CHAERIN2

It was a cold February day, frost gently covered the grass in the Forest of Ryuu, a young mother howled with pain as her husband rushed around their small cottage. You see, Chaerin; the young mother was in labor. Her body was sick with sweat, eyes squeezed shut as her legs are parted, the midwife encourged the woman to push, that new life would soon be upon them. However, Chaerin was far to weak to keep going, it had been hours dawn had already passed and it was mid afternoon. The husband Chansoo ran his hands trough his hair, he was afraid. He had never seen his wife in so much pain before. 

 

Chaerin felt herself growing too weak and she struggled to keep pushing, however, soon it was all over. Chaerin gave one final push and collapsed letting the light take her. The midwife quickly took the baby, removing the unbilical chord and wiping the baby clean-a girl. Chansoo rushed towards his wife, who seemed unresponsive to their childs wails. He ran his fingers over her cheek. Calling her name softly. She was still not responding. Chansoo began to panic, his eyes welling with tears as he feared the worst. He checked for a pulse, anything that could indicate life from his love. To no avail she was dead. Chansoo let the tears fall gently down his cheeks, the midwife speaking to him softly. She wanted him to hold the baby, his daughter. Chansoo chewed his lip and took the child from her, Chaerin. That was what his daughters name would be, it would mean faith. 

 

It had been ten years, his daughter now vibrant and sweet. She helped Chansoo out at the stables, himself working for the palace as a stable hand. Chaerin was the spitting image of her mother, she was kind and gentle with the horses and did whatever was asked of her. She had a wonderful relationship with the horses of the kingdom, they were quite fond of her. The family was not poor, they were of noble status. However, Chansoo wanted to teach his daughter how to live without the pretense of superiority. She was to learn to treat others fairly and to be a lady. She was to be polite and gentle.

 

However, she was not afraid to get down and dirty with the boys. As time began to change and Chaerin got older, she began to openly try and out do the men of the kingdom, fighting and roughhousing constantly. She still had that sweet and loving personality, but kept it hidden when trying to prove herself. Now at age twenty-three she was receiving her rank as colonel. She follows direct orders from Kai the Dragon Rider, she knows of his direct relationship with the King and respects him a great deal.

Chaerin is a complex person. She is strong willed, very caring. She is always ready to prove someone wrong. She has been underestimated her entire military career, thought only as the noble girl who helped out at the stables. Chaerin refuses to let pople make a fool out of her and she will gladly fight for what she believes in. She is no princess, she is a warrior, a force to be reckoned with. Chaerin is not afraid to kick your and she bows to no man. She is an equal, not a low woman. To her women are strong and they are what bring a man success. However, she knows how to follow orders and will listen to Kai. She doesn't personally know much about him only that he is a drsgon rider.

 

Chaerin is observant, burying herself in work, she does not have much time for romantic endeavors. She know her rank and what responsibility comes with it. She is brillantly smart, often analyzing her work and the other people around her. She is protective of many things, especially her horse Enoch. She has owned him since he was a babe, his dark chocolatey coat and black mane key features of her image, he was a strong horse, a  military horse. 

 

OOC Things

 

I tend to write with what I am given, if you do novella I tend to try and meet at least half of the length you reply or start with. I am okay with winging a post or plotting, I will put some plots up soon. I don't expect to plot by myself and my bio and personality is above. You come to me you must know you'll be the one starting. I prefer rooms but walls are on occasion fine. I tend to reply within a day or two

When Chaerin was a child she often helped out at the stables with her father, you were a samll village boy who liked to . One day you two decided to take one of the ponies for a ride, not knowing it was a military training horse, when the kingdom guards found you they blamed your father, and punished him. You have grown to resent Chaerin while she only wishes to mend the bond she broke.

You were constantly getting into trouble, especially at the taverns. Chaerin was constantly having to get you out of trouble. One night things get a little too far and one of the soldiers off duty decides to fight with you, Chaerin has to come save your again.

One night caused a sotrm to form. One night of drunken passion which lead to a steamy secret romance. Colonel's and other noble class memebers did not fall in love with the lower class it was forbidden and she is married to her work. Will you prevail as hers or crack from the pressure?
