Ren walks slowly through the garden, the mist from the morning evanescent in the air, leaving small droplets of dew on the delicate petals of the roses and the thin blades of grass. The air smelled sweetly of the pink flowers that peeked through the green hedges. Ren smiled and brushed his finger against a single leaf, intrigued by the way the water could bead up and roll off- like a glass marble on a green velvet curtain. He pulled his cloak tighter around his shoulders as the day had not yet been graced by the warm and comforting sun. He listened to the pebbles crunch beneath his feet and he softly glided to the marble entryway to his castle.
He slowly entered the hall, a false sense of nostalgia weighing down on his shoulders. His round brown orbs scanned the emptiness of the room, falling back to the floor as he make his way cautiously up the pink-carpeted staircase. A sigh escaped his perfectly proportionate, pink lips as he finally reached the top. He turn left and ascended yet another staircase. He entered the room at the very end of a seemingly mile-long hallway, as if he knew that one.
The ordeal seemed so real, as if he had actually been there once, walking beside another. He slowly made his way into the excessively large room and dropped his cloak as if he were accustomed to doing so. His long, flowing white dress brushed slightly against the posts at the end of the framed bed, catching on a splintered piece. A frown ran across his lips as he carefully unhooked the gossamer fabric. He sat ever-so-slowly on the bed, half-expecting it to disappear as he touched it.
A golden-framed picture beside the bed caught his eye. He reached over and grabbed it with a stable hand. As his eyes slowly examined the painting, they began to fill with hot tears. His solemn air shattered as every single memory flooded back to him. He was married, he was a queen... He had it all. He let out a sob as the word /had/ repeated in his subconscious. He /had/ everything. No more would he share a lover's glance or a warm embrace.
The queen sat alone in his castle, no life near him for a seemingly-endless mile.
'How had this become so? Where did my love go? Will I find someone- anyone... to hold? Someone to converse with?'
@❁ Prince Yifan Prince Jongjin Ren blinked and nodded slowly, starting to look the slightest bit confused, "Alright and what do you want me to do about that?" He asked, not really sure what Prince Jongjin really thought Ren was suppose to do. Did he want him to take the dog to the vet or something? This seemed like a long way to go just to convince someone to take a dog to the vet.
Yifan glared at the prince and huffed angrily as he watched Jongjin pull Minki out of the room. He sighed and folded his arms, trying to calm down as he sat back in the chair, waiting for the two to come back.
"Take them." He took Minki's hand and bowed in a slightly mocking manner, "Why thanks." He began to pull Minki out the room and just to tick of Kris, he winked and smirked before exiting the room. He closed the door behind him and walked them down the hallway into a different room. "My sister, Princess Baekhyun wanted a dog for her birthday. So, I got her one but he's sick and I don't know what to do. I tried taking him to a vet but he got scared I'd kill him. I mean, I did threaten his life, but in a friendly manner."
@❁ Prince Jongjin "I'll go with you on one condition, there's a few pieces of my mother's jewelry I want. You have the rest of the money and the gold in my Kingdom, I just want my mother's stuff." Minki said, kissing Kris softly and giving him a reassuring smile before he stood up and walked over to Prince Jongjin, "I'll trust you." he said, placing his hand in the other Prince's.
@❁ Prince Jongjin Yifan watched and listened to the prince, already disapproving of whatever it was the young male had to to. He growled and looked away before biting his lip and letting out a soft huff. "Its your choice, Minki.." he mumbled under his hot breath.
@❁ Prince Yifan Jongjin thought for a while. Picking his move carefully, he would get the land. He'd get to kill someone. He'd even get some of the villagers if they choose to stay with him. Which they probably won't but oh well. He stayed silent looking Minki dead in the face trying to weigh out his options. He came up with a final decision and got up, "I need to do one thing first and that requires Minki. Now, you're going to have to trust me, which I understand is hard. However, this is something I have to do." He tilted his head and held his hand out to Minki, "Do I have your permission?"
Yifan sat down by his lover, biting his lip as he heard the young Queen's bargin. He looked down at his wife before nodding and looking back to Jongjin, "Sounds like a well thoughtout plan to me. What do you say, Prince Jongjin?"
@❁ Prince Jongjin Ren took Kris' hand and walked in to the living room, sitting down across from Jongjin, there was a serious expression on his face as he thought. "The royal guards are loyal to me, the army is loyal to me, not my father. If you take me to my Kingdom, we can stage a revolt. You step in and kill my father, the Kingdom is yours. As long as you are fair to my people, they will serve you as long as I ask them to. And the ones who don't want to can come with me back to the Winter Kingdom, does that sound fair?"
@❁ Prince Yifan He scoffed quietly, "You guys make me sound so evil." He mumbled before beckoning them over with his hand, "At least take this to my living room. It's weird just being in the hallway like this." He made a disgusted face and went into the living room and sat down. He ran his hand through my hair, "Sorry to ruin your lovely moment but... If you don't want me to take him to his dad what do I get?"
@♥ Princess Ren Yifan pulled Ren into his arms and nodded before whispering softly as he d his lover's hair comfortingly. "I'm not going to fight him.. I've seen enough violence in my life and I'm not strong enough to add to the collection of blood on my hands anymore.. Or to give my blood away.. I'm here to check on you.. Are you alright..? Is he treating you ok..? Are you hurt..?"
@❁ Prince Yifan Minki was in the middle of screaming for help again when he suddenly found himself standing in the middle of different room entirely, standing beside Jongjin. He looked around with wide eyes before he saw Yifan, "Oh no... no get out of here!" He insisted, tears gathering in his eyes. "He'll kill you! Please Kris! I can't lose you!" He sobbed, unable to stop himself from running into Kris' arms and hugging him tightly. "He's... oh Kris I was so scared... You c-can't fight him, okay? Promise me? You can't fight him..."
@❁ Prince Jongjin Yifan nodded and watched carefully, smiling as he saw his wife. "Minki.." He whispered before opening his arms, "I've been so worried. Are you alright?"
@❁ Prince Yifan Jongjin raised a brow, "If you make a run with him, I will make him disappear and I will put him in harms way." He sighed softly and made a swift motion with his hand before Minki appeared next to him, "Your king is here." He gestured to the other and didn't move from the wall.
@❁ Prince Jongjin Kris frowned, "I need to know what he wants with my wife.." Yifan looked over and sighed before throwing his weapons to the ground. "Can't I at least see him..? I need to make sure he's not hurt.."
@❁ Prince Yifan He shrugged softly with a bored look on his face, "Who says I don't know? If you don't know me, don't make assumptions." He blinked softly and tilted his head back to think about it, "I don't know. His father planned on giving Minki to me once I get what he owes me. Frankly, I don't want Minki. He's cute and all but no. Unless he has other plans for Minki, I'll hand him off to you."
@❁ Prince Jongjin Kris growled a the other's statement and looked away, "If you ever knew what love was like you'd understand.." He sighed and looked back to Jongjin. "WHat is his father planning to do with him?" Kris asked curiously, "Do you know?"
@❁ Prince Yifan Jongjin half smiled in amusement and turned around, "Is that your choice?" He shrugged softly and leaned against the wall near him, "Well, his father possess something that I want. The only way I can get it, is if I bring Minki to himm. So I plan on doing so tomorrow." He blinked slowly and checked his fingernails. "Desperate is a strong word considering, it is you who is in desperate need of something in my possess."
@❁ Prince Jongjin "Entertain you?" Yifan growled before letting out a soft huff, "Why do you need Minki anyways? I don't get it. Out of all the Princesses around you had to take a queen that's already married. You must be desperate.."
@❁ Prince Yifan Jongjin stares at the screen as the other shot at it. He chuckled softly and crossed his legs into the chair continuing to watch the screen as it regenerated itself, "Well, if you are so familiar then you must know that all of this is an illusion. No matter what you break," He pointed to the TV screen, "A new just takes place of it. You have to options. You kill me, the castle itself will disappear and who knows where Minki is. On the first floor? On the top floor? Or, you can convince me that I should let him go and not turn him over to his father." He shrugged and stood up laughing at the other's words, "Do you really think these people listen to me because they like me? They fear I'll kill them all so something like this means nothing to them." He waved a dismissive and walked away very slowly, "Choose between the two right now." He stopped walking, "Shoot me or Entertain me."
Yifan gritted his teeth and closed his eyes, looking away in disgust. "You grotesque monster.. What tricky games you have up your sleeve.. Trying to fool me with petty magic.." He stood from his seat and pulled out a small gun. shooting te screen and glaring at the prince. "I've spent my whole life researching magic and half of it being a filthy brat like you.. But I've changed my ways. I know your type because I used to be like you.. I might not look it, but Im over 100 years old.. Now tell me where you've hidden my bride or I'll be forced to tear down your castle just trying to find my queen.. I'm sure your kingdom and the ones around here wouldn't like the news that the prince here kidnaps queens who have already been married.."
Ren screamed as loud as he could and continued to beat at the door of the closest, kicking and clawing and howling, hoping that someone would hear him and let him out. The door wasn't budging from the inside though and he knew he was trapped until Jongjin let him out. Screaming in frustration he nearly started sobbing, he didn't know what to do and he couldn't stand the thought of Kris getting hurt because of him.
@❁ Prince Yifan He grinned and made a tsk-ing noise with his mouth, "Is that anyway to speak to someone you just met?" He sighed playfully and his tv. He created an illusion on the tv so it looked like Minki was tied to a chair and crying. He whistles lowly and looked at the other, "My favorite tv show. Wouldn't you agree?"
@❁ Prince Yifan Jongjin feigned being hurt but the other's words. He smiled and shrugged, "Slit my throat and you'll never find him. So, you might have to play my game." He said unapologetically. He walked into a different room and sat down. He gestures to the seat across from him. "Take a seat."
Yifan huffed and glared at the other angrily, "I'm not going to play your stupid little games. Give me back Minki and I'll consider not slitting your throat.." Kris has killed many people before and he usually kept all his threats. He wasn't playing around.
@❁ Prince Yifan Jongjin hummed softly and smiled, "Afraid not. But, maybe I do," he chuckled and ran his hand through his hair. "It all depends... Why should I tell you?" He raised a brow and slid his hands into his pajama pockets.
