticed the quiet stranger walking through the hallways. If the trenchcoat hadn't been necessary to hide the truth of him Leeteuk wouldn't have worn it out of respect for the sanctity of this place of healing.

It was Wednesday however, and it was random flowers day.

While he walked past rooms he would glance into them and extend his senses to detect whether the patients inside needed a random kindness. When he found a suitable target (preferably sleeping or incapacitated) he would quietly slip into the room and place the flowers by the bedside. Call it mercy, call it charity, simply put it was important.

He only wished he could do more.

Luckily the doctors and nurses didn't seem to mind. Next Wednesday though Leeteuk figured he'd bring balloons. Or a teddy. Eternity is so much more fun when you shake things up!

Can I be Tiffany of Girl's Generation?

Species: Werewolf

Character Background: Tiffany had grown up on her own, after her single mother abandoned her in the woods as a toddler when she found out that she could change into a wolf. As cliché as it sounds, a mother wolf saw her and took her in as her own. Tiffany learned everything she needed to know from the mother wolf, except how to handle human life. Is there someone out there that would be willing to help her learn to control her transforming and become a normal human?
