The newest iteration of real time rooms is up now. The biggest issue in Version 1 was that live chat users were not able to see every chat room post primarily from direct replies, dice rolls, and from people who disabled live chat. All of that should now be fixed in this version.
Live chat users should now also be able to use the "Reply" links in incoming messages and reply to them as well.
The other things different from Version 1 of the live chat is the ability to disable it through the "Disable live chat" link as well as the ability to toggle the use of the Enter key for sending messages by checking the "Enter key sends post" checkbox. Also, all textareas should now be back to multiline boxes instead of the single line text input.
Update: Also added character avatars for live chat posts, links now work, and chat admins are identified.
