-The Pool

@King Ji Yong "It wouldn't be the first time," she told him, "You've been so busy you can't even keep track of how long it's been since you've bedded me." He made her so mad she could just rip out all his hair. When he showed her the label, she felt kind of bad for assuming they were drugs, but his next words had her anger flaring once more. "Deh," she said in full agreement, "I'll see you either tonight or in a month." If she had to, she'd find someone else to play with for the month. Maybe it would be the perfect time to finally get Seunghyun to break, it was all up to the king. Sighing heavily, she ran a hand through her hair and made her way back inside to change her clothing. She attempted to clear her mind as she walked, but there was no way she could cool her temper.

@Lee Sojung He scoffed at her seeing she was threatening him. "Alright. You really think you can go without or me for a month?" He dared her. "And these are cold pills." He showed her the label. "The doctor told me I had a cold and to take two of these a day to fight it" He narrowed his eyes. "You know you are not the only mistress or woman in this place that would love me to pay them a visit. Just as I know you have your men." He said through gritted teeth. "If I don't show tonight. I'll see you in a month" He smirked at her before turning his back to her and started to way away.

@King Ji Yong "I'm barking orders like someone who cares for you," she told him, "I can be mad at you if you don't make it, because if you don't there will be no with me for a month...whether you visit or not." If he wanted to threaten her with not visiting, she could do just the same. She raised an eyebrow at his actions but nearly didn't comment on them. "Stop taking so many of those pills or I will pick up that habit or worse," she threatened. She'd be damned if she was going to happen upon him again in that situation.

@Lee Sojung "Aish. You're barking orders at me like your my mother or the queen" He retorted huffing and nodded. "I'll do everything I can in my power to meet you for dinner. But if I can't make it; you can't be mad at me. Cause if you are I won't visit you" He warned her walking over and retrieving his bottle and ruffled his hair. "Change into warmer clothes so you for get sick" He coughed a bit before walking back to her after putting the pills in his pocket. "Stay out of trouble" He told her as he crossed his arms looking to her

@King Ji Yong He didn't seem to remember anything that had happened when he was near overdose and that had her more worried than anything else. "I mean I found you face down in the pool, seconds from drowning," she retorted, unhappy that he wasn't even willing to try to take the rest of the day off. When he offered to meet for dinner it only slightly mollified her. "You'll do a sight better than try," she told him, "If you don't show up, I'm hunting you down and dragging you away from whatever meeting you're in."

@Lee Sojung "If I don't get it done; the whole country will be in trouble. You should know that I can never rest from my duties as a king. No matter how much I hate this." He td her with a sighed and looked confused. "Oh you mean over dosed. Yeah I guess I did" He shrugged not seei fb the danger in it. He'd done it countless times only to be depressed the next morning she he realized he had work to do. "I'll try to meet you for dinner how about that?" He offered to her trying to get on her good side. But even he wasn't sure he could meet her for dinner with his schedules

@King Ji Yong "All I can ask is that you try," she whispered, knowing that it was the best he would be able to promise. There were times that she felt helpless about how to keep him doing things like this. "Just don't die on me," she whispered. When he mentioned going back to work, she looked up at him in surprise. "Can't you just call it a day? Have them reschedule what you have left for today?" she asked, "You nearly died."

@Lee Sojung He nodded slightly sighing as he remembered he still had more things to do. "Damn." He looked to her and kissed her softly. "I'll keep you in mind next time I need to release some tension. But I'm not sure how it'll work out in the end" He mumbled running his fingers through his hair as he thought about how many times he'd come so close to oding and brought back to this world, to his title. "Sojung baby, I have to get back to the halls after I go change clothes. But I'll try to see you later, ara?" He asked her softly as he stood up with her and stretched.

@King Ji Yong "I know but if you have time to come out here and do something like this...I rather you come to me," she told him. Sojung looked around with a frown at his question. "Um...maybe an hour, no more than two," she told him, uncertain really. She hadn't been paying much attention when she'd come out here but the sun was only a little lower than it had been when she'd finally gotten him out of the pool.

@Lee Sojung Hugging to him, he looked confused but patted her back. "Ara, ara. But I can't break away, you know that" He said softly returning her kiss. He knew he had upset her, but he wasn't in the mood to really care. He was tired and had a raging headache. "I'm sorry I scared you." He said and turned his head to cough lightly. "How long have we been out here?" He asked raising a brow at her.

@King Ji Yong At some point, she must have fallen asleep, because the next thing she knew he was patting her head and calling her name. "Oppa," she whispered softly, looking up at him for a second before throwing her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly. "Don't ever scare me like that again," she whispered into his ear. At least he was awake now. He even seemed a little more sober, not slurring anymore. Pulling back, she kissed him softly and looked up at him. "I rather you come to me when work becomes too much."

@Lee Sojung In his sleep like state, he wrapped his opposite arm around her to keep her close as he remained asleep. His dreams were full of nothing, just void. His head turned from side to side groaning in his sleep. Eventually he woke up with a splitting headache and rubbing it as he looked around before seeing Sojung against his chest and raised a brow. He was still high on the drugs, but it was very mild that he seemed sober. "Sojung." He said softly petting her head.

@King Ji Yong She watched him, quietly humming the whole time. She never wanted to find him like she had today, but she didn't know how to stop him. She could ask him to cut back on the drugs, but she didn't know the extent of his addiction and she worried that he would say no or grow angry with her just for asking. She wished he would cut back on his work but she knew that it was nearly impossible for him to do that. Still humming, she rested her head on his chest.

@Lee Sojung His head suddenly jerked to the side when he felt the warmth of her hand with his and he sighed softly closing his eyes once more, feeling tired and wanting to sleep. for how long? a few minutes? hours? eternity? He wanted free of this lifestyle, but he couldn't ever get out of it. Not unless he was dead. Hearing her hum, lulled him into a light sleep, his hand holding onto hers and relaxed him. She always seemed to know how to calm him down. He seemed at peace not as he slept next to her.

@King Ji Yong "I can't leave you here with no one knowing that you're here," she told him, "Especially when you're like this." She knew that he would be angry with her, but she couldn't leave him until she knew that he was okay. Sojung had never realized how bad his drug addiction had gotten, let alone that he had bouts of nearly overdosing like this. She could see the loneliness in his eyes and she couldn't leave him alone, not like this. She was supposed to keep that loneliness from his eyes and apparently she hadn't been doing her job if she hadn't noticed it before. Shifting so that she sat on the ground next to him, she started to hum softly while she took his hand in hers.

@Lee Sojung He murmured a string of slurred curses hearing her toss the bottle away and then defying his order. "I order you to go back to your room. Oppa's not going anywhere. I just need to rest first." He slurred more as his hand hand dropped from his eyes and he looked to her. His eyes were full of nothing but loneliness, emptiness and so void. He didn't need to scare her like he was doing. Breaking his eye contact he looked away feeling some drugs leave his system and sighed listening to the silence in the pool area.

@King Ji Yong "I'm someone who cares for you," she told him, tossing the bottle away, out of both their reach since it was obvious that he wouldn't be getting up anytime soon. "I can't just leave you here like this," she told him, fighting back tears, "You're all I have and if I leave you here, I don't know what's going to happen." Running her hand over his chest, she bit her lower lip. "I'm not leaving," she repeated softly.

@Lee Sojung He scoffed seeing her pull away from him and that he's had to much already. "Who are you to say if I have or not?" He told her holding his hand out for the bottle. "Hand it over." He asked her again trying to get up again. He managed to get up on the chair and laid back in it closing his eyes as he felt the world was spinning too much for him. "Sojung, go back to your room and pretend you didn't seen Oppa like this" He murmured covering his eyes with the palm to shade from the sun.

@King Ji Yong "Deh," she said softly, "I'm rejecting your order." When he reached for the bottle, she pulled away from him. "Oppa stop it!" she shouted, pushing his hands away. The fact that she could do so had her worried. "Oppa you've had too much today," she said, her eyes filling with tears. He had her so worried that she couldn't even think to function at all.

@Lee Sojung "Yah. Are you rejecting my order?" He slurred looking at her with narrowed glazed eyes. "I said open it. It has Oppa's medicine in it." He said trying to sit up only to fall back against the chairs leaning his head back as he stared at her breathing deeply before rubbing his face lazily with his hands. "Don't you call for anyone to come help me. I don't want any help" He slurred again reaching for the bottle in her hands again to try and open it himself.

@King Ji Yong Sojung frowned at his words and followed him out of the pool. "I don't know how you fell in the pool," she told him, "I found you like that." When he handed her a bottle and asked her to open it for him, she just started at it in confusion. "What is this?" she demanded, not even attempting to open it, "If it's another drug I think you've had enough." He never slurred like this and he was starting to scare her. "No I'm not spying. I was bored, I thought I might go for a swim. Oppa what's in this bottle?" she asked once more. He was acting so strangely, she didn't know what to do.

@Lee Sojung Hearing her ignore his question, he grabbed the stairs and pulled himself out of the pool and fell on the ground coughing up more water and slurring more. Turning on his back, he looked up at the sky, his head still feeling cloudy. "How'd I fall into the pool" He slurred reached into his pocket and pulled out a bottle trying to open it. "Sojung, open it for Oppa please" He asked feeling his his body was heavy. "What are you doing out here anyways? Are you spying on Oppa" He chuckled slurring again as his hand dropped on his chest still staring up at the sky feeling like the world was moving rapidly around him.

@King Ji Yong Sojung didn't even realize that she was crying as she tried to wake him. She knew that she wouldn't be able to lift him out of the pool, but she used the side to guide them to the stairs. When he started coughing up water, she struggled to calm down a little as she watched him open his eyes. "Oppa," she cried softly, hugging him tightly. When he asked what she was doing there, she struggled to think. "Help me get you out of the pool," she said, unable to think of an answer to his question.

@Lee Sojung His mind was swimming because of the drugs that he was unresponsive. Most of the color had drained from his face. He was still breathing but it was shallow. His skin was slightly cold. His lips quivered slightly from the temperature of the water. Even though he could hear what Sojung was saying he couldn't respond at the time. He felt like his body was shutting down and fighting it at the the same time. Suddenly he started coughing up water as his eyes fluttered opened, completely glazed and red. Looking to the side, he saw Sojung and titled his head not saying anything. "What are you doing here?" He slurred.

@King Ji Yong Sojung walked quietly through the halls, slowly making her way towards the pool. She was bored, as she often was when she by herself, which was the majority of her time. Stepping into the pool area, she frowned at the sight of the turned over chairs. Making her way slowly to the pool, she cried out at the sight of Jiyong in the pool. Rushing to the side of the pool, she didn't hesitate to get in the water and make her way to him. She flipped him over on his back and started pulling him to the side of the pool. "Oppa," she whimpered, one of her hands patting at his face, trying to wake him up.

@Lee Sojung Stumbling as he slurred a string of courses, he stumbled into the pool area tripping over some chairs and pillows before falling on them laughing a bit to himself as he sat up swaying from side to side. He was annoyed at everyone who was working for him that he needed a release from the world. He wasn't sure how many drugs he had taken, he was far beyond this world. Staring into the water he popped another pill into his mouth before standing up stumbling and kept walking, getting closer and closer to the water. Running his fingers through his hair he cursed again as he lost his balance and fell into the pool. Not sure how to react, he just stilled as laid in the water and the drugs mixed together in his body along with water.
